1 Sebnitz Bulletin 0 By appointment of the Fédéderation Internationale Aéronautique FAI, the Deutscher Aero Club e.v., Aeromodelling Section and the Aeromodelling Club of Sebnitz have the pleasure to invite all National Aero Clubs that are Active Members of or affiliated to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale to participate in the 2002 Control Line World Championships for Seniors & Juniors The competition will be held in Sebnitz town, July The site for the competition will be the Municipal Sports Facilities in Sebnitz. This town is located in the eastern part of (at a distance of about 55 km from Dresden town and 250 Km from Berlin, the capital of ) on the border of the Czech Republic. The competition will be managed in accordance with the valid FAI Sporting Code. Each National Aero Club is allowed to register three senior competitors (or teams in ) and one junior competitor (or team in ) for each class, one Team Manager and one Assistant Team Manager. Entries will be registered in two steps: 1. Preliminary entries with number of participants in each class have to be mailed, faxed or e- mailed to the Organizer before the deadline of March 30, Final Entry Form with names of participants and payment must be mailed to the organizer before the deadline of May 30, Each competitor must be in possession of a valid Sporting License of the FAI for The official languages will be English and German. Participants of some countries will require Entry Visa for. Please check with the German Embassy in your country. BOARD AND LODGING: Lodging is supplied with a variety of choices: Full board and lodging in the Grenzbaude complex, a local holiday-hotel originally designed for youth- and cultural meetings. Lodging is available in 2- and 4-bedded rooms for a total of 350 competitors. Fee (competition included) CHF 900 (=USD 540) Alternative possibilities: Others hotels and luxury hotels. Camping in tents on the municipal campsite. Showers, toilets and outside swimming pool. Camping in camper/motorhome at joining Western Village. Afternoon warm meals during the championships. A great variety of luxury hotels is available in the region. Details of these hotels, above mentioned alternative possibilities and their prices will be included in Bulletin No. 1. Details of prices for single rooms will also be published in the same Bulletin.
