2 Mission The World Curling Federation represents curling internationally and facilitates the growth of the sport through a network of Member Associations/Federations.

3 About The World Curling Federation is the world governing body of the Olympic Winter Sport of Curling and the Paralympic Winter Sport of Wheelchair Curling. Originally founded in 1966 as the International Curling Federation, the ICF changed its name to the World Curling Federation in 1991.

Effective from the 2015/16 season. Introduce Thinking Time instead of Running Time for controlling the length of a curling game. This change will be effective from the 2014 European Championships.

Clocks will be stopped for Time-outs during coaches travel time and during the one minute coaches consultation time.
