STATUS AS AT 30 APRIL The attached statement shows the status of collections of annual cont- ibutions and of advances to the Working Capital Fund as at 30 April WORKING CAPITAL FUND. Three active Members still owed all or part of their advances to the Working Capital Fund. Two of these are new Members - Nepal and Yemen- Advances received from active Members amounted to $2,897,849, or 99.8% of the amount due from the active Members. 3. ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS. The collection of contributions from active Members for the period 1 January to 30 April 1954 in respect to the 1954 assessments was 29.7% of the amount assessed on those Members. The percentage of collections in respect to the 1953 assessments from active Members for the same period in 1953 was 25.2 %. II. Arrears of Contributions inclusive.1 As requested by the thirteenth session of the Executive Board in resolution EB13.R30,2 the Director- General transmitted this resolution in a communication to all Members who were in arrears and invited their attention to resolution VR of the Sixth World Health Assembly and the decision therein which provides that if a Member is in arrears in the payment of its financial contributions to 1Excludes advances to the Working Capital Fund. 2Off. 2 A7 /AFL /5 page 2 the Organization in an amount which equals or exceeds the amount of the contributions due from it for the preceding two full years at the time of the convening of the World Health Assembly in 1955, the Assembly may consider, in accordance with Article 7 of the Constitution, whether or not the right of vote shall be granted to such a Member ".
