2 Dear Handball friends! It is a great honor for the Tyrolean Handball Federation to host the EHF European Masters. We look forward to welcoming you to Innsbruck in June Below you will find the first important information. Importantly, the local organization office is at your disposal for any questions. The event website will be launched by the end of December and you will find all further detailed information on this website. Booking platform: Host city Innsbruck Innsbruck (120,147 inhabitants) is the capital of the state of Tyrol, host city of the Olympic Winter Games 1964 and 1976 and the Youth Olympics Games How to reach Innsbruck Innsbruck Airport: There are several flights per day to/from Innsbruck Airport to Vienna Schwechat Airport and Frankfurt Airport. Distance to/from Munich Airport: 150 km. We will organize if required Airport transfers. Railway: Innsbruck lies along the West railway section and can be directly reached by train from Vienna, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Motorway: Innsbruck can be reached via the A12 from Vienna, Germany and Switzerland and via the A13 from Italy. Airport shuttle: Transfers, e.g. from Munich Airport to Innsbruck can be booked and organized through the local organization office, however, transfers are to be paid by the teams themselves. Venues and transfer (LOT) The Masters will be held in 4 sports halls in Innsbruck. All participants can use public transport in Innsbruck (buses, trams) free of charge from June 6 to June 10, Since the team hotels in Innsbruck and the handball halls here are all connected to the public transport network, they could be reached in no time at no additional cost. The permissions for the free use of public transport in Innsbruck are handed out at the accreditation on June 6, Timetables and travel times are published on the website, but will be also handed out to the teams in writing. We strongly recommend all players to be in possession of a valid medical insurance and check that it adequately covers amateur sport related injuries. Medical costs can be expensive if not insured.

3 Medical supplies Medical care for the participants and accompanying persons is ensured by the University Hospital Innsbruck. Please note that any further medical care, like hospital admission or emergency area assistance is not covered by the LOT. All players are taking part in the games at their own risk. Administrative Matters & Deadlines Registration deadline Please complete the enclosed registration form and send it to the EHF as well as a copy to the LOT. Booking platform: Number of teams Participants 16 teams per category - at maximum (entries based on first come first served ). Teams will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Further information will be available on the event website as well as Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 Venue: Olympiaworld After the official part of the opening ceremony, all the participants and their partners will be invited by the organizer to a snack with regional food and a get-together with music in the VIP area of the Olympiaworld Central meeting point Get-Together The central meeting point for get-togethers in the evening of every game day with regional food and music in the VIP area of the Olympiaworld.

The registration is valid only under the precondition the deposit is paid.
