2 Organizer: Estonian Taekwondo Union GENERAL INFORMATION Date: 10 th of December 2016 Place: Lasnamäe kergejõustikuhall (Punane 45, Tallinn) Registration: Registration should be done before 1 st of december 2016 Competition Rules: The new WTF Competition rules and in some cases overruled by rules of the ETU. For Cadets, Juniors and Seniors we are using the latest WTF Competition rules strictly. For Children 6-8 years/ head kicks are not allowed according to the laws. Places: 1-1st place; 1-2nd place; 1-3rd place Equipment for sparring: mandatory equipment: helmet, protector, mouthpiece, groin-protector, the soft Protectors on the lower leg and foot, and forearm, as well as sensory socks «Dae do». Electronic chest Protectors «Dae do» will be provided by the organizers of the tournament, the remaining equipment Should be personalized for each athlete. Qualification of participants: B Division: from white belt till green belt A-Division: up to green belt Age: Seniors: 18 years and over ; Juniors: 15 years up to 17 ; Cadets: 12 years up to 14; Children: 6 years up to 8; 9 years up to 11. 3 (If there are less than 3 participants in a category, categories may be combined.) Time mode: 3 X 1.30 minutes, for Seniors & Juniors only. 2 X 1.30 minutes, for Children, Cadets. Places: 1-1st place; 1-2nd place; 1-3rd place. For a 3rd place will be a sparring. Entry fee for individual participation: 15 entry fee per participant, which must be paid during registration. During competitions it will not be possible to pay entry fee. Awards ceremony: The winners will be awarded medals and diplomas. Protest: A protest (written statement addressed to the organizers of the event and video battle) may be filed only by the representative of a team within 5 minutes after the match. The protest must be filed with a deposit - 50 euros. In meeting the protest, the deposit is returned. If the protest is rejected, the deposit is not refundable. Coaches: Only one person is permitted to accompany the athlete to the match site. He or she should be dressed in sportswear and sports shoes, and must participate in the meeting. Meeting: For referees and coaches before the competition, will be a briefing at 8.30am Referees: Each team can provide two referees. Uniform of the referees: black (dark) pants, white shirt and sport shoes. The referees will be paid for their work. Insurance and medical admission: All athletes must be healthy and have no restrictions on participation in the competition. Application for these events must also be signed by the representative of the team. Insurance is offered to the athletes by a coach or the team representative. The representative of the team is responsible for the team and takes full responsibility for the accuracy and authenticity of the credentials and documents on the athletes participating provided to the organizing committee. Injuries: Athletes will be provided with necessary medical first aid. Registration Registration will be in the hotel Ecoland. 3
