2 INVITATION Dear Mr. President On behalf of the Turkish Taekwondo Federation I am proud to invite you and your athletes to participate in the 6 th European Clubs Championships which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, February, th European Clubs Championships is granted as WT G1 as well. We quarantee high quality organization and competition with the best international referees in order to quarantee maximum transparency, fair play& impartiality for the athletes. One behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to ensure that we will make every possible effort in organizing a successful tournament of the highest technical level. METHOD OF COMPETITION Competition will be WTF Rules. Single elimination tournament Qualifications: Holder of Nationality of the participating country. Athletes from athletic Clubs members of WTF Member National Federations WT Global License is mandatory for all age categories. Qualifications Coaches The minimum qualification requirements for coaches are as follows: All coaches must be at least 18 years of age. All Coaches / Trainers must be holders of the World Taekwondo Europe License or the respective CU Coach License (granted by participation in a CU Coach Seminar). Coaches / Trainers that do not have the CU Coach License or their License is expired shall pay a 200, - penalty at the registration desk. 4. CONTEST TIME i. Seniors: 2 minute x 3 rounds with 1 minute break ii. Juniors and Cadets: 1,30 minute x 3 rounds with 1 minute break 5. AGES SENIORS: An athlete must be born in 2001 and earlier (+17 years) JUNIORS: Date of Birth ( ) CADETS: Date of Birth (2004,2005 & 2006) NOTE: Whoever is eligible for Junior and Senior category because of the age, he/she has to pick only one category for competition.

4 6. WEIGHT DIVISIONS Senior Male: -54, -58, -63, , -80, -87, +87. Senior Female: -46, -49, -53, -57,-62, -67, -73, +73. Junior Male: -45, -48, -51, -55, -59, -63, -68, -73, -78, +78. Junior Female: -42, -44, -46, -49, -52.,-55, -59, -63, -68, +68. Cadet Male: -33, -37, -41, -45, -49, -53, -57, -61, -65, +65. Cadet Female: -29, -33, -37, -41, -44, -47, -51, -55, -59, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT & UNIFORM The participants shall wear the WT recognised Taekwondo Uniform. Daedo PSS and sensing Head gears will be used at this Tournament and will be provided by the OC. All athletes must bring their own Daedo sensor socks. Groin/Forearm/Shinguards and Gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Head Gear only blue and red colour is permitted Mouth piece is compulsory! (Only white or transparent) 8. GLOBAL ATHLETE LICENCE & ONLINE REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: AT LATEST 27 JANUARY, Entries after deadline will not be accepted Entries will stop when we reach 1500 players. Team entries will only be accepted through the WT online registration system and registration is only possible with a valid WT Global Licence. The GMS administrator will be notified via once the online registration is open. ( 9. REFEREES Only International Referees will be accepted. An official invitation for the referees will sent to all Federations. Referee meeting at 19:00, Monday 5 th February at WOW Hotel & Convention Center, the Official hotel for the Referees. 10. ENTRY FEE (Euro) for each Contestant **Changes of weight divisions after the deadline are allowed - Cost: 25. ***Additional registration of officials/ or amendments requested at the registration desk is subject of an administrational fee of 50 (new accreditation requests). The Entry Fees must be paid in EURO S and please have in mind that it is your responsibility to arrange any additional payment on currency or bank charges. If there are any additional charges on the account of the European Taekwondo Union then it should be paid by cash during the registration. All payments must be done by the team (individual payments are not allowed). 5 Entry Fees must be paid before the deadline (27 JANUARY, 2018) Note: Reservation and Registrations are only valid when payment have been received and confirmed by the bank and the organizer. IMPORTANT: -If the athlete registered on-line does not take part in the competition for some reason, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before the deadline (27 th JANUARY, 2018) his / her team officially must fully (100%) pay his/her entry fee for participation. -If a team does not show up at the event and has not requested a participation cancellation before the deadline, it will be requested to settle the payment of the entry fees in full(100%) -The entry fee is non-refundable. Each National Team is required to present a copy of the bank transaction, as proof of entry fee payment at the Registration Centre. Any team unable to present a copy of the Bank transaction will be required to pay in cash to the WT Europe official responsible onsite. Belt Requirements for Poomsae 1 st Poom / Dan and above Belt Requirements for Kyourugi For Senior 1 st Dan and above/ for Junior and Cadets : 1 st Kup and above Incomplete application forms or applications without entry fees are invalid and will be sent back. Applications and payments shall be sent at the same time. Receipt of entry fees, hotel accommodations and applications shall be sent by . Payment must be done per team or club Hotel reservations that are cancelled after January 13st, will be fined 50% of the total hotel reservation cost. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after January 27 th, will be fined 100% of the total hotel reservation cost. DAEDO Electronic Body Protectors and sensoring head gears will be provided by the OC, for all the competitors. Only WT approved equipment will be allowed to use in this tournament (even dobok etc.) The latest version of WT-recognized manufacturers list is available at the website of WT: Groin / forearm / shinguards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Mouth piece is compulsory! (White or transparent) All the players must bring their own full equipment except body protector. Only competitors and coaches have admittance to the field of play. Coaching is only allowed in sportswear. First Aid will be provided by the organization and is only to be used in case of an Emergency 11. INSURANCE The organisation and supervisor assume no responsibility for teams, any damages, violence, loses and injures during the stay in Turkey. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Turkey. If not, this will have to be paid cash. 12. CLASSIFICATION OF RESULTS Individual Awards Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective classifications and weight divisions of the pertinent championships: 1 st PLACE: GOLD MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 2 nd PLACE: SILVER MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE: BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE: BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE Team Awards

6 Cups will be awarded to the top five European clubs ( Club ranking classification will be among only European Clubs) European Club ranking method: Ranking will be done by Olympic system. In case of draw, next ranking criteria; a- more match winning team b- more points collecting team c- less gam-jeom collecting team 13. HEAD OF TEAM MEETING & DRAWING OF LOTS SESSION The head of team meeting and the drawing of lots session shall be conducted on Monday 05/02/2018, in the presence of OC the representatives of the participating Clubs- Teams. 14. WEIGH-IN Weigh-in of the contestants shall be completed one day before their scheduled competition day. During the weigh-in, male contestants shall wear underpants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres. However, contestants may weigh-in in the nude if they want to do so. 15. INDEMNITIES The respective club shall be responsible for ensuring that their participants have validly completed and signed the official participation forms, thus indemnifying the organizers, its officials and other contestants from any claims of injuries, losses, fatalities or otherwise arising in the course of participation in this tournament or any activities thereto. The respective club shall be responsible for ensuring that all officials and participants are covered with effective insurance coverage. Participants without proper participation entry forms and effective insurance coverage will not be allowed to compete at the championships. The Organizing Committee will acquire general insurance, at its own expenses, for all participants of the tournament, including but not limited to contestants and staffs, in the event of any injury and/or damages that may arise during the course of the championships. 16.
