2 WELCOME FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONFEDERATION PAN OF JUDO Dear judokas from America, The Panamerican Judo Confederations wants to give a warm welcome to PAN AMERICAN CUP which will be held on 28 and 29 October in the city of Lima. The invite to participate in this event, that with certainty will be a featured event, where you can enjoy not only better American judo, but beautiful Lima, it s people and it s cuisine. The competition will take place in the higher categories for men and women. We have attached the regulations for the event, program, registration forms and flight schedules. 7 6. INSURANCE Each National Federation is responsible for its competitors. Both the No-Embarazo control and control of gender are your responsibility. The federations should take all the liability by the insurance of accident and diseases and civil responsibilities for competitors and officials throughout the stay in Perú. The organization of the tournament and the Peruvian Sports Federation of Judo will not be responsible for any insurance related matters mentioned previously. Within the Colosseum of competition, the Organization will have emergency primary care and ambulance for the transfer to any hospital if required. All subsequent or extraordinary medical care, such as injury and/or disease that require hospitalization, treatments, surgical interventions and medications, will be assumed in all their costs by the Federation of each country. For both events, all delegations and participating judokas will exempt liability to the Federacion Deportiva Peruana de Judo an its respective Organizing Committee by any accident, injury, disease or death arising within or outside the competition or in travel and transfers related to this event.

They include power according to regime elected and transportation from the aiport/hotel/airport; and hotel/colosseum/hotel at the times provided for competitors. Accommodation/Breakfast: Full board: Accommodation with breakfast Accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner Hotel reservations can only be made through the Organization of the Championship. Hotel reservations should be make by 10 October. Minimum booking: three (3) nights. The hotel will be in US dollars which shall be made by 15 October through electronic Bank Transfer. (See details of Bank Account on the next page) Those delegations of countries that cannot complete bank transfers must pay in cash at the time of accreditation have met the deadlines of registration and formal reservation previously posted. The delegations that for any reason do not stay at the official hotels as indicated in these rules shall pay an additional fee of USD 200 per member of the delegation. These delegations will not have power, training and transportation to the tournament.

9 Any reservation or request for room and board requested after the deadlines will have a 10% surcharge to the stated fees, no exceptions. Any cancellation of rooms prior to 15 October will not have the right to a refund. Cancellations of reservation cannot be made at the time of accreditation. Injuries, problems with visa or diseases will not be valid reasons for the cancellation of reservations. The reservations Hotel is held in order of arrival of the applications sent. In case of exhausted supply of rooms at the designated hotels, the group will be assigned, with prior notification, a hotel with the same characteristics and proximity similar to the hotels mentioned in these bases. IMPORTANT: All damage to the property of the hotels or the tournament places resulting from the stay of a delegation, shall be PAID by the respective Federation, who, with registration for the tournament, are responsible for full payment of the damages caused by any of the members of the delegation. 10 8. ACCREDITATIONS Accreditation and delivery of the credentials will be at hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Miraflores. PANAMERICAN CUP Thursday 26 October at 12:00 pm to 08:00 pm Friday 27 October at 09:00 am to 12:00 pm SOUTH AMERIAN CHAMPIONSHIP SENIOR Wednesday 26 October at 12:00 pm to 08:00 pm Thursday 27 October at 09:00 am to 12:00 pm The head of the delegation of each country must be made in time to approve all the athletes and delegates. At that time also the total cost must be paid per competitor entered for each of the tournaments in which they participate. Late attendance or absence at the control of accreditation will mean the exclusion of all competitors in the draw and the event. All competitors and technical delegates will be provided with credentials which must be carried at all times. The passports of all participants should be available all the time should they be required. 9. RULES OF COMPETITION The competition will take place in accordance with the rules of arbitration IJF. WEIGH-IN Weigh-ins will be held at the Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Miraflores on Thursday, 27 October, Pan American Cup participants. According TO RULES DRESS CODE OF THE IJF. 12. CEREMONIA DE PREMIACIÓN At the time to receive the award, the athletes should appear with WHITE judogi. Any competitor who has won a medal must go to the ceremony and receive the medal in person. If a competitor is absent during the award ceremony for an invalid reason, they shall lose their right to the medal. It is strictly prohibited for competitors take their national flags of similar IDs to the podium. Also prohibited are any religious, political, personal or commercial demonstrations, or do so by using a cap or other covering of the head or any other gadget. 13. JUDOGI and PROTOCOL In all official training, awards and ceremonies at the beginning and end of the tournament, judokas must wear WHITE judogi and must appear without socks or jackets and accessories For hygiene of the feet, the judokas must move with shoes in the areas of warming. Women competitors must use, uder the judogi jacket, a t-shirt or smooth white mesh, short sleeves, fabric waterproof, long enough to insert in inside the pants. T-shirt or mesh must be crew neck and they may not have marks or drawings visible. Women s and men s hair must not touch the lapel of the jacket. The judogis must be clean and with measures tailored to the IJF. The Sokuteiki will be used in Control of Judogis. Failure to comply with these rules will mean disqualification from the tournament. 15. COACHES The code of conduct of the coaches will be observed strictly, even the dress code, which for this event may be with jacket, pans and tie or the sports uniform of their delegation. Not allowed coaches give indications to competitors while they are fighting. Only during the breaks of the MATE are the coaches allowed to give instructions to their athletes. After the break and continuation of combat, coaches must keep silent again. If a coach does not respect these rules, they may be expelled from the competition area. If a coach persists in this behavior from outside the area of competition, they may be penalized and expelled from the sports compound.

12 15. TRAINING Hours of training will be delivered at the time of accreditation at the official hotel. 16. TRANSPORTATION INTERNAL The organizers will provide delegations housed in official hotels, free of charge, transport between the airport and the official hotels and from the official hotels to the planned activities for the tournament. The organization is not responsible for other transport, if the information of itineraries of flight not sent in time or if there are changes without notice, and in any case to activities outside those offered by the tournament. 17. PRINCIPAL KEY All the federations, their delegates, coaches and competitors participating in Lima Pan American Cup and South American Championship Senior, should respect and accept the authority of leaders, bylaws and sporting regulations and organization, as well as the rules of arbitration of the IJF.
