2 Tournament Information Tulsa Metro Softball League is hosting two LGBT softball tournaments this summer: the 2013 NAGAAA Cup and the 2 nd annual Tulsa Crude Classic. The 2013 NAGAAA Cup is an invitation-only tournament hosted by the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance over Memorial Weekend. The tournament is expected to draw 32 teams with players and fans from gay leagues across the USA and Canada. The Tulsa Crude Classic is Tulsa Metro Softball League s annual tournament and is open to teams from LGBT leagues. This tournament will be a regional draw with teams from OKC, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Tulsa competing over the weekend of July 5-7, We expect teams with players and fans. Games will play on Saturday and Sunday for both tournaments at the Carl Smith Softball Complex located at E. 21 st Street in Tulsa, OK NAGAAA Cup Hotel Information The downtown Hyatt Regency has been designated as the 2013 NAGAAA Cup Host Hotel with a rate of $89 per night. NAGAAA selected the Hyatt Regency for its ability to accommodate all teams at one hotel, as well as its proximity to the Brady District and other downtown locations. Tulsa Crude Classic Hotel Information The 2013 Tulsa Crude Classic has selected the new Fairfield Inn & Suites-Tulsa Downtown Brady Arts District as their tournament host hotel with a rate of $89 per night. TMSL chose this hotel for its amenities for players, such as free Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast being included in the nightly rate and because of its easy access downtown. Entertainment TMSL will host an Opening Party for the 2013 NAGAAA Cup at the Guthrie Green on Friday, May 24, The event will include a welcome and introduction of teams, entertainment, and other events to welcome the players to Tulsa. TMSL is also planning a similar event at the Guthrie Green for the Tulsa Crude Classic on Friday, July 5, Saturday evening events will be planned at local LGBT bars. Events are TBD based on sponsorships sold. The Closing Parties for both 2013 NAGAAA Cup and Tulsa Crude Classic are TBD at this time based on sponsorships sold.
