5 REPORT SMTE LEVEL II 16, JANUARY,2018 For the last ten years DPS society has been organising the Science and Math Talent Examination (SMTE) in collaboration with Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) exclusively for the students of class IX of all Delhi Public Schools at two levels. The level I exam was conducted on 13 th November 2017and level II on 17 th December Eight students of our school have attained the distinctions of securing ranks amongst the top 121 students. Vagish Bhushan Nangia and Kaavya Chopra has brought laurels to our school by scoring second and fifth ranks respectively. 6 Dazzling Stars DPS SMTE The mathematical genius and scientific acumen of DPS Vasant Kunj dazzled over the DPS firmament, when our meritorious students proved their mettle once again at the prestigious DPS Science and Mathematics Talent Examination 2017, which is conducted for the students of Class IX at the National Level. Virtuoso Vagish Bhushan Nangia secured the 2 nd Rank in the said examination. In a masterly stroke, Kavya Chopra bagged the 5 th Position while Smriti Sehrawat stood at the 10 th Rank. An impressive eight students of DPS Vasant Kunj accomplished a superlative feat by securing ranks among the top 100 in the country. A total of twelve students displayed peerless performance by getting listed in the top 150 ranks achieved by the students of Delhi Public Schools across the length and breadth of the country.
