The Universiade is a sports gala and a celebration for the young people of the world. Shenzhen will invigorate the young people and make their dreams come true. Chapter I Overview Introduction Ticket Sales Guidebook for the 26 th Summer Universiade, Shenzhen provides the necessary information to purchase tickets for the competitions (except for Opening/Closing ceremony). Please read this Guidebook carefully before buying your tickets. This Guidebook can be obtained at outlets authorized by the Organizing Committee for the 26 th Summer Universiade, Shenzhen or downloaded from the official website We will provide updated ticketing information on the website to supplement the Guidebook. We recommend that you keep the Guidebook until the end of the Games and check the website for the latest information. Chapter II Policies and Procedures Types of Tickets In accordance with the ticket policies for the 26 th Summer Universiade, three types of tickets will be offered.

2 Reserved Seating: One ticket is for one specific seat. Area Seating: The ticket allows access into a certain area of the spectator stands. The ticket-holder can take any available seat in that area. Open Seating: The ticket-holder can take any available seat in the spectator stands. Note: The above-mentioned categories might be modified in accordance with the actual situation. Accessible Seating Facilities Wheelchair seats and escort seats for the handicapped will be arranged according to the actual situation of the venues. Sales Policies Customers The general customers can purchase tickets through the public ticketing channels in China. Free Entry A child shorter than 1.2 m will not need a ticket when accompanying a ticket-holding parent or guardian. The child must share one seat with the parent or guardian. Legal Terms for Spectators Spectators must accept the regulations of the Organizing Committee and the terms written on the back of the tickets. 3 Ticket Quantity In order to (1) enable as many people as possible to enjoy the Shenzhen Universiade, and (2) to prevent hoarding, reselling, and scalping of tickets, the Organizing Committee has put the following restrictions on the number of tickets that can be purchased: 1 st Phase: Popular sports: 2 tickets per person for each session Regular sports: 5 tickets per person for each session 2 nd Phase: Tickets can be purchased according to availability. 6 Total 167 Payment All payments for the tickets must be made in Chinese renminbi. General customers can purchase tickets at China Merchants Bank with cash or China Merchants Bank cards (debit/credit cards), and at the ticket outlets at the venues with cash or bank cards (debit/credit cards). Refunds and Exchanges Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged if the session is delayed, prolonged, or postponed. General customers can gain access with the original tickets. Tickets will be refunded or exchanged only if the session is cancelled. General customers must complete the Ticket Refund Sheet, which can be downloaded from the official website or obtained from staff at the venues. The refund will be paid to the customer within 90 working days after the end of the Shenzhen Universiade. The refund will be made only by bank transfer; the refund will not be made in cash, or through credit cards, bank debit cards or other means. The refund will be the exact amount that the Organizing Committee received; no interest will be paid. The tickets cannot be used as payment vouchers. Official receipts can be obtained at China Merchants Bank or the ticket outlets at the venues. Loss, Theft or Damage Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be reimbursed or refunded. Reselling of Tickets is Prohibited Illegal reselling of the tickets is a prohibited. Tickets can only be transferred in legal ways and at the same face value of the tickets, in accordance with the policies of the Organizing Committee. Gymnasium of the Sports Center of Shenzhen University Town (Volleyball: Preliminaries) The Gymnasium of the Sports Center of Shenzhen University Town is a new sports venue built for the Shenzhen Universiade. The Gymnasium has a floor area of 14,183 square meters and 5,696 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Gymnasium will be used for Volleyball preliminaries. 2. Yuanping Gymnasium of Shenzhen University (Volleyball: Preliminaries) Yuanping Gymnasium of Shenzhen University was built in The gymnasium has a floor area of 10,000 square meters and 2,170 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Yuanping Gymnasium of Shenzhen University will be used for Volleyball preliminaries. 3. Gymnasium of Shenzhen Polytechnic (Volleyball: Preliminaries) The Gymnasium of Shenzhen Polytechnic is located on the east campus of Shenzhen Polytechnic. This sports complex has a total floor area of 11,176 square meters and 2,839 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Gymnasium of Shenzhen Polytechnic will be used for Volleyball training sessions and preliminaries. 4. Shenwanyi Road Football Pitch (Archery: Preliminaries and )

10 The Shenwanyi Road Football Pitch covers an area of 29,000 square meters. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Pitch will be the venue for the Archery preliminaries and finals. During the competitions, the pitch will have 500 temporary seats for spectators. 5. Gymnasium of the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center (Table Tennis: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Bay Sports Center is located in the northeastern corner of the Houhai Central Area of Nanshan District and in the middle part of the 15 km-long Coastal Leisure Zone of Shenzhen Bay. The Shenzhen Bay Sports Center consists of the Stadium and the Gymnasium. The Gymnasium has 12,737 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Gymnasium of the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center will be the venue for the Table Tennis preliminaries and finals. 6. Athletic Field of Shenzhen University (Football: Preliminaries)

11 The Athletic Field of Shenzhen University is located in Shenzhen University, and has about 12,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Athletic Field of Shenzhen University will be used for Football preliminaries. 7. Stadium of the Sports Center of Shenzhen University Town (Football: Preliminaries) The Sports Center of Shenzhen University Town contains the Stadium, the Gymnasium and the Natatorium, with a total floor area of 38,493 square meters. The Stadium has a total floor area of 15,300 square meters and 15,942 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Stadium of the Sports Center of Shenzhen University Town will be used for Football preliminaries. 8. Main Stadium of Universiade Center (Athletics: Preliminaries and ) The Main Stadium of Universiade Center can host international, national and local sport events and large music events. It is a multi-functional sports complex for competitions, cultural events and various kinds of entertainment. The Stadium is an oval-shaped axis-symmetric structure with a floor area of 130,000 square meters; it has about 60,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Main Stadium of Universiade Center will be the venue for the Athletics preliminaries and finals. 9. Main Gymnasium of Universiade Center (Basketball: Preliminaries and )

12 The Main Gymnasium of Universiade Center is a multi-functional complex that can host indoor sports events, such as basketball and skating, as well as large-scale performances, public meetings and small expos. The Gymnasium has a total floor area of 80,000 square meters and about 18,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Main Gymnasium of Universiade Center will be the venue for the Basketball preliminaries and finals. 10. Main Natatorium of Universiade Center (Swimming: Preliminaries and ) The Main Natatorium of Universiade Center can host international and national swimming and water polo competitions. It was designed in accordance with the latest FINA standards. The Natatorium has a total floor area of 43,000 square meters and about 2,864 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Main Natatorium of Universiade Center will be the venue for the Swimming preliminaries and finals. 11. Gymnasium of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (Badminton: Preliminaries and ) The Gymnasium of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology has a floor area of 11,600 square meters and about 3,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Gymnasium

13 of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology will be the venue for the Badminton preliminaries and finals. 12. Stadium of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (Football: Preliminaries) The Stadium of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology has a floor area of 7,094 square meters and about 5,000 spectator seats. During Universiade Shenzhen 2011, the Stadium of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology will be used for Football preliminaries. 13. Stadium of Shenzhen Sports School (Football: Preliminaries) The Stadium of Shenzhen Sports School is located on Longxing Avenue in Huanggekeng, Longgang District. It has 1,989 spectator seats. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, the Stadium of Shenzhen Sports School will be used for Football preliminaries. 14. Longgang International Cycling Course (Cycling: Preliminaries & ) Longgang International Cycling Course is the world s first venue designed and built in accordance with the 2001 UCI standards. It covers a floor area of 12,800 square meters, and has about 1,500 spectator seats. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, Longgang International Cycling Course will be the venue for the Cycling preliminaries and finals.

14 15. Tennis Court of Longgang Sports Center (Tennis: Preliminaries & ) The Tennis Court of Longgang Sports Center covers a floor area of 7,519.5 square meters, and has about 4,150 spectator seats. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, the Tennis Court of Longgang Sports Center will be used for the Tennis preliminaries and finals. 16. Trap & Skeet Range of Longgang Universiade Park (Shotgun: Preliminaries & ) The Trap & Skeet Range covers an area of 24,000 square meters, and has 300 temporary seats for spectators. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, the Trap & Skeet Range will be used for the Shotgun preliminaries and finals. 17. Complex Training Hall of Shenzhen Sports School (Weightlifting: Preliminaries and ) The Complex Training Hall of Shenzhen Sports School is located on Longxing Avenue in Huanggekeng of Dayun-Xincheng Community, Longgang District of Shenzhen. It covers 16,000 square meters and has 1,451 spectator seats. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, the Complex Training Hall of Shenzhen Sports School will be the venue for the Weightlifting preliminaries and finals.

15 18. Gymnasium of the Pingshan Sports Complex (Basketball: Preliminaries) The Gymnasium of the Pingshan Sports Complex is located north of Dashanbei Reservoir in Pingshan New District of Shenzhen. The gymnasium has a total floor area of 15,350 square meters and about 4,500 spectator seats. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, the Gymnasium of Pingshan Sports Complex will be used as a venue for Basketball preliminaries. 19. Shenzhen Luohu Gymnasium (Basketball: Preliminaries) Shenzhen Luohu Gymnasium has a total floor area of 24,231 square meters and contains the Main Hall, the Training Hall, and the Swimming Hall, as well as support facilities, a clubhouse and a parking area. The multi-functional Main Hall has 3,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Luohu Gymnasium will be used as a venue for Basketball preliminaries. 20. Shenzhen Gymnasium (Volleyball: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Gymnasium is located at the intersection of the Sungang West Road and Shangbu Road in Futian District of Shenzhen. It has a total floor area of 11,200 square meters and contains the Main Hall, the Auxiliary Hall and West Square. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Gymnasium will be used for Volleyball preliminaries and finals.

16 21. Shenzhen Stadium (Football: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Stadium has a total floor area of 41,169 square meters and about 34,900 spectator seats. Its football pitch meets international standards. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Stadium will be used for Football preliminaries and finals. 22. Shenzhen Swimming & Diving Gymnasium (Diving: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Swimming & Diving Gymnasium can host large international and national competitions for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo. It was designed and built in accordance with the latest FINA standards. The gymnasium has a total floor area of 8,066 square meters and about 4,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Swimming & Diving Gymnasium will be the venue for the Diving preliminaries and finals. 23. Gymnasium of Futian Sports Park (Aerobics: Preliminaries and ) The Gymnasium of Futian Sports Park is located at the intersection of Binhe Avenue and Shazui Road. The gymnasium has a total floor area of 101,200 square meters and about 2,300 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade,, the Gymnasium of Futian Sports Park will be the venue for the Aerobics preliminaries and finals. 24. Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Halls No. 6, 7, 8, 9 and Plum Blossom Hall (Judo;

17 Taekwondo; Fencing; Chess: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the downtown area of Shenzhen and has a total floor area of 280,000 square meters. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Halls No. 6, 7 and 8 will be used as venues for the Judo and the Taekwondo preliminaries and finals. Hall 9 will be used as the venue for the Fencing preliminaries and finals. The Plum Blossom Hall will be used as the venue for the Chess preliminaries and finals. 25. Shenzhen Bao an Natatorium (Water Polo: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Bao an Natatorium is located in the Sports Center of the new Central Business District of Bao an District. It has a total floor area of 46,070 square meters and about 3,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Bao an Natatorium will be the venue for the Water Polo preliminaries and finals. 26. Shenzhen Bao an Gymnasium (Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Bao an Gymnasium is located in the western Central Business District of Shenzhen. It has a total floor area of 47,000 square meters and 8,188 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen

18 Universiade, Shenzhen Bao an Gymnasium will be the venue for the preliminaries and finals of both Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics. 27. Shenzhen Bao an Stadium (Football: Preliminaries and ) Shenzhen Bao an Stadium is located in the new downtown area of Bao an District. The Stadium has a total floor area of 100,000 square meters and about 40,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Bao an Stadium will be used as a venue for the Football preliminaries and finals. 28. Shenzhen Bao an Xixiang Sports Center (Football: Preliminaries) Shenzhen Bao an Xixiang Sports Center is located at the intersection of Yintian Road and Baoyuan Road in the Xixiang downtown area of Bao an District in Shenzhen. The sports center has a total floor area of 63,294 square meters and about 3,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Bao an Xixiang Sports Center will be used as a venue for Football preliminaries. 29. Mission Hills Golf Club (Golf: Preliminaries and )

19 Mission Hills Golf Club China, with 12 courses and 216 holes, is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world s largest golf club. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the World Cup Course and the Vijay Course at the Club will be the venues for the Golf preliminaries and finals. 30. Gymnasium of the Senior High Division of Shenzhen Foreign Languages School (Basketball: Preliminaries) The Gymnasium of the Senior High Division of Shenzhen Foreign Languages School is located on Yantian Road in Yantian District. It has a total floor area of 7,553 square meters and about 3,000 spectator seats. During the Shenzhen Universiade, the Gymnasium of the Senior High Division of Shenzhen Foreign Languages School will be used as a venue for Basketball preliminaries. 31. Yantian Complex Gymnasium (Volleyball: Preliminaries) Yantian Complex Gymnasium is located on Inner Ring Road, Dameisha, Yantian District of Shenzhen. From the outside, the gymnasium looks like a sea shell; the design reflects the local seaside environment. The gymnasium has two courts that can be used for volleyball or basketball competitions, and a total of 3,579 spectator seats. During the Universiade Shenzhen 2011, Yantian Complex Gymnasium will be used as a venue for Volleyball preliminaries. 32. Dameisha Beach Volleyball Court (Beach Volleyball: Preliminaries and )

20 Dameisha Seaside Park is located on the fascinating South China Sea. The Park has a 1,800 meter-long beach. During the Shenzhen Universiade, Dameisha Beach Volleyball Court, consisting of eight courts in Dameisha Seaside Park, will be used as the venue for the Beach Volleyball preliminaries and finals. Temporary spectator stands with about 2,100 seats will be available during the competitions. Chapter IV Competition Schedule and Ticket Prices Note: At the present stage of preparations for the Shenzhen Universiade, we can now provide only the The General Competition Schedule for the 26 th Summer Universiade and Preliminary Ticket Prices for the Ceremonies and Competitions of the Shenzhen Universiade. The Ticket Center will issue The Guidebook of the Schedule and Ticket Prices for the 26 th Summer Universiade, Shenzhen after the information has been confirmed.
