The detailed schedule will be delivered to all participants upon arrival. The Competition is limited to military personal on active duty. (see CISM Regulations, Art. 7.21) 3. PARA INFORMATION CISM takes steps to give more sporting opportunities to disabled athletes, and Para-Laser-Run will be introduce. Every countries could be entered three athletes for the competition. The para team could be mixed or same gender athletes. Determining eligibility: T TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE COMPETITION VENUE The cost of travel to and from Hungary will be the responsibility of the participating country. The organizer will ensure the transportation from the place of arrival/departure in Hungary to the place of stay if the delegation s arrival data will be submitted to organizers until 20. August 2018 using Annex 2A form. The organizer will ensure the transportation during the competition between the accommodation and competition venue. 5. CUSTOMS and VISA PROCEDURES Information concerning passports, visas and vaccinations can be obtained from the Hungarian Embassy in your country (Invitation is present at Hungarian Embassy). The organizer is not responsible for any Customs or Visa Procedures. All information of applying visa are available at 8. WEATHER CONDITIONS The weather in the end of September can range from a daily high of Celsius to a daily low of 8-12 Celsius. The possibility of sunshine is normal, also the rain. Average wind is NW, 2-10 m/s 9. CURRENCY The currency in Hungary is Hungarian Forint. (The currency rate in March 2018: 1 Euro is 313 HUF; 1 USD is 254 HUF). Currency exchange is available at the airport and local banks. It is also possible to withdraw cash from automated cash points. REGULATIONS The competition will be organized in accordance with the most recent regulations of the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) and CISM Modern Pentathlon Regulation, edition o Swimming: 25m indoor swimming pool 8 lanes o Fencing: 9+1 fencing pistes indoor o Combined Event: 36+2 precision laser targets grass and rekortan surface Possible exceptions of the regulations and modifications will be forwarded to all participating nations. The official working language for this Championship is English. 1. ANTI-DOPING Anti-Doping tests will be conducted in accordance with the CISM Regulations Chapter IX, CISM Anti-Doping Rules, the concerned CISM Sports Regulations, the concerned International Federation Rules, and all WADA rules, mainly the World Anti-Doping Code, and the International Standard for Testing. The number and type of tests, as well the athletes to be tested shall be determined by the CISM Anti-Doping Commission. These procedures will follow the concerned CISM Test Distribution Plain (TDP). In case an athlete has a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE), the Chief of Delegation should send this TUE to the CISM GS until 30 days before the Opening Ceremony. This TUE will be submitted to the TUE Commission to analysis and further approval. 6

7 2. UNIFORMS Official uniform is required for the Opening and Closing Ceremony. During Award Ceremony and technical meetings the competition outfit is required. Military official uniform is mandatory for the riding event. 3. ADDITIONAL REQUIRED ITEMS 1. National Anthem (CD/USB drive) 2. National flag (according to regulation C): 3. Riding skill video of the appointed athletes by UIPM must be send after the Final Entry (according to 2018 UIPM regulation). 5. The Hungarian Defense Forces and the Modern Pentathlon CSC will conduct a scientific research with all athletes during the 46th World Military Modern Pentathlon Championship. We would like to have all teams taking part of this step forward in Modern Pentathlon. 4. ENTRY FORMS DEADLINES Preliminary Agreement (Annex 1) 01 JUNE 2018 Final Entry (Annex 2A,B, C.D) 20 AUGUST 2018 The participating mission should inform both valid phone and fax numbers in the Preliminary agreement form, as well as their address in case of the organizing committee needs to get in contact. All names mentioned in agreements and in any forms, must be written in Latin letters as stated in the passport.
