2 2 World Youth Championships 2012 : Bulletin 2 This is the second bulletin for the World Youth Championship Enclosed is more information about the coming Championships. There will be more detailed information on our web pages, which are in address From those pages you can also download the forms in.doc format, so you can fill the forms electronically and them to us. The deadline for the entry for the Championships is drawing near. We urge you to send your entry form A and Hotel reservation form B as soon as possible. The ultimate deadline for these forms A is March 30, 2012 and forms B is April 30, WTBA has nominated Dr. Danny Santos as Tournament Director and Marios Nicolaides as Technical Delegate. 7 7 Official Invitation and Entry Official Invitation and Entry We are pleased to confirm that up to the issue of this Bulletin we have received confirmation from the following federations that they intended sending teams to participate in the World Tenpin Bowling Championship for 12 th World Youth Championship PABCON: ETBF: ABF: USA Catalonia, Germany, Israel, Scotland, Sweden, Iceland and Switzerland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Singapore Federations that intended to participate in the championships and have not submitted their reply slips (Form A) are requested to do so as soon as possible to assist us in facilitating preparation of the championships. Please return Form A even if your federation does not intend to participate in the World Tenpin Bowling Championship for 12 th World Youth Championship. We would like to remind all WTBA Member Federations that only federations who are current paid up members of FIQ, WTBA and Zones are allowed to participate in the championship. Eligibility To participate in WYC 2012 the players must be born 1 January 1991 to 31 December 1998

Various facilities and services Website Various information related to the WYC 2012 is available at worldyouth2012.com including all necessary information and furthermore hosting the result service during the championships. Press area One meeting room will be used for the press; all connected through the internal network in the centre and with access to results at the Internet. We expect to be able to provide space and capacity for about 30 press officials. All press officials will be connected through a wireless network. They will have access to the Internet free of charge. We expect the press officials to bring their laptops. A refreshment service in form of coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available for all accredited press officialsfree of charge. Press conferences We will provide sufficient space for press conferences after the conclusion of each discipline and in other situations, when necessary. Result services The latest technology will be in use both for the present press officials and in relation to accumulation and presentation of scores and standings. Bus services All delegations of the championships will be met in Suvarnabhumi a Airport and in conjunction with departures a similar delivery service will be provided. A bus service for the official hotel Bowling hotel will be provided for all players, coaches, officials, Presidium members with an official entry throughout the whole duration of the championships. In addition there will be mini buses available for various special situations. Equipment storage Ball park in the bowling centre will be used to store the equipment. There will be an easy and short distance from ball park to the lanes. Farewell Banquet The Banquet will be held in July 3 in the evening in Centrala Grand at Central World.

Various fees WYC 2012 Entry Fee The WYC 2010 Entry Fee is U$D 250 This fee is payable for all delegations, including players, coaches, managers, head of delegations and other officials connected to each team. The Entry Fee includes the delegation fee to WTBA. WYC 2010 Supporters Fee The WYC 2010 Supporters Fee is U$D 200 This fee is for additional guests arriving with the teams. The fee covers opening ceremony and the farewell banquet and no charge for entrance to the bowling centre. 15 15 6. Forms and deadlines Attached to this bulletin are the first two forms related to the WYC 2012; the WYC 2012 Entry Form and the Hotel Form. Please pay attention to the following deadlines Form A: WYC 2012 Entry Form The deadline for the Entry Form to be submitted is March 30 th, Please be strictly of the deadline so it will help us to have a good planned Championship with the stable schedules. The registration after the deadline have to made accept ion by tournament director case by case. Form B: Hotel Form The deadline for the Hotel Form to be submitted is April 30 th, Federations sending their forms later than Friday April 30 th can not expect to be accommodated at the official hotel or expect the special hotel rates and will not be able to benefit of the provided bus service during the championships. In any case there will be no bus service for federations choosing to accommodate their delegations at other hotels than the official hotels. Please respect the two deadlines above We are hoping for your understanding in the necessity of enforcing these deadlines. It is in all aspects for the benefit of the teams and all present officials that we are as well prepared as possible.
