2 About Maintenance Mania Maintenance Mania is a national program offered by NAA and presenting sponsor HD Supply (HDS), in which maintenance technicians compete against each other in various skill-based games. Each NAA local affiliate has the opportunity to have their maintenance technicians compete individually to win various local awards and a chance to compete at the National Championship held at the annual NAA Education Conference & Exposition. Participants do not need to be association members to compete in the games, but to qualify to compete at the National Championship, they must be affiliated and in good standing with their local association. Members interested in qualifying for the National Championship must register as competitors in the National Championship Qualifying Program with their local affiliate. At the end of the competition year, NAA will offer the top participant from each of the NAA regions, plus 10 wild card participants, the chance to compete in the National Championship. The affiliate also can give the competing individuals various awards at a local level. It is up to the affiliate to decide how they will distribute awards to the winners at their event. Sponsorship guarantees your company as the sole National Manufacturer Sponsor of a game at each local event as well as at the National Championship. Each game is tailored to promote our sponsors brands and products by testing the technical proficiency of maintenance professionals at tasks they perform regularly for their community s residents. 7 Terms & Conditions Maintenance Mania Sponsorship Terms & Conditions NAA has instituted the following policies for sponsorship opportunities with the season of its Maintenance Mania program. The sponsor agrees that these policies are considered binding and agrees to adhere to these policies in order to secure a sponsorship. Upon submitting the Sponsorship Agreement to NAA, the sponsor agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions. NAA shall mean the National Apartment Association, which owns, produces and manages Maintenance Mania. The initial term of the Agreement shall commence on August 1, 2014 and terminates with the competition at the 2015 NAA National Championship June 30, Unless terminated earlier, this Agreement automatically renews for an additional one-year period unless at least a 90-days in advance written notice. Payment is due in full on time, according to the above schedule. Sponsor understands and agrees that no monies will be refunded if sponsorship is terminated prior to the end of the agreement period and sponsor will be required to pay any balance due. Sponsors MUST be a member in good standing with NAA through its affiliate network, or directly, if applicable. All sponsors must also be a National Supplier Council (NSC) member. NAA must approve all sponsorship recognition including, but not limited to, signage, handouts and giveaways. Each sponsor agrees to submit their company logo to NAA at the time of commitment. Preferred file format is 3 x 3 EPS and JPEG file. Logos can only contain one company name. If a new logo is submitted to NAA after the original is received, NAA will make every effort to update all program materials moving forward but cannot make any guarantees. Sponsorship deadline in March 31, Sponsors will not be accepted after the deadline. All sponsors must comply with the rules and guidelines set forth for the NAA Education Conference & Exposition.
