2 TO ALL ARCHERY FEDERATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS WORLD ARCHERY MEMBERS Dear Members; The Executive Committee of the Asociación Deportiva Nacional de Tiro con Arco de Guatemala is honored to extend this invitation to participate in the World Archery Ranking Tournament to be held in Guatemala City. This event will also serve as a continental qualifier for Youth Olympic Games, Buenos Aires 2018, and will be held on May in Guatemala City. This tournament will be organized and run according to World Archery rules for the two divisions. This document also includes all the information regarding registration and participation. You are kindly asked to observe the deadlines for each stage of registration and contact the organizers at asociacion.archery@gmail.com to send the accommodation and transportation forms. 4 Reservations and Meals The official hotel for the World Archery Ranking Tournament, Guatemala City, 2018 will be Las Américas Hotel. The LOC will provide transportation just from and to the official hotel (airport and archery venue). The cost for transportation and meals (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) are included in the lodging amount. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the official hotel, and lunch at the archery venue. Lunches at the hotel are not included in the indicated amount above, and will cost USD $26.00 each. 5 Preliminary and Final Registration: All registration process must be completed using the World Archery Online Registration System, WAREOS. In order to use WAREOS, please log in on with your Username and Password assigned by World Archery going to Online Registration. Please pay attention to the stated deadlines. Teams will not be able to enter or update their data in WAREOS after deadlines, as the system will be blocked. Final Entries processed after the deadline will result in a penalty fee of USD $50 per athlete to be paid to the LOC upon arrival. At the time of registration, all delegations should send a picture (Passport size) of each member for their accreditation. Teams who book their own accommodation (unofficial hotel) must paid USD per athlete and USD per official/coach for registration fee. CATEGORIES: The competition will be open to all categories, both divisions (recurve/compound): Master Sénior Junior Cadet Continental Qualifier for the Youth Olympic Games A maximum of three archers per country will be allowed to enter the special competition to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games in each gender. Only archers born in 2001, 2002 and 2003 can take part in this qualifier.
