Selectin Scres Archers are eligible fr cnsideratin prvided: They are an Archery GB member in gd standing Have satisfied all eligibility under the rules f Wrld Archery (WA) and subject t any changes it may intrduce subsequent t the publicatin f this plicy Are available fr selectin f the stated event Are fit and healthy t cmpete Hld a current full UK passprt, valid fr at least 6 mnths after return date f the event Have met the required selectin scres identified in sectin 4 f this plicy Archery GB (AGB) will use the Eurpean Grand Prix in Italy and the Czech Republic as develpmental perfrmance events in line with ur Tky Strategic Plan. AGB have engaged with the Wrld Class Prgramme athletes t set minimum selectin scres against which athletes will be invited int the selectin prcess fr the Eurpean Champinships. Selectin Sht A selectin sht will nly be necessary if there are mre athletes btaining the selectin scres (sectin 4) than there are places in each categry (sectin 1) Thse athletes attaining the selectin scres in the timeline identified in sectin 5 will prceed t the selectin sht which will be in the fllwing frmat: AM: PM Rund rbin head t heads t rank athletes - 3 arrws in 2 minutes frmat. 2-pint win bnus awarded t winner f each match. Cumulative scre f the Head t Heads including win bnus (based n 12 arrw average match scres fr recurves) will seed the athletes. A categry with mre than 4 athletes will be cut t the tp 4 at the end f the sessin. Alternate shting knck ut matches, semi-finals and finals. The final finishing places will decide wh wins the invite t the event. Fr example, if there is ne place at the event available, an athlete wuld need t win the semi-final match, prceed t the final and then win that final t be awarded that spt. If there were tw spts available fr the event, an athlete wuld need t win the semi-final t be awarded the spt. The final, gld medal match, may be deemed unnecessary. If there are three archers cmpeting fr 2 places, as per Wrld Archery rules, the archer seeded first autmatically wins the first place and the archers seeded secnd and third sht ff fr the remaining place. If there are three archers cmpeting fr ne place, as per Wrld Archery rules, the archers ranked secnd and third sht their semi-final and the

4 winner f that match then shts against the first ranked archer fr the place available. Athletes will nt be required t prvide agents fr the selectin shts. 7. Selectin Team ratificatin will take place within 72 hurs f the nminated date f the selectin sht, whether a selectin sht is needed r nt. 8. Wildcards If the stated number f athletes (sectin 1) r fewer athletes have btained the required selectin scres at the identified cut-ff date (sectin 5); and thse athletes meet all ther eligibility criteria, they will autmatically be selected. A selectin panel meeting may still be required t ratify selected athletes and / r determine whether any wildcard(s) will be nminated. These can be given ut t any athlete at the prgrammes discretin n a needs led basis, but will nt be at the expense f athletes wh have wn spts thrugh the selectin sht. Nminatin and Selectin Panel Fllwing the cmpletin f the designated selectin prcess listed in this plicy, the Directr f Sprt will cnsult with caching, supprt staff, apprpriate Perfrmance staff and an independent bserver, and take int accunt any relevant input deemed necessary t discuss the nminatin f the athletes, befre cnfirming selectin t the Team. 10. The Team The Team means the team which is selected by Archery GB which includes athletes, caches, nminated reserves (if applicable), medical supprt persnnel, team leaders and any assciated members f the Wrld Class Prgramme team. 11. Appeals Any selectin appeal must be registered in line with the prcess identified in the Fllwing the cnclusin f the selectin prcess. 1. Once athletes and ther Team members have been advised f their selectin by the Directr f Sprt / Paralympic Perfrmance Manager, they (including any reserve(s)) must agree nt t withhld any infrmatin n availability, fitness, injury status r illness that culd affect their training r cmpetitiveness at any time until the cnclusin f the event; 2. All selected athletes must declare any medicatins they are taking, in particular the use f any restricted medicatins and that they hld a valid Therapeutic Use Exemptin (TUE) which can be prduced when required by the relevant authrity; 3. An athlete and ther Team members will be required t sign up t the relevant Cde f Cnduct r Athlete Agreement and any breach f this may result in disciplinary actin including remval frm the team and pssible early return hme frm an event. In this case any member sent hme will be inviced fr the full cst f their entry int the event and any additinal cst incurred in sending them hme. Decisins n these matters are pen t appeal as allwed by the relevant Archery GB Disciplinary prcess effective at the time f the incident. 4. Athletes and ther Team members selected, are required t attend all related training camps and cmpetitins as laid ut by the Directr f Sprt and caching team, frm the selectin annuncement nwards. 5. Athletes and ther Team members will be expected t demnstrate they can actively cntribute t the team unity required t be a successful internatinal team.

Annuncement Selected team members must agree nt t make any annuncement t the media r public in any frm (including n any scial r ther media) regarding their selectin until after Archery GB have annunced the selectin n the Archery GB web site Any matters nt cvered by this Plicy Any matters arising frm the selectin prcesses, which are nt cvered within this plicy, shall be determined by the Directr f Sprt (r representative theref) acting at their sle discretin.
