1 BULLETIN #1 August 23 rd to 26 th 2018 in Oslo, Norway WELCOME The Norwegian Shooting Association has the honour to invite all member federations of the Nordic Shooting Region to participate in the Nordic Junior & Senior Shooting Championships in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun (Nordic Trap included), and Running Target. The Championships will be organised August 23 rd to 26 th 2018 in the Oslo area, Norway. Only shooters and teams from the member federations of the NSR may compete for the titles "Nordic Junior Champion and "Nordic Champion (General Rules 5.1 and 5.4.1). Information to the shooters and team leaders: ACCOMODATION Scandic Hotel Fornebu, Martin Linges vei 2, Fornebu Room/breakfast standard single room per person EURO 77.- Room/breakfast standard double room per person EURO 54.- Room/breakfast standard triple room per person EURO 44.- Room/breakfast standard four bed room per person EURO 39.- All hotel reservations must be done at the latest 30 th June, after this date we can only make reservations if rooms are available. Reservations are binding and all payments for rooms must be made in advance to the organizing committee after our confirming of the reservation. Invoice for hotel reservations will be sent to each nation as soon as possible after the deadline for final hotel reservation 30 th June. 2 CUSTOM CLEARANCE Shooters arriving to Norway needs European firearms passport. European Firearm passport is not necessary for air weapons. TRANSPORTATION Transport arrangement will be made when required for participants arriving with flight to Oslo Airport as well as arrangement for shuttle transport between the hotel and the shooting ranges. The transportation fee from Oslo Airport Gardermoen is 20 EURO per person (two ways). The shuttle transport from the hotel to the shooting ranges is 20 EURO pr person (from Thursday to Sunday). A Travel form D will be sent out together with bulletin 2. All transport reservation is binding and must be made no later than June 30 th. ENTRY FEES JUNIOR: 100 per person per event to be paid together with the return of Entry Form A. Late entries 120 per person. SENIOR: 80 per person per event to be paid together with the return of Entry Form A. Late entries 100 per person. Mixed team, 80 per team (both for junior-team and for senior-team). Payment Entry fees Entry Fee per person per event is to be paid together with the return of Preliminary Entry Form A. Entry fees are non-refundable (General Rules 7.1) and must be paid together with the return of Preliminary Entry Form A. Invoice for the entry fee will be sent to each nation as soon as possible after 23 April and must be paid no later than 10. May. Payments for accommodation, transport fee, lunch and banquet Payment must be transferred in EURO. Payment must cover all accommodation, transport fee, lunch and banquet. Payment must be made after our confirming of the reservation, not later than 15 th July Each nation will receive an invoice for the accommodation, transport fee and banquet, and must be paid not later than 15 th July. 2

3 BANQUET Saturday evening, a banquet will be arranged at Scandic Hotel Fornebu. Further information will be given in Bulletin 2. Tickets for banquet must be ordered in FINAL ENTRY FORM B-OFFICIALS. Tickets costs 27 pr person. CATERING Lunch will be served at the shooting ranges and must be ordered and prepaid. Lunch must be ordered in the Final Entry Form B-Officials. 5 MIXED TEAM EVENTS, JUNIOR & SENIOR For 10m Air Pistol and 10m Air Rifle the 40 first shots in the qualification will count as qualification for the Mixed team final. It is the five (5) best teams that is qualified for the Mixed team final. Each nation may enter a maximum of 3 teams consisting of one (1) man and one (1) woman per mixed team event. Mixed Team Trap and Mixed Team Skeet will be conducted as for the ISSF/ESC rules, except that each nation may enter a maximum of 3 teams consisting of one (1) man and one (1) woman per mixed team event. Skeet mixed team rules: Trap mixed team rules: According to the ISSF rules (9.19). STORAGE OF WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION Storage of guns and ammunition will be arranged at Løvenskiold shooting range. Storage of Air weapons at the hotel. MEDALS AND MEDAL CEREMONY Awarding ceremonies will take place Friday and Saturday evening at Scandic Hotel Fornebu. On Sunday at shooting ranges. Nordic Shooting Region special medals will be awarded to the Champion (gold), the shooter who places second (silver) and the shooter who places third (bronze) in each event in the program. Medals are awarded to individual shooters only if a minimum of six shooters participate. The winning team in each event will be awarded gold medals, one medal to each member of the team. Medals are not issued to teams if there are two or less teams competing. (Gen. Rules ) JURIES Juries shall be formed from all participating federations. Participating federations shall be bound to contribute a minimum of 5 Jury Members, at national federations expense, to advise, supervise and assist where necessary, the Organizing Committee. All Jury Members should be 5

6 ISSF License holders. Shooters and Team Officials must not be members of a Jury. (General Rules ) Nomination of Jury Members must be given in form E not later than June 30 th. The organization has pre-booked a number of single rooms for Jury Members and Technical Delegate at Scandic Hotel Fornebu.
