1 Sponsorship Opportunities The USA Track & Field National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship is coming to Albuquerque in December Cross Country first made an Olympic appearance in the early 1900's and today thousands of young people participate in the finest youth distance-development program in the nation. USATF seeks to foster healthy living: proper nutrition and an active lifestyle. From an organizational perspective, USATF has been one of the greatest financial success stories in the sport of running, more than doubling its overall revenues since The organization currently has an impressive line-up of national sponsors, and come December, you will have the opportunity to join their ranks. During the first week of December, more than 3000 athletes, their parents & families, will travel to Albuquerque in their quest to be the best runners in the nation. Race day: December 8, Balloon Fiesta Park. This prestigious event returns to the Land of Enchantment, selected for its attractive yet challenging venue and the ability of the city & transit systems to accommodate the large numbers of athletes & spectators. USATF is looking to partner with New Mexico businesses to support the youth of this state and the local economy. The 2012 National Cross Country Championship will receive national media coverage and your corporate sponsorship ensures that events like this will continue to come to Albuquerque. 2 PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP The Platinum Sponsorship is the highest level local sponsorship available.
