Athletes can compete in 1 category only. Graduation: Membership: Cadets must hold at least 4th Geup Juniors must hold at least 2nd Geup Seniors must hold at least 2nd Geup An approved 2018 WT Global License (WT Global Athlete License or Global Official License) is required for all athletes and officials who wish to register for the 2018 G-1 Riga Open. WT Global License registrations and renewals can only be made through the WT recognized Member National Associations and application should be made at least 2 months before the Tournament starts to ensure the WT license can be processed and approved in time. There will be NO WT Global License registration onsite.

Seniors: 3x2min (1min break). Juniors and Cadets: 3x1.5min (30sec break). The Organization Committee and WT Technical Delegate can decide to adjust the competition. 1 st, 2 nd, and two 3 rd places will be awarded. Seeding of senior athletes will be based on WT World Ranking published in October WT-recognized PSS and E-head protector will be provided for all competitors. All contestants must bring their own WT-recognized equipment - groin-, forearm-, shin-, mouthpiece, gloves and sensor socks (compulsory). Some of the athletes will be randomly chosen to undergo a doping test. Only the competitors and their coaches with valid accreditation will have admittance to the contest area. Only the official coach is allowed to protest, immediately after the end of the contest. An amount of 150 will have to be paid for each protest. The protest amount will not be refunded in any case. The decision of the referee chairman is final. All competitors participate at their own risk. Latvian Taekwondo Federation and the organizers of the event shall not accept responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses sustained or incurred. Those who are not recognized as adults (underaged) by law in their own country must submit a passport or identification card together with a written consent (liability declaration, attachment 1) at registration signed by parents or lawful guardians, accepting the participation and all parts of the official invitation.

The participants completing their registration and payment during this period will be charged the regular registration fee: 80 per athlete. Late registration fee Late entry fee period will end on September 30 th 2018 at 11:59PM (Latvian time). The participants completing their registration and payment during this period will be charged the late registration fee: 100 per athlete. The Organizing Committee will collect the entry fees from the participating teams by bank transfer/cash during the registartion only in euro. Payment must be made to the bank details stated below. Entry fees are obligated at all times. There will be no refund if a registered competitor fails to show up for the competition. In case of no show and no paymen in advance, the invoice will be send to the team after the tournament. In case of no payment, the team will be excluded from future participation until all debts are paid. Registrations are only valid when payments have been received and can be confirmed by the Bank and the Organizer. Athletes will not be allowed to compete without successful payment of entry fee to the Organizing Committee.

ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORTATION Information: Transportation: Prices: Booking: Booking deadline: For all the modifications that could be made after the deadline, an administration fee of 20 will be charged. This must be paid in cash onsite at the registration. After attending the official weigh-in no further weight division modifications will be made. Extra coach passes can be requested separately for 20 for each individual coach. Coaches need WT GMS number and (if applicable) continental coach licence. Please note that only 1 competitor and 1 coach can enter the competition area. National teams are allowed to have following accreditations: 2 MNA officials, 1 official doctor (not second coach), 1 coach. Club teams can only register coach accreditations. All other accreditations are not allowed. Please not that for every 5 competitors 1 coach is granted free admission. We offer City Hotel Teater as an official hotel of the event. It is located in a central part of Riga, just 11km from Riga Airport (RIX), 3km from bus station and only 500m from the venue. We will provide free airport-hotel-airport transportation for those who book the official hotel via Organizing Committee. Accommodation must be paid before September 16 th. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after September 16 th will be fined 50% of the total hotel reservation cost. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after September 23 th will be fined 100% of the total hotel reservation cost. Payment must be done per team or club.

6 7. INTERNATIONAL REFEREES 8. VISA Accommodation from October 5 th (check-in 14:00) untill October 8 th (check-out 12:00) will be covered by the Organizing Committee. All teams who need visa invitation should fill in attachment 2 and send it to Latvian Taekwondo Federation (ltkf@inbox.lv). More information about visa requirements: 9. OTHER First Aid: Insurance: Video Recording: Will be provided by the organization and is only to be used in case of an emergency. The organization and supervisor assume no responsibility for teams, any damages, violence, losses and injuries during the stay in Latvia. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Latvia. If not, this must be paid in cash. Recording within the competition area is not allowed. Recording from the public stands is only allowed for handycam-type cameras. All the tournament visitors and participants agree to be videorecorded or photographed and agree that this video or photo material may be used by the Organizing Committee on public websites and/or social media.
