2 MATCH INFO Cross Timbers IDPA is hosting 2012 Lone Star IDPA Championship on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Spartan Tactical Range Complex in Jacksboro, Texas. The Lone Star IDPA Championship is a sanctioned IDPA match, all current IDPA competition and equipment rules will be enforced This match is open to IDPA members with current classification of Marksman or above. The match will consist of 10 stages with a minimum round count of 150 rounds. Trophies will be awarded based on IDPA rules in all IDPA divisions and classifications. The match fee includes lunch on match day and all applicable range fees. This will be a lost-brass match. SQUADS Open squadding will be used for this match. Squads will each start on an assigned stage, after the stage is complete competitors may shoot remaining stages in any order. At the start signal, draw and engage T1 T8 with 2 rounds each and S1 with 1 round. N/A Standards At the start signal engage three targets with weak hand, then engage three targets with strong hand, and three targets freestyle, with 2 rounds each. Target arrays may be engaged in any order. Shooters choice on strong hand / free style engagement sequence. 6 STAGE 4 FLOPPER Standing, centered on wall, hands naturally at sides, gun loaded to division capacity and holstered You are standing near a fence when you realize gang members are approaching you from separate sides of the fence. At the signal draw and engage paper targets in tactical priority on one side of the wall with 3 rounds each. 7 STAGE 5 AIRPLANE Seated in back row aisle seat (left or right side) hands interlaced behind head, gun loaded to division capacity and holstered You are flying back to DFW on a chartered 737 when you realize 5 of the people on board have other intentions. At the start signal, stand, draw and engage T1 T5 with 3 rounds each in tactical sequence. 8 STAGE 6 ONE SHOT Standing hands naturally at sides at P1, gun loaded to division capacity and holstered You are shopping at your local big box garden mart when the chaos starts. A flash mob is committing aggravated robbery, you have to fight your way out of the store. At the signal, From P1 draw and engage T1 T2 with 1 round each. Move to P2 and engage T3 T8 and S1 S2 in tactical priority in tactical priority with 1 round each. At P3 engage T9 T11 and S3 in tactical priority with 1 round each. 9 STAGE 7 TETHERED Standing hands at side, wearing fall harness, gun loaded to division capacity and holstered. You are working as a roofing contractor, tethered to a safety line and you notice a robbery occurring in the parking lot. Your co workers ran to the wall edge and were yelling at the robbers the robbers are firing at your co workers and you are left with no choice but to engage the robbers through the roof opening between your co workers. At the signal, draw and engage T1 T5 through the opening in the roof façade, in tactical priority with 3 rounds each. 10 STAGE 8 CORNERED Standing hands naturally at sides, facing up range at P1, gun loaded to division capacity and holstered You are standing at the bus stop at the wind break, when you notice a gang of hooligans, with weapons drawn intent on doing you or yours bodily harm, approaches from across the street. At the signal, draw engage T1 T6 and S1 tactical priority with 2 rounds each. You are overrun by a group of feral hogs, and two wood chucks, who are tearing up your garden. Your beagles are chasing after the hogs, be careful not to shoot your own dogs. While out looking for firewood your wife was grabbed by the pot growers. The pot growers are not happy with you discovering their location, and have come to back to your camp with their trained timber wolves to make sure their secret is safe At the signal, draw and engage T1 T5 tactical sequence with 3 rounds each. None At the signal engage S1 S8 with 1 rounds each. : Vickers Count, 8 rounds TARGETS: 0 threat, 0 non threat, 8 steel (10yds) SCORED HITS: All steel must fall RULES: Side Match Rules Cover Garment not required SIDE MATCH RULES AND CONDITIONS The side matches are open to anyone, regardless of whether or not they are a main match competitor. The Polish Plate Rack side match will have a Cash Payback to the 3 Finalists, in order of placement, 50%, 35%, 15%. The total cash payback will be half of all entry proceeds for the plate rack side match. The fee for Plate Rack Match events is $5 for 1 run and $10 for 3 runs. Competitors can run as many pre-final runs as they want to. The best 3 times recorded will be deemed the 1st-3rd Place winners. The BUG side match will be Best Single Run (by classification) on the BUG Match, competitors will compete ONLY against the shooters in their class for a trophy. Cost will be $5 per run.
