3 1. Uniform and Equipment For our NATORusso Series events we have two primary factions. NATO Forces and the Russian Forces or RUSFOR. Other events may have a 3rd faction or NPF (Non Player Faction). We will specify if that is the case. a. NATO Forces For Broken Arrow Events, NATO Forces represent the US and its NATO Allies (Germany, United Kingdom, France etc.). We primarily want participants to use one kind of camouflage for their uniform, Multicam. We do allow others as listed below. i. Uniform Restrictions Multicam, DCU Tricolor, ACU, Flat Tan (please inquire about other patterns) Not Allowed Uniform Any Russian camouflage Woodland M81 or similar Green based camouflage (Flecktarn, CCE, etc.) *If you bring a squad of 6 or more we will allow participants with certain uniforms. ii. Equipment Restrictions Plate Carrier (Please Tan or Green colored, no black; Non-Russian) Load Bearing Equipment or Harness. (Non-Russian) Rucksack (Overnight Events. Military or commercial, no bright colors) 2

4 b. RUSFOR RUSFOR uniforms have a lot of variety. From Mountain Flora to Summer Partizan to Gorka. The only guideline we have is to keep your uniform somewhat modern. Also, patterns copied from NATO countries used in the last 15 years are not allowed. i. Uniform Restrictions Standard Russian Camo - Digital Flora, Partizan, Seefra, Gorka, Mountain Flora, SS Leto (No patterns copied from NATO countries used in the last 15 years.) M81 Woodland or Flat Green is accepted in some cases. Will be specified on the event page. When in doubt ask us. ii. 5 US style weapons only (AR variant /SCAR/ M249/ M240/ M60/ M40/ SR25/ M14s) No Captured Weapons b. RUSFOR Russian/Soviet weapons system only (AK /SVD /PKM /RPK /AS Val /VSS). No Captured Weapons c. FPS, ROF, Magazine Rules FPS Rules in effect: Rifle or Machine Gun feet per second with.25g BB Sniper Rifle (Semi-Auto only or Bolt Action)* feet per second with.25g BB 100 foot engagement limit, if close must back away or use sidearm Rate of Fire Rules: Full Auto is permitted No Full Auto inside buildings Bang-Bang rule from 10ft is a courtesy; it may not be accepted aim low and avoid the face please Magazine Rules: Mid-Cap Magazines ONLY If a Hi-Cap is all that is available; you are not allowed to wind the magazine as it is loaded in a weapon. If caught winding in the weapon you will be considered KIA. Box or Drum magazines are reserved for Machine Guns 4

6 d. Grenades, Rockets and Ordinance Hand Grenades: All grenades have a 15ft kill radius. Thunder Bs, Pea Grenades and similar are considered grenades. Soft or no cover does not protect you from the kill radius. Be honest. 40mm Grenades: Must be fired from an appropriate grenade launcher or LAW (M79). All grenades have a 15ft kill radius. Soft or no over does not protect you from the kill radius. Vehicles may be taken out with 40mm taggin rounds. Shower shells do not count. Land Mines or IEDs: All mines or traps have a 15ft radius. Any noise or bb explosion type mine counts. Homemade devices must be approved by staff before use. 5

7 3. Vehicle Regulations Vehicle Guidelines: All vehicle crews must wear proper eyepro. Vehicles must also adhere to the era standards we have emplaced. Vehicles are part of the bigger picture. Owners and crews are not permitted to operate on their own accord. They will be under their sides command. Each vehicle is required to have a driver in the driver s seat at all times during operation of said vehicle. Disabling Vehicles: A vehicle is destroyed by being hit with a rocket, 40mm grenade or other staff approved device. Participants are permitted to fire at the vehicles. Passengers and drivers can be hit and must follow the medic rules. If a driver is hit the vehicle must stop in place. When a vehicle is hit: Like their human counterparts, vehicles have a respawn ruling. When the vehicle is considered destroyed it must return to the GI Firebase for repair or replacement. The staff will provide instruction during the event for the respawn time and it will be time of judgment. When you were in the vehicle as it was destroyed: Exit the vehicle if you are not the driver Act out your wound If all passengers are KIA then head to respawn with the vehicle 6

8 4. Medic Rules Each participant is required to bring a tourniquet or bandage for the event. Qualifying bandages are the MSW Tourniquet, BAE Tourniquet or a simple bandage made from fabric. Each participant will be issued ONE 8oz water bottle. These are small enough to fit in a pocket or in one of the smaller pouches any LBE may have. This is considered your JFAK, blood expander or IV bottle for the event. Hit/Medic Rules: A hit to any part of your body counts as a hit. Weapons in hand or rucksacks do not count. A slinged weapon is part of your body. No shielding BBs with your ruck or weapon. Headshots count as KIA. You may speak while wounded but expect to still be shot at. When HIT: A BB hits you for the first time- 1. Act out your hit minute injury time. You cannot receive medical treatment yet. You can be moved. 3. After 3 minutes injury time you can be buddy treated using a bandage, MSW Tourniquet, BAE Tourniquet or similar. If you are not treated 5 minutes of bleed out time you are considered KIA and must respawn. 4. Once patched up you are ready to go back into action 7

9 A BB hits you for the second time- 1. Act out your hit. 2. You will need to stay in place for 3 minutes. 3. Scream for a medic. The medic will then take your issued JFAK and treat you by administering aid (You drinking the 8oz bottle.) Keep the bottle. If you aren t treated within 5 minutes by a medic you are considered KIA. A BB hits you for the third time- 1. Act KIA. 2. You will need to stay in place for 3 minutes. 3. Get up and return to base. 4. Refill your medic bottle with the water supply provided by staff. 5. Remove the bandage. Return to the action. 8
