1 ALL FIREARMS MUST BE PROPERLY ZIP TIED TO RENDER THEM INOPERABLE ALL MAGAZINES AND CLIPS MUST BE REMOVED AND KEPT SEPARATED FROM THE WEAPON TO ENSURE YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY AND THAT OF OUR PATRONS, WE REQUIRE THAT ALL WEAPONS OFFERED FOR SALE BE PROPERLY ZIP TIED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION PRIOR TO THE GUN BEING PUT ON PUBLIC DISPLAY. PRIOR TO DISPLAYING A WEAPON MAKE SURE THE ACTION IS CLEARED OF ALL AMMUNITION, POWDER, CAPS OR FLINTS. IF YOU REMOVE ZIP TIES TO ALLOW A PATRON TO INSPECT A WEAPON, YOU MUST PERSONALLY INSPECT THE WEAPON, MAKE SURE THE ACTION IS CLEAR AND REMAIN WITH THE WEAPON UNTIL YOU RENDER IT INOPERABLE AGAIN. MAGAZINES AND CLIPS ARE NOT TO BE DISPLAYED WITH THE WEAPON, BUT MUST BE PLACED IN THE WEAPONS BOX, BAGGED USING THE SAME METHOD AS LOOSE AMMUNITION OR KEPT IN A LOCATION OUT OF REACH OF THE PUBLIC. THE FOLLOWING EXAMPLES OF ZIP TYING A WEAPON ARE MEANT TO BE EXAMPLES AND BY NO MEANS REPRESENTS ALL WEAPONS THAT ARE MANUFACTURED OR AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. IF THERE IS A QUESTION ABOUT THE PROPER ZIP TYING METHOD FOR A PARTICULAR WEAPON YOU SHOULD ASK GUNSMOKE GUN SHOW FLOOR SECURITY TO APPROVE THE METHOD OF ZIP TYING PRIOR TO PLACING IT ON PUBLIC DISPLAY. SEMI-AUTO PISTOL SEMI-AUTO PISTOLS MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE BARREL AND OUT OF THE EJECTOR PORT. One 11 tie will do up to a 4 barrel length, but two will be required to be connected together to do longer barrel lengths.

2 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE LOADING GATE AND WRAPPED AROUND THE HAMMER. The cylinder must be cleared prior to zip tying.

3 DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVERS MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE CYLIINDER AND WRAPPED AROUND THE HAMMER. The cylinder must be cleared prior to zip tying.

4 BLACK POWDER REVOLVER BLACK POWDER REVOLVERS MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE FRAME IN FRONT OF THE CYLIINDER AND WRAPPED AROUND THE HAMMER. The cylinder must be cleared of all caps prior to zip tying. BLACK POWDER PISTOL- PERCUSSION CAP BLACK POWDER PISTOL MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE TRIGGER GUARD IN FRONT OF THE TRIGGER, FULLY AROUND THE WEAPON AND WRAPPED OVER THE HAMMER. The barrel must be cleared and the cap removed prior to zip tying.

5 BLACK POWDER PISTOL- FLINT BLACK POWDER PISTOL MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN AROUND THE FRONT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD AND FULLY AROUND THE COCK AND FRIZZEN. The barrel must be cleared and the flint removed prior to zip tying to prevent any sparks from the weapon.

6 BOLT ACTION RIFLE BOLT ACTION RIFLES MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH AND AROUND THE FRONT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD AND DOUBLE WRAPPED AROUND THE BOLT. The chamber must be cleared prior to zip tying the weapon. Smooth style bolts that don t have a knob to hold the zip tie will require that the zip tie be wrapped around the trigger guard, completely around the weapon and then double wrapped around the bolt to prevent the zip tie from being slipped from the bolt. BOLT ACTION RIFLE (BOLT REMOVED) BOLT ACTION RIFLES THAT HAVE THE BOLT REMOVED MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH AND AROUND THE BRIDGE OF THE WEAPON TO PREVENT A BOLT FROM BEING INSTALLED. The chamber must be cleared prior to zip tying the weapon.

7 LEVER ACTION RIFLE LEVER ACTION RIFLES MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE LEVER, AROUND THE BUTT STOCK AND IN FRONT OF THE HAMMER TO KEEP THE HAMMER FROM BEING DROPPED. HAMMERLESS LEVER ACTION RIFLES, OR THOSE WHICH HAVE A SMOOTH HAMMER THAT WILL NOT PREVENT A ZIP TIE FROM SLIPPING OVER IT, MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE LEVER AND AROUND THE BUTT STOCK TO PREVENT THE LEVER FROM OPENING THE ACTION. The chamber must be cleared prior to zip tying the weapon.

8 SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUNS MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE LOADING GATE AND OUT THE ACTION TO PREVENT A SHELL FROM BEING INSTALLED. The chamber must be cleared prior to zip tying the weapon.

9 BREAK OPEN DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN BREAK OPEN SHOTGUNS MUST HAVE THE ZIP TIE RUN THROUGH THE TRIGGER GUARD BEHIND THE TRIGGER AND THEN UP THROUGH RECEIVER AND AROUND THE WEAPON TO PREVENT THE BARREL FROM BEING RETURNED TO THE FULLY LOCKED POSITION. A SECOND ZIP TIE SHOULD BE USED TO WRAP THE RECEIVER AND BARRELS TO PREVENT THE WEAPON FROM FALLING OPEN IF STORED IN A DOUBLE BACKED DISPLAY RACK. THIS IS TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO THE WEAPONS AND IS NOT REQUIRED TO RENDER THE WEAPON INOPERABLE. The chamber must be cleared prior to zip tying the weapon.
