There is NO restriction on the number of Advanced or Master-rated players that may play in a round. Mens 8-Ball Standard May 16-NOON to May 19 5-person Men s/mixed Standard teams from the same ACS-sanctioned league must be composed of at least three original players (8 weeks) from their same local league team. Two or more eligible players may come from other teams within the League Operator s sanctioned system. Maximum one Open-caliber player on team. No Advanced or Masters! Singles and Scotch Doubles Check-In is not required but is encouraged in order to claim Player Goodie Bags. A player may only play on ONE 8-ball team and ONE 9-ball team during the Championships. There is no minimum age requirement. 6 NEW CHANGES FOR 2018!!! ACS HAS INCREASED THE ADDED MONEY TO THE OMEGA BILLIARDS 2018 ACS NATIONALS TO $42,000! CHANGES TO ADVANCED 8-BALL SCOTCH DOUBLES: For the Advanced 8-Ball Scotch Doubles team division ONLY, any two (man/woman) ACS league members who have met minimum participation requirements may compose an Advanced Scotch Doubles team. They may qualify in separate ACS-sanctioned leagues. Partners in Standard and Open Scotch Doubles teams must still be qualified from the same ACS-sanctioned league. HANDICAPPED 9-BALL SINGLES SPLIT INTO TWO SEPARATE DIVISIONS IN BOTH MEN S AND WOMEN S: ACS will be offering two separate divisions in both Men s and Women s 9-Ball Singles, so that one category be composed of Standard/Open players and one category be composed of Advanced/Master players. RACES: Men s Standard/Open 5/7 // Men s Advanced/Master 7/9 ///// Women s Standard/Open 4/5 // Women s Advanced/Master 6/7. More added money will be offered to accommodate the new divisions. NEW ADVANCED TEAM DIVISION GUIDELINES: Advanced Men s/mixed 8-Ball Teams may now be composed of a minimum of three (3) qualified core players from the same ACSsanctioned league on the roster and two (2) or more from any other ACS-sanctioned league within the same state; and Advanced Women s 8-Ball Teams may now be composed of a minimum of two (2) qualified core players from the same ACS-sanctioned league on the roster and two (2) or more from any other ACS-sanctioned league within the same state. Advanced Men s and Women s 9- Ball Teams may now be composed of a minimum of two (2) qualified core players from the same ACS-sanctioned league on the roster and two (2) or more from any other ACS-sanctioned league within the same state. Standard and Open 8-Ball and 9-Ball Teams must still meet the traditional composition requirements with all roster members from the same ACS-sanctioned league and as stipulated in the specific team entry form instructions. MAGIC RACK POLICY: Magic Rack or similar racking devices may be used at ACS competitions only if BOTH match competitors or teams approve the use (and both may use the rack if BOTH approve), but the device may not be used if not approved by BOTH parties.
