METHOD OF HOLDING THE RACES AUTHORISATION TO START The 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup is a series f 5 internatinal events (10 runds): 10 runds races with C1 ranking (with 2 qualifying runds t be held in each case as a cmbined event ver a single week end, starting n Friday); This represent 10 internatinal races with C1 ranking and all races will cunt fr the verall standing fr champinship riders. Pints will be given accrding t Eurpean fficial grid. The ranking f the 2015 BMX Eurpean Cup will be established fr the fllwing classes: Men Elite Male riders 19 years and lder Wmen Elite Female riders 19 years and lder Men Junir Male Riders 17 and 18 years ld Wmen Junir Female riders 17 and 18 years ld Challenge classes : Bys: 13/14 and 15/16 Men: 17/24 and 25+ Girls: 13/14 and 15/16 Wmen: 17+ There is n minimum number f races t cmpete in rder t be part f the verall standing. There will nt be any awards fr the verall standing fr challenge classes. C1 Races The runds f the 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup (C1 races) are pen t all riders frm any cuntry in champinship and challenge classes, All riders (Challenge and Champinship) participating in races rganized by UEC must hld a natinal licence issued by an UCI affiliated Federatin. There is n limit in the number f riders a cuntry can register. Nevertheless, in the case f a class having mre than 256 riders 2 mts will be held fr that particular class nly. All ther classes will have 3 mts.

4 Eurpean Champinships (CC): In accrdance with the UCI rules nly Eurpean riders can participate t the CC race. All riders (Challenge and Champinship) must hld a natinal licence issued by an UCI affiliated Federatin. Participatin champinship classes Each cuntry is allwed t enter a maximum number f 16 riders in every champinship classes Participatin - challenge classes Each cuntry is allwed t enter a maximum number f 16 riders in all race categries, fr the hst cuntry it is allwed t enter 32 riders in all race categries.

RULES The prvisins f the UCI s BMX rule bk in its latest versin apply with a few amendments : Riders categries : as set frth here abve (Eurpean Cup C1 and Eurpean Champinships CC) BMX Eurpean Cup (Champinship classes) : Fr the first rund mts are seeded accrding t the riders ranking in the verall standing f the 2014 Eurpean League. The Junir riders wh mve t Elite class are given 70 % f the pints they earned in 2014 befre being integrated int the Elite list. After the first rund a new verall standing list will be calculated and used fr the next race. Eurpean Champinships (CC) The mts are seeded in accrdance with the 2014 Eurpean Champinships results. Rider s equipment : Shrt pants : are allwed prvided they are used tgether with knee and shin prtectin with a rigid surface that extends frm the knee prtectin t fully cver the shin until just abve the ankle. Nevertheless the UEC BMX Cmmissin recmmends fr safety reasns the use f lng pants. Jeans are nt allwed all classes Use f clip pedals : riders aged 13 and lder are allwed t use clip pedals. Frnt and side plates : clrs and sizes as per UCI rule bk article Since pht finish system is utilized, each bicycle entered int cmpetitin must display a lateral number plate lcated just behind the steer tube. The number shall be black with a white backgrund. The height f the number must be a minimum f 8 cm with a width f 1 cm. The riders must display the number assigned t him : career number if any fr Elite classes and then Internatinal Eurpean Numbers that are assigned by the UEC race Administratr. It is the respnsibility f the rider t check he has the crrect number n his plate. N crrect number r n crrect plate means : n authrizatin t start and then REL. Numbers n jerseys : riders withut a permanent UCI career number must nt print a number n the back f their jersey. UEC BMX Eurpean Cup:

7 all Champinship and Challenge riders must either wear a clearly visible natinal flag f their cuntry n bth shulders r the natinal jersey f their cuntry therwise they will nt be allwed t start. if a Champinship rider is Natinal Champin in their class, this rider must wear either: the jersey awarded by the federatin, a replica f that jersey with publicity in the spaces allwed by the regulatins, their nrmal jersey with the left sleeve designed t lk like the flag f their cuntry UEC BMX Eurpean Champinships : all Challenge riders must either wear a clearly visible natinal flag f their cuntry n bth shulders r the natinal jersey f their cuntry therwise they will nt be allwed t start. all Champinship riders must wear their natinal jersey with career number if they have ne. The wrld, cntinental and natinal champins must cmply with this rule and wear their natinal team clthing while participating in the Eurpean Champinships. Number f mts : in case f special cnditins (weather, else) the UEC BMX Cmmissin allws the PCP in agreement with the UEC Technical delegate t reduce the number f mts. This can nly apply fr challenge classes and never fr champinship classes. Team Managers meeting will be n the Friday evening at 16:30. The participatin is mandatry fr: max. 1 Natinal Delegate (Chef d équipe) max. 1 Team Manager f the UEC registered team If necessary and accrding t the needs the UEC Technical delegate and PCP can decide t call fr ther meetings during the curse f the event. A quiet / private meeting rm r tent fr 50 persns with ludspeaker is t be prvided by the rganizers. This space shuld nt be inside the public area. The lcatin f the team managers meeting rm must be clearly sign psted.

8 UEC BMX EUROPEAN CUP TEAM RANKING The 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup Teams ranking will cnsist n 10 runds. All races cunt. All teams have t register thrugh UEC prir t the first event f the seasn in rder t take part t the 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup Teams Ranking. Thse teams will receive frm the UEC: ne specific UEC pass fr the whle 2015 and 2 entrance bracelets fr each team per event (5 events). Only team wh are duly registered t a event f the Eurpean Cup can receive these 2 bracelets. The entrance bracelets will allw them t have free entrance and an access t the surrundings f the track. Only the UEC pass will allw the access t the Team Manager Area. These passes and bracelets wn t be accepted in Erp (NED) fr the CC race. The award ceremny will be held in Manchester (Great Britain), n the Sunday, Octber 18 th with Team caches and maximum 4 riders. The UEC Cmmissin will award 3 trphies t the 3 first teams and ne medal t each rider f the team: Gld medal fr the 1 st team f the 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup Team ranking Silver medal fr the 2 nd team f the 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup Team ranking Brnze medal fr the 3 rd team f the 2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup Team ranking Rules : All teams have t register and pay a registratin fee t the UEC at the beginning f the seasn (deadline March 1 st 2015) UEC fee 200,00. Teams have t cnfirm their participatin t the event (2015 UEC BMX Eurpean Cup) tgether with riders registratin n Friday frm t Teams have t pay a fee t the rganizers f 150,00. There will be n team ranking r team parking n the Cntinental Champinship race but UEC registered teams can still hire a team space : 150,00 has t be paid t the rganizers. As a cunterpart the rganizers will: prvide spaces, as clse as pssible t the track, f 6 x 3 m fr each team registered fr that specific race; prmte the name f the Team during races.

9 Riders : All classes are welcme : challenge (20 & 24 ) and champinship 10 riders maximum in a team, but pints will be given nly t 4 riders registered by the Team Cach. The list f registered riders will be sent ut t all teams after registratin deadline, tw weeks befre the event, and they will have ne week t decide which riders will make pints, with pssibility t change at registratin cntrl. Pints will be given accrding t Eurpean fficial grid

10 6. RIDERS REGISTRATION, REGISTRATION FEES, LATE ENTRIES The registratin fees have t be paid by Natinal Cycling Federatin by bank transfer r by the Natinal Team Manager n site at registratin cntrl. The registratin fees are the fllwing : Junir Classes : Elite Classes : Challenge classes : 37,00 per entry 59,00 per entry per entry Abve apply bth fr the races f the UEC BMX Eurpean Cup and fr the Cntinental Champinships. The registratin fees fr all riders have t be paid in full t the Natinal Cycling Federatin (r rganizer) which rganize the event. It is als pssible t register after the deadline r n the spt with the agreement f the UEC Chief Administratr and by dubling the entry fees. In view f the additinal administrative expense, this fee has t be paid t the rganizer at spt.

11 7. TIME SCHEDULE N detailed time schedule shuld be frwarded t the federatins prir t the event. The time schedule will be established by the UEC Chief Administratr accrding t the number f entries and will be frwarded in due time t the rganizer f the race fr the registratin cntrl, and will be at the same time psted n the UEC website. PRELIMINARY REGISTRATIONS The Federatins will send their registratins t the races by t the UEC Chief Administratr : bmx.eurpe@range.fr accrding t fllwing time schedule : The deadline fr sending registratins by each federatin is fixed n the Friday at 7.00 pm tw weeks befre the start f the race. The participating cuntries will decide f a deadline fr receiving the registratins in their wn cuntry. On the fllwing Mnday the UEC Chief Administratr will send back the list f riders with the assigned internatinal numbers t the Organizer as well as t the varius cuntries and t the UEC website. The Federatins can cancel riders until the Thursday 8.00 a.m. befre the event. They will nt have t pay fr this registratin. If the riders d nt shw up at the event and d nt cancel their participatin in due time entry fee will have t be paid by the natinal delegate. If there is a n shw frm ne delegatin the UEC will send the invice accrdingly. The registratin t the next event will depend n the payment f the invice. The Federatins can add riders after the deadline but they will have t pay duble fee. The Chief Administratr will send back t the rganizer the final list with additins and cancellatins in view f preparatin f the registratin cntrl. He will then establish a time schedule accrding t the number f participants and will submit it t the PCP and the rganizer N individual registratin will be accepted.

14 9. STAFF IDENTIFICATION All persnnel directly r indirectly cncerned with the race must be prvided with special ID cards. The rganizer must prvide ID cards / passes t: Chef d equipe (Head f cuntry delegatin) Access t finish line Assistant t natinal Chef d Equipe in additin t the head f delegatin : the number f assistants is based n the number f attending riders.(largest number n ne f the tw days : riders nt entries) Each head f Natinal Delegatin will als receive extra passes that he will be able t distribute t : mechanic, physics, natinal cach r any ther persn f their delegatin 1 rider n assistants n crew 2 t 5 riders 1 assistant n crew 6 t 10 riders 2 assistants 2 crew 11 t 50 riders 2 assistants 4 crew 51 t 100 riders 3 assistants 4 crew 101 t 200 riders 4 assistants 4 crew 201 and ver 5 assistants 4 crew Hst natin 5 assistants 4 crew These ID cards / passes shuld have different clrs accrding t the authrized areas.

17 11. PRESS AND MEDIA Press passes fr the event will be granted nly t accredited jurnalists in pssessin f an ID card issued by the natinal press assciatin. It mandatry t wear press BIB s fr the jurnalists n the track. The number f jurnalists n the track at the same time has t be agreed by the PCP depending n the track space/size. Live streaming: The UEC will prvide a live streaming service fr all events.
