6 21 - Special Prizes Class 435 Meat Cup Alliance Perpetual Trophy for Meat Breeds -To be judged at pm. This trophy will be presented to Best Meat Breed Ram or Ewe; All Supreme Champions from meat breeds are eligible to compete for Meat Cup. The judge of each breed shall determine the sheep, either ram or ewe, to go forward. The judge of each breed entered shall then judge all the sheep and place them from first to last. Then all the placings will be added up and the sheep with the least number of points shall be declared the winners of the Meat Cup. Class 436 Wool Cup Alliance Perpetual Trophy for Wool Breeds This will be presented to the Best Wooled Adult Sheep (e.g. Ewe or Ram). All breeds eligible to complete for Wool Cup. The judge of each breed shall determine the sheep, either ram or ewe, to go forward. The judge of each breed entered shall then judge all the sheep and place them from first to last. Then all the placings will be added up and the sheep with the least number of points shall be declared the winners of the Meat and Wool Cups. 7 23 Fleece Wool BRIAN REDDING LIMITED KINDLY DONATE $50 PRIZE MONEY TO THIS SECTION Judged at 9.00am Saturday 2nd February ENTRY FEE: MEMBERS $8.00 NON-MEMBERS $10.00 PRIZE MONEY: 1st $20; 2nd $15; 3rd $10; unless in a special sponsored class where prize money is listed. Prize money is to be collected from the Sheep Secretaries caravan next to the Loading Ramps at the conclusion of judging. All fleeces to be shown as nearly complete as possible. Each entry to consist of one fleece only, and must be current season wool. Exhibits must be the property of a Bona Fide farmer, but it is not necessary that the Exhibitor is the breeder of the sheep. An expert appointed by the Association may, if necessary, change any exhibits from one class to another, where he considers the entry is entered in the wrong class. All fleece wool that has a first or second prize is eligible to compete in the National Golden Fleece competition if fleece is of a good standard.
