I always do a pre-ride check of my motorcycle before I go for a ride. 3. My riding jacket has retro-reflective material on it. 4. My riding jacket has body armor in it. 5. I always check my rear view mirror before stopping. 6. When stopping for a light, I always stop in a spot that doesn t box me in. 7. I never ride impaired. 8. I carry a first aid kit, a cell phone, a flashlight, & a small fire extinguisher. 18. I know that you can t brake and swerve at the same time. 19. At busy intersections, I cover my brakes and clutch. 20. I take a safety course every two years. 21. I never lane split. 22. If I have to stop quickly in a curve, I know I must straighten the bike first. 23. I always make sure that my tires have plenty of tread on them. 24. Before I take a passenger, I spend 5 minutes explaining what they should do and what they should wear. 25. If I lock the rear brake, I know I must keep it locked until the end. 26. If I lock the front brake I know I must release it immediately, then re-apply it. 27. I stay within my limits, the bike s limits and the environment in which I ride. Answers: All answers are true. 13 Chapter Directors We started out the month of February by attending the Ops meeting in Morgantown, WV with Rosalie & Willie Boyles. Rosalie s Mom Mary was nice enough to open up her Home to us for the weekend. Thanks again to Rosalie & Willie for taking us with them. We had our Gathering on It was nice having Judy & Ken Shively, Terry Wright (Jo Heck s Nephew), John Frame (former Chapter C Director) as well as Buzz & Missy at our Gathering. Michael & I presented John with he and Glenna s former patches. Our Treasure Rosalie had everyone play a game. Each one of us were blindfolded then we had to draw ourselves one body part at a time. All had a good time laughing at each other s drawings. We ve been missing Aldy & Della Sauvageot as well as Green & Lois Stewart. Prayers to all that have been under the weather. Good News! Sunny Luthy was released from his Orthopedist on Friday Michael & I both have called Harmon Motorsports, Ashland Cycle Center and Honda Suzuki of Jackson. Because the RECALL on your Gold Wing is a SAFETY RECALL it never expires. If you have the Rings Of Fire on your Wing when the RECALL is done on your Wing you will be charged to take the Rings off and to put them back on. No matter where you call we were told by each dealer they will have your Wing at least 1 day but maybe for 2 days. Eddie & Jo Heck returned from Florida on Saturday Glad to have them back home. CHAPTER EVENTS When: June 19, 2016 Cost $20.00 a person Where: Appalachian Power Park Baseball Game The cost includes your Meal and Game. The Meal consists of Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chili & Slaw Watermelon and Tea or Lemonade In Memorium to Glenna Frame they will place a picture of her on the Jumbo Tron throughout the game. Joyce Huffstutler needs everyone s money for this event by April,2016 Rallies coming up are as follows: Spring Fling 2016 will be held this year in Pigeon Forge, TN April 28, 2016 thru April 29,2016. Michael & I, Barry & Joyce, and Sunny will be staying at the Ramada Inn South. Our Fun Day will be held along with H3 on My 14, 2016 at Harmon Motorsports.

14 Region N Ride Mother State Park in Marion, VA. Michael & I and Barry & Joyce are panning on attending this also. Our West Virginia Reunion will be held once again in Summersville, WV July 22 and July 23, Michael & I plan on Baymont on Friday night. Hope that everyone can come to see Rosalie & Willie s Show.
