September Meeting Notes Meeting called to order by Steve Tarney at 7:30 PM. Treasurers report read and approved. Field condition: See cover photo. Will be rolled if the snow melts and spring ever comes. Correction: Greg Williams was incorrectly identified as Greg Markely in last months newsletter. Greg organized and ran the July Fun Fly this year. Old business: Next year the Fun Fly will be July 15, 2017(rain date July 16). New Business: Officer elections were held. After a state-wide recount all the current officers were reelected. Membership dues are now due and can be paid to Dick Husting. New Year s Day Ice Fly as usual will be at noon followed by appetizers at Atlas BBQ in Grafton. It s always cold and windy and there s usually at least one spectacular crash. Guaranteed to be entertaining. Be there! Winter Flying Rules are now in effect: No flying from the road No parking on the road, park only in the parking lot The Christmas Party will be December 19 at 7:30 in the Grafton Senior Center. Bring food to share. New or gently used raffle donations are welcome. Please wrap your donations. If you volunteer to help at the EAA Kidventure your admission and parking are free. The annual RC Auction and Swap Meet is Sunday. January 8, 2017 at the Waukesha County Expo Center. Doors open at 9 AM. $5, under 16 Free. Bring your indoor planes to fly after the event.
