4 General Rules and Eligibility Rider Eligibility: AXTOUR events are open to all qualified participants without regard to the sex of the entrant. JETWERX USA Inc. retains the right to deny any participant entry based on prior disciplinary action. Guardianship for Minors: No rider under the legal age of majority in the state in which the meet takes place may compete without the written consent (signature on liability releases and entry forms) of his/her parents or legal guardians present at the meet. An authorized adult acting on behalf of the parents or legal guardians must provide a notarized statement indicating they have been given the authority by the parent or legal guardian to be responsible for the minor during the meet. The parents, legal guardians or authorized adult must remain present while the participant he/she is responsible for is at the event. Drug and Alcohol Policy: All race personnel, officials, riders, mechanics, anyone associated with riders and photographers must not consume or be under the influence of intoxicants or drugs that could affect their normal mental or physical ability. Any such person under the influence of intoxicants or drugs will be removed from the event without refund, by event security. Foul Language Policy: Riders and/or family and pit crew who direct foul and use abusive language to an official are subject to disqualification for the entire meet. Rider Responsibility: Each rider is responsible for the actions of his family and pit crew. Any unnecessary trouble caused by these individuals puts that rider at risk of disqualification. All riders and other race personnel must assess for themselves the track, facilities, existing conditions and other matters relating to safety. All riders and race personnel must rely on their own judgment and assume all risks of participating in competition in any manner. Track Access: Any person on the track without a mechanics pass will be asked to leave the premises. Any person that jumps the rail onto the arena floor will be escorted by security off the 4

5 premises. Any riders that are in staging or on the track without their bike are subject to disqualification. Only one mechanic/ parent is allowed to the starting gate per rider. Age Requirements: A rider's age as of the date of Jan. 1st, 2015 and will determine his/her age for the Series. However, a rider may move up to the next higher class if he/she will be eligible (birthday falls within the Series) to do so at any time during the series, but once a rider moves to the higher age class, he/she may not move back to the lower class. Riders are encouraged to determine at the beginning of the series, which age class they will participate in for the entire series. A referee or clerk may request a rider's proof of age. Pit Riding Policy: NO pit riding except to and from the starting gate. Any person caught riding in the vendor area, landscaped areas or on public roads on the facility property will be asked to return to his/her pit a second violation will result in disqualification. Pre-Registration: Pre-registration can be completed by completing online at arenacrosstour.com. The deadline for pre-registration is Thursday Prior to the 6pm EST. Pit Passes: Pit passes can be purchased from the rider registration office. A pit passes allow access to the pits as well as serves as a general admission ticket during the night program. A valid ID is required to purchase a pit pass. A parent must be present for minors to obtain a pit pass. Pit Passes cost: $15 per and act as your ticket to the event, at 1pm due to arena protocol pit passes go up to $18 per to equal the same as a general admission ticket Registration Rates: Pre- Entry: $40 per class, $30 per second class and each additional class - Pre-entry allows you to get first come first serve gate pick in Amateur Classes. Day of the Event: $40 per class, $35 per second class and each additional class Spectator Tickets: Spectator tickets can be purchased online prior to the event at arenacrosstour.com or at the venues box office. Prices are posted at arenacrosstour.com. 5

6 Weekend Schedule: Friday: Registration 7:00-8:30am amateur rider registration (SELECT AMATEUR CLASSES ONLY) All riders and mechanics will need TO REGISTER at this time. Pre REGISTERED riders will need to check in and pick up wristbands and practice stickers. Mechanic passes must be signed for by the riders mechanic. Pit pass prices will rise to the regular admission price of Current Venue General ticket after 2:30pm on Friday. Track Walk 8:30am rider/mechanic track walk The track will be OPEN at this time for the riders and their mechanic to inspect. Spectators with pit passes will not be permitted on the track, for any reason, at any time other then the Pit Party Fan experience. Riders Meeting 8:45 am riders meeting All amateur rider and mechanics are required to attend riders meeting. The EVENT MANAGER will be giving details to how the event will run and touch on major rules. All riders should read the rules posted on IXSA.org under the Rule Book tab prior to the event. Copies of the rules will be available at the registration office on the day of the event. Amateur Practice 9:00-11:30 am amateur practice All amateur riders will have the opportunity to practice at this time. The practice order will be posted the day of the event and will be announced at the riders meeting. The practice order will be run through once (this is a approx. 8 lap practice). In order to allow more practice time all OPEN classes will practice their appropriate age or discipline i.e. a 7 year old 50cc rider racing in the 50cc open class will practice with the 50cc 7-8 practice, there will be no open class practices. All riders will need to have their practice sticker on their front number plate. Riders will receive practice stickers at registration. All riders will need to wear their event wristbands in order to practice. Event wristbands will be sold at registration. Lunch Break 11:30-12:00 am Lunch break 6

Big bike numbers must be a minimum of 7 and be displayed on all side plates/front # plate. Small bikes numbers must be a minimum of 5 and be on all side plates/front # plate. All quads must have front and rear stationary number plates with a minimum 6 numbers. Competition Apparel 1. It is the sole responsibility of the rider to select a helmet and apparel, which will provide appropriate protection. JETWERX USA INC does not endorse or certify any manufacturers or products. The rider must rely on his own judgment in the selection of any helmet and apparel for durability and safety. 2. A rider must wear a helmet at all times. Helmets must be of the full-face or fullcoverage type. All riders must utilize a shatterproof face shield or shatterproof goggles. The helmet must conform to one of the following recognized standards and have a label affixed certifying its approval: Snell M 2005 or DOT FMVSS It is recommended that all helmets used in competition be equipped with a commercially manufactured emergency helmet removal device such as the Hats 9

10 Off device. It is recommended that all competitors display the following information on the base of his/her helmet: name, drug allergies and blood type. 4. Protective pants made of durable material must be worn in all competition. 5. Boots must be worn in all competitions. They must be at least eight inches high with laces, buckles or zippers, or specially designed and constructed for leg and foot protection. Classifications: Skill levels are as follows: 1. Beginner: A Beginner rider must move up in class once he/she finishes first place three times or finishes in the top three in the series points. A rider may finish out the series he/she starts. a. A beginner level rider is not permitted to double jump the finish line double or triple jump. (a double or triple jump is defined as landing on top or on the downside of the second or third jump) 2. Novice: A Novice rider must move up in class once he/she finishes first place three times or finishes in the top three in the series points. A rider may finish out the series he/she starts. (This is solely under the discretion of the head referee to whether there is safety concerns with the rider moving to the next class.) 3. Intermediate: An intermediate rider may move up in class at his/her discretion. 4. Professional: Must be 16 years of age or older. Rider must have competed in and surpassed the intermediate class ranking. If questionable a rider s classification is determined by the event manager. Race Rules 1. No one except riders officially entered may ride or practice on any portion of the course the day of the meet. 2. If a rider s physical stature is such that he/she cannot reach the ground with both feet, blocks may be used but must be removed immediately after the start. 3. A rider must be ready when called to the starting area. If not ready, he is allowed two minutes after the starters call to make minor repairs. 4. A rider whose machine is disabled before reaching the finish line may, under his own physical power, push or carry his machine (in the direction of the track) across the finish line to receive the checkered flag. Provided he completes at least 10

11 50 percent of the number of laps as the winner, a rider who finishes in this manner will be considered as having completed the event. 5. A rider leaving the course must re-enter at the same point or at the first point where he can safely do so without interfering with other riders and without gaining an advantage. Failure to do so will result in the rider being penalized a minimum of one finishing position for that event. 6. A competitor who rides in a way that endangers officials, other riders or the public will be subject to immediate disqualification from the meet by the referee. 7. When entering or leaving the pits, a rider must use designated entrance and exit lanes. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. 8. The race is completed when the leader takes the checkered flag. Finishing position is determined by the number of laps completed and a rider need not take the checkered flag to finish. 9. Engines must remain off until the starter indicates it is time to start them. Flags 10.Riders cannot groom the area in front of the starting gate. 11. Any scoring issues must be brought to the event secretary attention within 15 minutes of result posting. All results are final after 15 minutes waiting period from final result posting. 12. If a class has more than 12 riders it will go to Heats, LCQ and Main event format. 13.Once staging begins it is the riders responsibility to be in the staging area, or rider will for-fit their gate pick. 14. If a rider jumps the starting line gate they will be penalize a min of 2 positions, depending on the severity and discretion of the head referee it could be disqualification.**** 1. GREEN-start of race. 2. WHITE-one lap to go until finish. 11

12 3. YELLOW-caution. When a yellow flag is displayed, competitors must ride cautiously until they have passed the incident that caused the flag. When a yellow flag is displayed there is no passing or jumping between the flag and the incident that caused the yellow flag. Failure to do so may result in the rider being docked from one finishing position all the way to disqualification from the event subject to the referee s discretion. Pro s can jump with caution. 4. BLACK-disqualification of a rider. That rider must report to the referee at once. 5. LIGHT BLUE with diagonal red stripe-indicates you are about to be overtaken by faster riders. Hold your line and do not impede their progress. 6. WHITE WITH RED CROSS-indicates that ambulances, safety vehicles or emergency personnel are on the course. EXERCISE CAUTION. Should this flag (red cross) be displayed riders will slow down, maintain position with no passing or jumping until past the incident. Failure to do so may result in the rider being docked from one finishing position all the way to disqualification from the event subject to the referee's discretion. 7. BLACK AND WHITE CHECKERED-end of race. 8. RED-stopping of a race for any emergency situation. Stock Class Rules: All STOCK Class specific class carburetors are to be original equipment. The intake side of the cylinder/output side of the carburetor must have an opening no larger than the above-mentioned size for that class. The opening must be a round opening. An oval shaped opening is NOT acceptable. The restriction must be a minimum of 4mm thick. The hole must have square corners (no radius of chamfer on either side). All STOCK Class seat height will be measured at the lowest part of the top of the seat. To be eligible for a STOCK CLASS, the following can't be changed or modified: Air Box Frame Carburetor (jetting changes allowed) Rim Size Electronics Stroke *Exhaust System (excluding muffler) See note below Swingarm Internal Engine Components Wheel Hubs Lower Triple Clamp 12

13 The following items are exceptions for stock class competition: Cylinder re-plating is allowed but must retain the original manufacturer's bore. Changes to carburetor jetting are allowed. Clutch plates, pistons and piston rings may be aftermarket items as long as they maintain the stock shape, design and material of the OEM parts. Material may be added to the production frame for strength, including welding. These changes shall not affect frame geometry. OEM front and rear suspension can be altered with internal modifications only. Shock linkage and suspension spring rates may be changed to any commercially available part. Changes that are cosmetic in nature are allowed so long as there is no performance advantage. To be eligible for stock classes that use oil-injection systems, only oil may be put in the reservoir. Pre-mix gasoline isn't allowed in the oil-injection system. High compression pistons aren't allowed. All other internal engine components must be stock OEM parts. Any items not listed above may be changed or modified. Violations of the stock class rules as determined by the protest process or by the referee of the event will result in disqualification from the event. Modified Class Rules: 1. Classes are considered modified unless stated otherwise. 2. Motorcycles must use the crankcases of the production motorcycle motor. 3. The use of sleeving, stroking or boring to change displacement classes is allowed. The actual displacement of a motor must be stamped on the side of the cylinder or engine case. 4. The displacement of the motorcycle or minicycle may not exceed the class limit. 5. The frame with which a rider has qualified may not be changed, though engines may. 6. The (cc) is determined by V=B2(.7854)(h); B is bore and h is stroke. (Bore X Bore X X stroke X number of cylinders.) Note: If bore and stroke is in millimeters, divide the end product by 1000 to convert to cubic centimeters (cc). If bore and stroke is in inches, multiply the end product by to convert to cubic centimeters (cc). 13

A protest against another competitor motorcycle s displacement can be submitted in writing to an official for a fee of $300USD. 2. If the motorcycle in question is found to be illegal one half of the fee will be returned. 3. If the motorcycle in question is found to be legal one half the fee will be awarded to the competitor that the protest was filed against. 4. A protest can be submitted within the 15-minute protest period from the time the specific class s results have been posted. 5. For the protest to be acknowledged a Protest Waiver must be filled out and submitted to the IXSA track official. 15

16 6. IXSA holds the right to handles the protest in the way in which they find appropriate. 7. Each protest will be filed for future reference. Advancement System: Amateur Qualifying If a class has more than 12 riders it will go to Heats, LCQ and Main event format. Amateur Points Structure: Year End Championships: Qualifying for Amateur Program: If a rider qualifies to go to the amateur night program in multiple classes his or her second qualifying position will be given up to the next available rider in the class with the highest entries. 16

18 Racing Format 1. Pro classes are traditional Heat, LCQ, Main event format with points only counting in the main events. Practice Format Depending on rider turnout there will be a divisional practice with the current top ten riders in GROUP A. Other groups will be formed GROUP B and GROUP C according to sign up. Any AMA national top 100 number will be added to GROUP A. Practice will be as follows: 1st practice for each division will be 6 laps FREE PRACTICE (no times) 2nd and final practice will be 10 laps Timed Qualifying to make the Night Show. Qualifying Format Qualifying will be as follows: Top 18 will be automatically into the Night Heats. The 6 remaining spots to be decided in an LCQ format. Night Program Night program will be as Follows: 2 heats top 5 positions transfer direct to the main event. The remained will go to the LCQ. Two riders will transfer to the main event out of the LCQ. During the Night program Jetwerx USA Inc. holds the right to use POV cams on the top 5 fastest qualifying riders and to use capturing footage of such cams for purpose of promotion, advertising, web content and television. Clash For Cash 1. All Pro riders are eligible for the Clash For Cash, the top 6 from AX Lites and the top 6 from AX will line up for the final race of the night with the big purse funds. 2. Provisional gate pick: if a current top ten rider or current / past champion does not qualify for the Clash For Cash they can use a ONE time provisional gate pick to be allowed gate number 13, which is in the second row. 18

19 3. Only ONE provisional rider is allowed to enter at each event, starting with current / past champion and then going to the current top 10 points standings.
