2 Welcome to Thunder Ridge Sporting Clays and Game Farm and to the 2014 PA State Sporting Clays Championship. This is our 20 th year being involved in sporting clays. From the original Thunder Ridge down the road, to Twin S, then on to Rock Mountain, and now home again. We have seen the sport change and evolve into what it is today. We want to thank everyone who has traveled this road with us for the last 20 years. Hopefully next year we will become more involved in actually shooting and see all of you on other courses. We want to extend an invitation to you to bring your family along as well. Within a short driving distance there are multiple recreational facilities for family members to enjoy. Please visit our website for information on various attractions in the area. This year s event will be coordinated with the combined efforts of Bill Appel and Chuck Frazier. Chuck will be bringing in his Promatic traps and also assist with target setting. We are working diligently to attract additional competitors to allow our shoot numbers in PA to continue to grow. Pre-registration is available on winscoreonline.com Thursday and Friday will be the shooting days for all preliminary and sub-gauge events. Please plan to start early to complete these events as you must be off the course by 4:00. Any personal golf carts or 4 wheelers are welcome on the course. They must, however, be equipped with vertical gun racks. No trailers will be allowed on the course. Traffic will flow in one direction. We look forward to your participation in this year s event. Wayne Davis 2013 Mike Luongo General Information Eligibility All participants must be current members of the NSCA. Membership applications will be accepted at the shoot. An open class has been added for all non-nsca shooters. Rules & Regulations All NSCA rules are in effect for all events of the tournament. Shoot management reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of this program if conditions warrant. Management decisions are final. In accordance with NSCA rules, shoot management may refuse any entry or cause the withdrawal of any contestant who annoys, endangers or interferes in any way with the harmony of the shoot or, in the management s opinion, whose conduct is unsportsmanlike. Shooters using abusive language to any trapper, scorekeeper or any other person on the shoot management will be removed from the competition immediately. Classification Classification will be determined by the rules of the NSCA. Shooters must have their NSCA cards properly filled out with up to date information. Any shooter in the wrong class (not moving up) will be disqualified immediately. It is the shooter s responsibility to see that he/she is placed in the correct class upon entering this shoot. Ammunition Only factory ammunition may be used for all events at the tournament. Residency A shooter must be a resident of the state of PA to be eligible for PSCA trophies and NSCA state pins in the main event. Non-resident 1 st place trophies have been added to the main event. Safety Requirements Eye and ear protection is mandatory. All persons, spectators, shooters, referees and trap personnel must wear eye and ear protection on the course. Spectators and contestants assume all risks resulting from accident or loss of property occurring on the property of Thunder Ridge.
