Class sizes will be determined after the close of entries for trophy allocation purposes. RACING FORMAT: TIED POSITIONS: UCI Transfer System refer In case of disruption or adverse weather, moto format may be changed, at the discretion of Race Director, Chief Commissaire and/or BMX. All tied positions will be separated by Count back. SUPERCLASS & CHAMPIONSHIP SELECTION EVENT: Pro track is compulsory for Male riders in these events. Block racing will be held with intervals of approximately 20/30 minutes. SCRUTINEERING: Officials will randomly check bikes before and during the event, including all official practice and warm up sessions when safety gear and number plates must be worn. It is recommended that CLUBS scrutineer all bikes prior to the event. AWARD CEREMONY: This will be held 30 minutes after the finish of racing track side on each day covering the classes that competed on that day. AWARDS & TROPHY ALLOCATION: Perpetual Cups to all 1 st Place winners Classes with 8 riders or less: Trophies and Race Plates to 3 rd place Classes with 9 riders: Trophies to 3 rd place and Race Plates to 7 th place Classes with 10 riders or more: Trophies to 3 rd place and Race Plates to 8 th place Medallions for all participants Personalised certificates will be sent to clubs as soon as available. 4 2015 BMX New Zealand National Championship Mighty 11 Boys and Mighty 11 Girls Selection Friday 3 April 2015, Christchurch City BMX Club Incorporated Isobel Hooper Raceway, Kyle Park, Waterloo Rd, Hornby, Christchurch Mighty 11 Boys 4 riders - Mighty 11 Girls 4 riders: Teams will be selected to travel to Australia to represent in the Mighty 11 s Cultural Exchange and Australia vs. New Zealand - Mighty 11 s Test. The selection is open to all riders who will be 11 years old (actual age) on 1 June Format Mighty 11 s: All Riders 4 qualifying motos. Each rider s 3 lowest moto points will be added, then; 8 or less riders Points added to 5 th (final) moto to determine top 4 placings riders Top 8 riders to 1 final, points added to 3 best moto points riders Top 16 riders race semi finals, points added to 3 best moto points Top 8 riders to final, points added to previous points. Count back system to determine semi final and final positions. Semi finals placing, last counted moto placing, if necessary. Finish position in Final will determine team selection if points tied. Riders select lanes for Semifinals and Finals GATE: POINTS: 8 Lane Gate BMX Moto Mixing. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. All riders must compete in the 2015 BMX New Zealand National Championships 2. Selected Riders and Guardians will be required to sign and comply with the BMX Test Teams Contract. (Copies available upon request from the BMX Administrator admin@bmxnz.co.nz). Contracts to be signed on the day of selection. 3. Riders must attend arranged team training sessions as arranged by BMX Team Management. 4. Riders must be available to travel to Australia during May & June During this period riders will be billeted or accommodated only as arranged by BMX Team Management. (Late returns with family are possible by arrangement). 5. All riders must have current passports and entry rights into Australia, copies of which must be handed in at time of selection (please have copies of passport with you at the BMX National Championships selection to hand over with the signed contract. 6. Riders selected will be required to pay to BMX - Australian dollars $ to assist with the costs. 7. All riders must abide by the rules and regulations as set by BMX. REGISTRATION: Friday am.
