7 JUDGES & RULES FOR QUALIFIERS SENIOR SHOWING & DRESSAGE APRIL 7TH, JUNE 17TH, JULY 15TH This is a qualifier for the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced First Round Qualifiers, open to both members and non members of SSADL. No spurs,galloping, wearing of face/body jewellery. Foals are not permitted. SSADL classes for In Hand classes, minimum age of handler 9yrs old. Stallions either for in hand or ridden classes, competitors must be aged 16yrs or over. Grooms if required must be 16yrs of age and over. If the class has a strip section then all lead rein competitors MUST have a groom. The leader will show the equine and the groom MUST stay with the rider. Competitors cannot enter the ring once the command for trot has been given. THE SAME RIDER/HANDLER/PONY/HORSE COMBINATION MUST STAY THE SAME FROM FIRST /SECOND ROUND QUALIFIERS AND GRAND FINAL.. ALL COMPETITORS SHOULD ACQUAINT THEMSELVES WITH SSADL RULES BEFORE ENTERING.. SSADL RULEBOOK CAN BE FOUND AT dressage.co.uk. 1ST TO 3RD IN EACH CLASS WILL RECEIVE A 10 VOUCHER, KINDLY SPONSORED BY ANTHONY EVANS INSURANCE. SSADL QUALIFICATION CARDS & KEEP SAKE PRIZE CARDS 1ST TO 6TH will be handed out in the ring at the time of the presentation. COMPETITORS NEED ONLY ONE QUALIFICATION CARD PER SECTION PER SEASON IN HAND AND/OR RIDDEN. IF ALREADY QUALIFIED THIS CARD MUST BE HANDED DOWN THE LINE. NEXT STAGE OLYMPIA SECOND STAGE QUALIFIERS you can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second round qualifiers if you are a 2018 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2018 membership/registration card. Once you have qualified at a Fund Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance Card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers. The second round champions will go on to compete at Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced Supreme Final at London International Horse Show in December Once a competitor has qualified for the Olympia Grand Final, they ay continue to compete at any 2nd Round Qualifiers, but they will not be eligible to enter the Olympia Qualifying Championships. In this instance the second placed competitor will be eligible for this chapionships. Once a competitor has qualified for Olympia in the Ridden section, they are not allowed to qualify for the In Hand section and vice versa. 8 TRADTIONAL GYPSY COB ASSOCIATION (TOYS) - 7TH APRIL, (Affiliation No TGCA/04/18/032 6th MAY (Affiliation number TGCA /05/18/033 - Quest for a Star/Go for Glory Championships ) & JULY 15TH (Affiliation No TGCA/07/18/034) TGCA TOYS In Hand & Ridden Classes Pure bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breeds Finals at the Gypsy Cob Associations (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show TOYS. Classes are open to all traditional gypsy cobs. Part Bred classes are open to all part bred traditional gypsy cobs and are qualifiers for the part bred finals at TOYS. The exhibit must have one parent that is pure bred traditional gypsy cob, a minimum of 50% breeding is accepted. Stallions All stallions (four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have their TGCA stallion disc displayed ont heir bridle and be bitted as per the current TGCA rulebook. Existing TGCA members mnust present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non members will receive qualification card from judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Please refer to for further details including memberships Quest for a Star Championship Show MAY SHOW ONLY 1st,2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship, provided they are current TGCA members and the horse is TGCA registered. Membership cards and qualification cards (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualifiy for the Ultimate Star Championship at TOYS, Go for Glory Championship MAY SHOW ONLY 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA part bred classes may go forward to the Go for Glory Championship. For 2018 and 2019 TOYS Qualifiers, the handler/rider and exhibits (apart from the stallions) do not have to be TGCA members/registered on the date of the show. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Crowning Glory championships at TOYS TRAILBLAZERS - April 7th, April 22nd, May 6th, June 17th, This is a qualifier for The Trailblazers Championships, which will be held at Warwickshire on 28th & 29th July 2018, (SHOWING & WORKING HUNTER). Joining an equestrian extravaganza dedicated to Show Jumping, Dressage, Combined Training, Showing & Working Hunter. The aim of the Trailblazers Championships is to provide a true championship experience for competitors at the finals, with the emphasis on quality and a memorable experience. Competitors can camp on-site in the beautiful and picturesque grounds of Stoneleigh Park, while their horse is stabled in the showground stable area. Competitors who compete at the Trailblazers Championships rise to the challenge and thoroughly love it! For the showing & Working Hunter elements, there is no second round. It is as direct qualification to the Championships for the 4 highest placed combinations. Competitors who qualify must purchase a Showing Qualification Card to be able to ride at the Championships. 9 THE SHOWING REGISTER SHOWING FINALS (TSR) - 7TH APRIL, 22ND APRIL, 6TH MAY, 27TH MAY, JUNE 17TH & JULY 15TH TSR Showing Finals This show is a qualifier for the 2018 TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You do not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The rider/handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of the Finals. TSR Riders Finals 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring TSR In Hand Finals The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers must have their cards signed in the ring by the jusge/steward. Cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at showing register.co,uk TSR Medal Awards TSR members can collect qualification cards & signatures and redeem for a TSR medal see TSR Website for details. BSHA Grass Roots Champs With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs in Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre. You do not have to be a BSHA member to qualify or enter the final. See CHAPS - 22ND APRIL & 17TH JUNE This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 30th August - 1st September Shows held on or after the Postal Entry closing date will count as 2019 qualifiers. The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifying Classes :- In hand: Class 19A Young stock, Class 27A Open In Hand Class (includes non Native, Native, Traditional & Cob), Ridden : Class 42A Open Ridden (including Non Native, Native, Traditional & Cob), Please note additional Chaps qualifying classes being hosted by Urmston & District riding club this year The following additional classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifying Classes :- In hand: Class 16 Veteran, Ridden : Class 34 First Ridden, Class 35 Lead Rein Showing, Class 37 Veteran, Class 2 Novice horse and Novice Pony. For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook; or visit for rulings. All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception. 9
