1 CRAB FAIR Equestrian Events The Wyndham Branch of the Pony Club is organising the equestrian events on behalf of the Crab Fair Committee and would like to thank the Committee and Local Businesses for their support to enable this popular event to continue. The Equestrian events will be held over two weekends, Show Jumping on Saturday 12 th September at Lane Head Field, Sandwith, Whitehaven, and Riding the Boundary and riding/novelty classes on Saturday 19th September on the Upper Sports Field, St Bees Road, Egremont, by kind permission of Messrs. Kirkby, rosettes sponsored by McBride Vintage

2 RIDING THE BOUNDARY Saturday 19th September 2015, Upper Sports Field Rosettes sponsored by McBride Vintage The traditional riding of the boundary will start at 10:45 from the Sports Field, going to the Town centre and back. Lead rein ponies will be allowed with one accompanying adult. Numbers are limited, to register for the ride please contact: Carol Cocklety or Rachael Farrell Orla McBride & Rachael Cocklety will lead the procession side saddle Thanks to the KINGS ARMS for providing the stirrup cup. Joinery Class 37 Neatest, Cleanest Tail Sponsor: R Crayston Haile Class 39 Pony/Horses and Rider Most Suited/Look Alike Sponsor: Nana Willow & Becca Riding Classes after in hand (Ring 1) Class 42 Rider & Groom Race Rider will complete a small jumping course followed by Groom jumping same course. Fastest time wins. Sponsor: J Edgar& son, Rowrah Class 41 Best Ridden Coloured Horse/Pony Sponsor: D Wood Joinery Class 43 Small & Mighty A course of 50 cm jumps will be jumped by novice rider followed by jumps at 70 cm jumped by 2 nd rider fastest team wins. Sponsor: Cinderbanks equestrian or visit our face book page Overall Trophy Wyndham Pony Club have presented a trophy to be awarded to the competitor who collects the maximum number of points from equitation, turn out, games and their best position in leaping. All must be done on the same pony/horse.
