2 PROGRAM ENDURO TOUR SARDINIA 2018 On this especially unique island of Sardinia you will experience maybe one of the most exciting enduro rides ever. With meandering curves, passes und secluded beaches, the second largest Mediterranean island is especially suited for beginners as well as for advanced riders who pride themselves on their ability and style to tackle the variety of roads. You snake your way along the panoramic coastal road, past small coves and bays, pursuing the endless curves and breath-taking rock formations. In the next moment you drive off the sealed roads into the beautiful landscape on crushed dirt roads, leading to the hilly terrains with ist brooks, meadows and solid rock summits.

3 OUR HOTEL Only one hour driving from the airport in Cagliari, in the southeast of Sardinia, is our hotel. Small and fine, so you could describe the hotel. In addition, the pleasant temperatures and a rich breakfast with a touch of fresh sea air. Just a perfect start for an exciting tour, on this beautiful island. Guaranteed fun! Many participants extend their stay and enjoy the time in Sardinia.

5 1st STAGE (approx. 270 KM) On day one we start directly behind our hotel, where after only five minutes we reach a wide dirt road that crosses the mountain range behind it. On curvy roads it brings us to the south-east coast of the Costa Rei. Side-trips to the long beaches of the east coast and a coffee stop on the beach round off this experience. After that, we drive on lonely pass roads to the back country at over 1000 m a.s.l.

6 2nd STAGE (approx. 310 KM) Our 2nd riding day leads us to the southwest point of Sardinia. Steep switchbacks snaking up through dense forest untill you catch a glimpse of the gorgeous Costa del Sud. One of the most beautiful parts of the Sardinian coastline - lonely beaches only guarded by the Saracene towers - is waiting for us

7 3rd STAGE (approx. 270 KM) On many lonely and forgotten roads, we reach the mountainous back country of Sardinia. We cross rivers and drive on roads that have been blocked for decades in order to enjoy an excellent lunch on a plateau. After that, we drive midway through the mountains on roads that cannot be found on any map.

8 4th STAGE (approx. 180 km) The last day presents us with a final highlight, a mix of dirt roads, goat tracks, panorama views and the occasional technical challenge.

10 REQUIREMENTS Off-road experience required. Previous participation in an off-road training is recommended. Conditions Please bring your complete motorcycling gear (helmet, motorcycling boots, gloves, goggles, motorcycling suit with protectors, back protector). 11 LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY On all our trips fun is our main goal. With the classification 1 helmet up to 3 helmets we would like to give you an indication to evaluate your off-road riding skills, for the tour required. Self-evaluation is not easy but the final decision is made only by you. Don`t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions. Our tourguides are all professionally trained BMW instructors from the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen. They are also at your disposal for further questions about the trip or special informations about the routes. = Enduro beginners and advanced enduro riders Driving on asphalt, even on passes with narrow switchbacks are no problem for you. The off-road part is mostly under 30 % of the total distance. The tour is easily manageable also for beginners. Recommendation: If you have no off-road experience at all, we recommend a 1- or 2-day-course in the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen. After that training course it is much easier for you to evaluate your skills and to figure out whether you have fun riding off-road tracks. = Advanced enduro riders Driving on ashalt as well as on gravel, passes with narrow switchbacks (paved and gravel) are no problem for you. Off-road experience is mandatory. The off-road part is mostly over 30 % of the total distance. Challenging sections are possible. Recommendation: This tour is not applicable for participants without any off-road experiences. We recommend a 1- or 2-day training course in the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen. = Very advanced enduro riders This tour is suitable for drivers with advanced off-road experience and good fitness. The daily routes can be pretty long. The tour has generally a lot of off-road parts including demanding and difficult routes. Recommendation: This tour is not recommended for participants without any off-road experiences. We recommend a 1- or 2- day training course in the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen.
