1 Panthers Premier League Netball EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Strength & Conditioning Coach PPLN are seeking Expression of Interest from suitably qualified persons to become the Strength & Conditioning Coach for: Panthers Premier League Netball Open Team and Panthers Premier League Netball U/20 Team. That person will be responsible for: 1. Developing and implementing a quality training program, providing effective physical development. 2. With a particular emphasis on development and implementation of training programs that target power development, namely the development of take off speed and vertical jump. The role although not limited to, will consist of: 1. Develop & implement an Annual Training Plan integrated with the Competition Calendar for PPLN in liaison with PPLN Head Coaches 2. Prepare a home program for PPLN teams to run late December 1 February Base testing of athletes in December and then up to 3 more times using agreed Netball testing protocols. 4. Implementing this program on a weekday evening and/or weekend 5. Available to run recovery sessions and provide recovery home programs 6. Season duration for seniors: December 2015 (pre-season) to 30 August Attend minimum of one match per month for both teams. 8. Structured progress reporting (including weekly attendance report) The Strength & Conditioning Coach will require a range of personal and professional skills including: Qualifications and experience 1. Certificate III & IV in Fitness

2 2. Current First Aid Certificate 3. Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance 4. Fitness Australia registration OR Registered as a Fitness Professional 5. Prior personal training and group fitness experience strongly preferred 6. Working with Children accreditation 7. Ability to meet the duties, attendance and report requirements as agreed. 8. Knowledge of netball 9. Ability to design program specifically for netball 10. Proven ability to work with team sports (preferably female) previously. Knowledge and skills 1. High level of organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. 2. Understands and complies with the relevant PPLN and NNSWPL policies and processes. 3. Understanding of risk management best practice. Computer literate: 1. Able to use word and excel. Personal attributes 1. Αble to build trust and respect. 2. Effective leadership skills, demonstrating a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. 3. Can establish and maintain positive working relationships with, and is accessible to key stakeholders including the Coaches, athletes, and other team personnel.

Pre-Season tournament scheduled from 2 March through 23 March 2016 ii. NNSWPL Competition will begin 18 April The Finals Series will be over three weeks. The Grand Final will be in the week of 22 August Panthers Premier League Netball Training i. Pre-Season to commence Monday 30 November ii. On court Training to commence Monday, 1 February 2016 at State Sports Centre, Sydney Olympic Park 5. Expression of Interest forms must be submitted by 5pm, Friday 7 August Selection Trials for athletes will take place on SUNDAY 23 AUGUST 2015 commencing at 9.30am at State Sports Centre, Sydney Olympic Park. 7.
