UT ARLINGTON COACH SCOTT CROSS Scott Cross has presided over the most successful era in Maverick Basketball since taking over the program in Cross has compiled a record of in his 9th season. Of the top 5 seasons in UT Arlington history, Cross has coached 3 of those teams, including the top 2. The Mavericks have gone to the postseason 3 times under his watch, including back-to-back trips in and That marked the 1st consecutive postseasons in program history. Over that 2-year span, only 2 programs of Texas 21 Division I programs own more wins than the Mavericks 43. UT Arlington had only 1 postseason trip in the 46 years prior to Cross arrival.
