The 2009 club has the single-season franchise yards mark, the 2011 team has the second and the 2012 squad the third. Additionally, in his first year (2007), the club now ranks eighth all time, followed by the 2010 squad in ninth. Below is a year-by-year glimpse at the Cowboys yardage output in each of Garrett s season with the club: Dallas Cowboys Year-by-Year Net Yards (since 2007) BAILEY S BOOTS Dan Bailey closed out the 2012 season converting 29-of-31 field goal tries (93.5%). His 29 field goals made in 2012 tied for fourth in a season in franchise history while his 93.5 field goal percentage was second. Through the end of 2012, Bailey also had 10 games with three-plus field gaols - tied for third in team history. Bailey opened 2013 against the N.y. Giants (9/8) with three field goals to tie him for second with 12 games with three-plus field goals. He took second after connecting on three at Kansas City (9/15). Four times he came through for Dallas. Bailey s four game-winning field goals were the most by a Dallas Cowboy in a single season and the most by a rookie in NFL history. In 2012 Bailey had four opportunities to do the same, and he came through with 0:02 left in the fourth quarter against Cleveland (11/18) to send the game in overtime, then sealed it with a 38-yard kick with 6:07 remaining in the extra period. The second was at Cincinnati when he hit a 40-yarder as time expired and the third was against Pittsburgh (12/16) with a 21-yarder in overtime. In team history, there have now been 35 instances in which a kicker was true on a game-winning field goal with 2:00-or-less left in the fourth quarter or in overtime. Bailey has rang true with seven game-winners to tie Rafael Septien for the most in team history: Dallas Cowboys Game-Winning Field Goals Opp, Date Yards Score Time Left Greene PIT, 9/17/ :00 10/29/ :23 11/13/ :19 11/7/ :53 9/16/ :26 Herrera STL, 11/13/ :04 10/26/ :01 Herrera BAL, 9/26/ :03 10/15/ :28-OT 9/2/ :16 11/4/ :03 Septien TB,10/9/ :38-OT Septien NO, 10/21/ :42-OT Septien NE, 11/22/ :04 10/19/ :02 1/2/ :16-OT Boniol NyG, 12/17/ :00 11/10/ :00 Cunningham WAS, 11/16/ :04 10/1/ :08-OT Seder WAS, 10/15/ :00 9/29/ :00 9/15/ :04-OT Cundiff PHI, 10/12/ :11 Cortez NyG, 10/16/ :47-OT 12/2/ :06 10/8/ :02 12/5/ :01-OT Buehler WAS, 12/19/ :55 9/18/ :10-OT Bailey WAS, 9/26/ :52 11/20/ :47-OT Bailey MIA, 11/24/ :00 Bailey CLE, 11/18/ :07-OT 12/9/ :00 Bailey PIT, 12/16/ :36-OT 16

17 BAILEY S ON ICE Through seven games of the 2013 season, Dan Bailey has converted 11 of his 13 field goal tries, and had a streak of 21 consecutive field goals made snapped when he missed a 35-yarder against St. Louis (9/22). Bailey s previous long streak was 26 and tied Chris Boniol for second in team history. In the Week 2 game at Kansas City (9/15), Bailey was true on all three tries, including a pair from 50-plus yards (51 and a career-long 53). Bailey s two 50-yard field goals converted marked the second time in team history a kicker hit two 50-plus tries in the same game. The first was Eddie Murray at Minnesota, 12/12/93 (51 and 52 yards). Since 2000, a kicker has hit two-or-more 50-plus yard field goals in a game 53 times, and Bailey became the 34th different kicker to accomplish it over that span. For his career, Bailey is seven-of-12 from 50-plus yards and is second in team history in career 50-yarders behind Rafael Septien s eight. MORE RELIABLE IS BETTER Dan Bailey came to Dallas in 2011 as a rookie free agent and immediately earned his spot as the club s place kicker, finishing the season 32-of-37 (86.5%) on field goals for the second-best field goal percentage by a rookie in franchise history. His 32 field goals made were also a club rookie record. He had a streak of 26 consecutive made which were the most by a rookie in NFL history. His second season was an improvement on an already stellar start to a career as he finished with a 93.5 (29-of-31) field goal percentage - second in team history. For his career, Bailey has converted 72-of-81 tries (88.9%), and his 72 field goals made are fourth in team history. With four more field goals, Bailey will pass Riche Cunningham for third all-time in team history. Bailey has also hit all 97 PAT tries - ninth in franchise history. With three more PATs, Bailey will become the ninth Dallas Cowboy to reach 100 career PATs: Dallas Cowboys Career Kicking Charts Field Goals Made Rafael Septien Chris Boniol...81 Richie Cunningham...75 Dan Bailey...72 Mike Clark...69 Field Goal Percentage Dan Bailey Chris Boniol Eddie Murray Richie Cunningham Nick Folk DANNY BOY PATs MADE Rafael Septien Mike Clark Nick Folk Danny Villanueva Toni Fritsch Chris Boniol Efren Herrera Billy Cundiff Dan Bailey...97 Since arriving in Dallas as a rookie free agent in 2010, Danny McCray has emerged as one of the team s all-time great special teams coverage men. Despite seeing extended time on defense due to injuries in 2012, McCray finished second on the team with 18 special teams tackles. By season s end, McCray moved into eighth with 65 career tackles, and can make the top-five with just 12 more stops. McCray missed the 2013 opener (hamstring) but made his season debut in Week 2 at Kansas City (9/15) and finished the game with a pair of special teams tackles. 18 SACK STACKING Through the first seven games of the 2013 season, the Dallas Cowboys defense led by new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin has tallied 20 sacks - tied for seventh in the league. Over the last eight-plus seasons - since Dallas sack leader DeMarcus Ware entered the league - the Dallas Cowboys have racked up the second-most sacks in the league (349). They are tied with Miami and San Diego for the league lead over that span. Dallas sack total since 2005 was bolstered by its effort in 2008 when the club tallied 59 quarterback takedowns - third in a season in franchise history. Three other times in that span the club topped 40 sacks in a season (2007, 09 and 11). Below is a look at Dallas season-by-season sack total since 2005: Dallas Cowboys Year-by-Year Sacks (since 2005) SACK ATTACK The Dallas Cowboys closed out the 2011 season with 42 sacks to tie for seventh in the league. From , Dallas racked up at least 35 sacks each season, but fell short in 2012, posting 34. Thus far in 2013, the club has 20 sacks. He has put together seven straight seasons of 10-or-more sacks to become the first Dallas defender to accomplish that feat. He is the only defender in the league to reach at least 10 sacks through each of the past seven seasons. In 2008 Ware established an official club sack record with a league-leading 20.0 sacks. He followed that up with a 2009 season where he finished with 11.0 sacks. Ware closed out 2010 with 15.5 Ware s 15.5 sacks in 2010 led the league for the second time in his career. 19 B-WARE OF D-WARE DeMarcus Ware exploded in 2008, leading the league with a club-record 20.0 sacks. He was rewarded on Oct. 26, 2009 by signing a six-year contract extension. He opened 2008 with at least one sack in each of the first seven games. Along with his streak of three consecutive games with a sack to close 2007, Ware tied Simon Fletcher (Denver) for the league record with a sack in 10 consecutive games. Ware s record-tying effort came after tying his single-game career-high with three sacks at St. Louis (10/19/08). WARE FORCE When DeMarcus Ware missed the first start of his career at New Orleans (12/19/09) after suffering a neck injury the previous week, he saw time as a reserve in the Saturday night win over the previously undefeated Saints. Credited with sealing the game for Dallas with his second sack/fumble of the contest, Ware emerged as the Dallas Cowboys forced fumble leader (since 1994) with 23 for his career. He snapped a tie with Greg Ellis that night. Since then, Ware has forced nine more fumbles. For his career, Ware has 32 forced fumbles with 26 of them coming off quarterback sacks. Ware finished the 2012 season with five forced fumbles to make six seasons with three-or-more forced fumbles for the linebacker. His six seasons of three-plus forced fumbles is tied for 13th in NFL history, ranks as the fifth-highest figure in league history and is tops in franchise history. Carter also added his first career sack in the win. In the Week 2 matchup at Kansas City (9/15), Lee topped the tackle charts with nine stops while Carter tallied six. Once again, Carter added a sack while Lee narrowly missed on his first career sack. Carter and Lee were atop Dallas tackle charts in the Week 3 game against St. Louis as Lee led the team with 10 tackles while recovering a fumble, and Carter tallied eight to finish second. The Week 4 loss at San Diego (9/29) was a tough pill to swallow for the linebacking duo, but Lee still managed to lead the team with a club-record tying 21 tackles. He tied Eugene Lockhart (vs. Philadelphia - 9/26/71) and his tackle total from the game at Seattle (9/16/12). Lee had 16 solo tackles in the Chargers game to tie Lockhart s club record - against Phoenix, 10/29/89. Lee then topped the tackle charts against Denver (10/6) with 18, giving him the fourth-most in a game in his career. In the Week 6 tangle with Washington (10/13), Lee again led the team with his fourth straight double-digit tackle game (12) and Carter added eight. At Philadelphia (10/20) Lee notched his fifth straight doubledigit tackle game with 11 while intercepting his second pass of the season. Through seven games, Lee leads the team with 78 tackles and Carter is third with 49. HATCH-ED Thus far through six games in 2013, several defensive players seem to be thriving under Monte Kiffin s 4-3 scheme. One player at the forefront of the Dallas defense is eighth-year lineman Jason Hatcher. Hatcher started his career as a reserve lineman, and through hard work and consistency has worked his way as a starter and team leader. Hatcher started all 16 games for the first time in his career and allowed him to post career-bests in tackles (77) while tying his career-best with three tackles for losses and posting the secondbest figures in his career for sacks (4.0) and pressures (25). Already through seven games of 2013, Hatcher has a careerbest 6.0 sacks - tied for ninth in the league. In each of the first three games this season, Hatcher registered a sack giving him the longest streak of games with a sack in his career. He then had his second career multi-sack games with two against Washington (10/13). He is also fourth on the squad with 31 tackles. Hatcher has 22.0 career sacks, and this season has passed Anthony Dickerson and Jimmie Jones (19), Mike Hegman (21.0) and La Roi Glover (21.5) for 20th all-time in team history. 20
