remembered as one of the most exciting players in Florida State men s basketball history and the preeminent building block in Head Coach Leonard Hamilton s mission of making the Seminoles a program of significance in college basketball to a two-time All-ACC selection First-Team in 2004 and Second-Team in 2003 joined only All-American Bob Sura in 1994 as the only two Florida State players to earn All-ACC First-Team honors in school history a two-time All-ACC Defensive Team selection by both the coaches and the media in both 2003 and 2004 totaled 164 steals in only two years at the Division I level and closed his career ranked tied for second in ACC history with a 2.64 steals per game average he is tied with NC State s Chris Corchiani and ranks behind only Maryland s Johnny Rhodes his 164 steals ranks as the seventh highest career total in school history while his 2.64 career steals per game average is the school record finished 33 rd on Florida State s all-time scoring list with 1,038 career points averaged 16.7 points per game during his 62-game career as he started every game of his Florida State career his 16.7 points per game career average is tied for the 17 th -best career average in school history ranks fourth in school history with 194 career 3-points shots made and third in school history with 529 career 3-point shots attempted shot.367 from the field for his two-year career the second best career percentage in school history his single-game career-high six 3-point shots made seven times during his career ranks as the seventh-best single game effort in Carolina in Tallahassee (Jan. 22) scored eight first half points, 16 in the second half and six in the overtime period as he rallied Florida State from as many as 24 down in the first half to gain the win it ranks as the greatest comeback in school history after falling behind (-24 with 5:38 remaining in the first half), the Seminoles outscored the Tar Heels over the final 30:38 of the game Florida State to its victory over No. 10 Wake Forest in Tallahassee (Jan. 25) stunning second-half performance came after his was held scoreless in the first half and helped Florida State outscore Wake Forest, 39-33, over the final 20 minutes of play to help the Seminoles to the victory over their second top-10 team in two games for the first time in school history after making zero field goals in the first half he was six-of-11 from the field including four-of-eight form the 3- point line in the second half scored nine consecutive second half points (all on 3-point shots) to pull Florida Pickett lay-up brought the Seminoles to within one at with 1:20 remaining and two Pickett free throws closed out the scoring with two ticks left on the clock in the victory another near-herculean effort of 23 points, four rebounds and three steals nearly guided the Seminoles to a win in Winston- Salem (Feb. 25) scored 16 first half points as the Seminoles raced to a lead after the first 20 minutes made five 3-point field goals in the game as Florida State unfortunately fell in overtime to the top-10 rankled Deacons (in the NIT against Wichita State and Iowa State) averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals against Wichita State and Iowa State in the NIT an amazing 25-point, seven rebound, four assist, two steals performance to lead Florida State past the Shockers in the first round of the NIT scored 18 points in the second half and two overtime periods to lead the Seminoles to the win most amazing shot was his triple-pump, twisting 3-point shot with six seconds remaining in regulation which sent the game into the first overtime period his shot tied the game at 71 and allowed the Seminoles to have clawed back from as much as a 14-point deficit during the second half two points in the first overtime period and two in the second led the victory scored seven points and pulled down five rebounds in the Seminoles second round home game against Iowa State AS A JUNIOR (2003): All-ACC second-team selection as he led the ACC and tied for fifth in the nation with a 2.83 steals per game average averaged 17.1 points (first on the team), 5.7 rebounds (first) and 2.8 steals (first) as he was one of only three conference players to lead his team in all three categories Pickett was joined by only ACC Player of the Year Josh Howard of Wake Forest and Travis Watson of Virginia as team leaders in all three categories the first Seminole to lead the team in scoring, rebounding and steals since Bob Sura during the season Pickett and Sura are the only two players in school history to lead the Seminoles in all three categories during the same season in the top 15 of eight different statistical categories led the ACC in steals and ranked second in the conference in free throw shooting percentage, second in 3-point shots made per game, sixth in scoring, sixth in

3 defensive rebounds, 11 th in 3-point field goal percentage, 12 th in rebounding, 12 th in field goal percentage tied for fourth in the nation with 82 steals and tied for fourth in the nation with a 2.83 steals per game average as a junior led the ACC in steals with 82 as a junior in 2003 a total ranks tied for the second highest single-season total in school history Pickett had 16 steals more than NC State s Clifford Crawford his closest competition in the ACC race also the Seminoles team leader with 167 field goals made, 437 field goals attempted, 84 3-point shots made, point shots attempted, 33.1 minutes played per game and shot a team-leading.865 from the free throw line ranked among the team leaders in assists (2.1, third), 3-point field goal percentage (.324, fifth) ranked second in the ACC in total shots taken (437) behind only North Carolina s Rashad McCants who took 438 shots led the ACC in 3-point shots taken with 259, ahead of Duke s J.J. Reddick with 238 scored his career-high of 32 points on two occasions against Davidson in the University of Arizona Tournament and against Virginia at home both games were wins for the Seminoles recorded at least one steal in 26 of Florida State s 29 games, multiple steals in 23 games, at least three steals in 15 games, at least four steals in 10 games, at least five steals in four games, at least six steals in two games and recorded his career-high of seven steals against Davidson (Dec. 30) led Florida State in 30-point scoring games with two (against Davidson and Virginia), 20-point
