1 IDAHO PREP BASKETBALL Coaches Please Read the rules Burley Tournament Friday, May 8 th and Saturday, May 9 th, 015 Teams playing in this tournament If you are not 100% sure when you play on Saturday please call Robby Fenk on his cell phone (503) Team Pools 0 1 st Place 1 1 nd Place 0 3 rd Place Pool Play Ties: If you are in a 3 team pool and all 3 teams go 1-1, we will go to point difference up to 15 points to establish 1 st, nd & 3 rd place. 4 Team Pools: THIS RULE WILL NOT BE IN EFFECT DURING THE BURLEY TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND TEAM POOLS There can t be any ties in 4 teams pools Team with wins in the pool 1 st Place Teams that wins their 1 st game and loses their nd game nd Place Team that loses their 1 st game and wins their nd game 3 rd Place Team with losses in the pool 4 th Place Ball Size: 5 th & (8.5 girls ball) Scorekeeper: Idaho Prep will provide scorekeepers for the book and the clock, but these are players from the school we are using. These players are doing this as a fundraiser, so we recommend that you have your scorebook person sit at the score table to help prevent mistakes. If a problem occurs, tell the scorekeeper to buzz the referees and they will stop the game and help correct the problem. Possible Game Times: Possible game times for Friday 5:00 to 11:30 Saturday 9:00 am to 8:00

2 COACHES, HERE IS SOME VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION; 1. If you have any questions or you spot any mistakes on the schedule, call me as soon as possible. You can spot a schedule error because you only have to look at your team. I do make mistakes, I need your help. I am looking at 45 teams, so if you spot any mistakes, call as soon as possible. I will be driving to Burley all day Thursday, my cell phone number is (503) Locate all of your games. By doing this, you need to anticipate that you re going to finish 1 st in your pool. Go through all spots, then nd place, then 3 rd place. This needs to be done so you either catch a mistake and or know how to read the schedule. 3. Teams missing or skipping a game will pay $75.00 to the team that you skipped on or if it is possible they will take one your games. This has happened 7 times in Pocatello. 4. Teams: There are about 4 teams that things got difficult. The games are close together or there are long gaps between games or there are late and early games. I do apologize about these inconveniences. With so many teams traveling and with certain time requests, it makes scheduling very difficult. I strive to do my very best and I hope each and every one will have a great weekend. 5. Halftimes 3 Minute 6. Time-outs 1 minute 7. Hotel Check-out: Teams that need late check out ask; then whatever time they tell you, checkout at the front desk, then wait until the maid shows up, it could be to 3 hours. 8. Ideas if you have gaps in your schedule. Check out the movies, bowling and swimming.

3 Referee Complaints Coaches, if you have issues with our referees, there is a list on the wall that reads exactly as the game schedule. Please note the officials name and the time of the game and call me on Monday night or me with this information, Parents: If you have an issue with a referee, you must direct it through your coach.
