The Peacocks are coming off a split of NSIC games this past weekend. Upper Iowa lost to Augustana, 78-61, but bounced back with a victory over Wayne State, 53-42, on Saturday. This week the Peacocks just have one game on the schedule. UIU will play host to the Bulldogs of Minnesota Duluth in Dorman Gym. The Bulldogs are currently in tied for fifth place in the conference standings. He joined UTPA in July 2004 and oversaw the operation procedures in the basketball office and handled various on-court coaching duties. Before joining UTPA, Dolan spent one season at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho. In his one season there, Dolan led a Golden Eagles team which captured the Region 18 Tournament title and advanced to the National Junior College Men s Basketball Tournament. His team finished after losing in the second round of the National Tournament. At Southern Idaho, Dolan was the team s Academic and Recruiting Coordinator and was responsible for developing scouting reports, breaking down game film, scheduling games and organizing summer camps. From , Dolan was an assistant coach at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, and was also the Director of Summer Basketball Camps for the Thunderbirds. In his last season, Dolan was part of a Southern Utah program that reached the semifinals of the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament. Prior to joining the coaching staff at Southern Utah, Dolan served two seasons at Southwest Missouri State. In 2000, the Bears finished second in the Missouri Valley Conference. SMSU concluded the season with a record and advanced to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament. Dolan served as the administrative assistant for Oral Roberts University in 1998 under current University of Kansas head coach Bill Self. The Golden Eagles won the Mid-Continent Conference regular season title and finished second in the conference tournament that year. After suffering an injury as a freshman basketball player at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., in 1995, Dolan immediately started his coaching career. He became the head coach of the women s junior varsity basketball team as a sophomore, and held the job throughout his senior year. Dolan graduated from William Jewell in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Administration for Collegiate Athletics. ASST. COACH GREG STEPHEN Greg Stephen joined the Upper Iowa men s basketball staff for his first year in August Coach Stephen was the Director of the Iowa Barnstormers basketball program from before stepping down to accept the position at UIU. The Monticello, Iowa native has been involved in AAU basketball for almost 10 years, organizing and coaching the Iowa Mavericks and Iowa Timberwolves programs before joining the Barnstormers in Prior to coaching select teams, Greg was a middle school and high school coach for the Odebolt-Arthur and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn School Districts. In addition to Coach Stephen s assistant coaching duties, he will be the strength and conditioning coach for the men s basketball program. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Coach Stephen was the Director of the Mercy Acceleration Sports Performance Program for Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids for the last seven years. Greg is a graduate of Monticello High School and Buena Vista University (2000) where he earned a degree in ASST. COACH KEVEN BRADLEY Keven Bradley joined the men s basketball program at Upper Iowa University as an assistant coach for his first season in Bradley came to the Peacock staff after serving as an assistant coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. The Omro High School (WI) alum graduated from Lawrence in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education. Bradley transferred to Lawrence for his junior and senior years, where he was named to the All-Midwest Conference Team and Academic All-Midwest Conference his senior year. Lawrence was 25-1 and was ranked #1 in Division III for the last month of the season. Bradley averaged 9.4 points per game and shot 56% from the floor and 36% from three in his final season. His career high of 33 points came against Ripon College when he was 8 of 8 from the floor including 5 of 5 from the arc. Bradley scored his team s final twenty points in the game. Before transferring to Lawrence University, Bradley played two seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He was a player on the Division III National Championship Team. Overall, Bradley finished his collegiate career with a combined record of
