1 Friday Saturday Sunday June Curtis High School University Place
2 June 17, 2014 Coaches, Welcome to the 2014 version of the Curtis Shootout. Once again, we are very excited about attracting some of the very best teams from throughout the entire Pacific Northwest. It promises to be a tremendous weekend of high school basketball. All games will be played at Curtis High School and Curtis Junior High gymnasiums on Friday, June 27 th. We will be using all three courts at the new facilities, as well as the Tacoma Community College court, on both Saturday and Sunday, June 28 th and 29 th. * Remember, every team is guaranteed five (5) games; one Friday and two each on both Saturday and Sunday. * I have attached the Friday schedule, both brackets, and the Sunday schedule, which brings together both brackets for the championship round. Also included are rules, directions, admission prices, and hotel information for you and your traveling parents and fans. The Western Washington Basketball Officials Association will be officiating the Curtis Shootout. As much as possible, I tried to allow for teams traveling from greater distances to play later on Friday. I am assuming that all teams are out of school by that weekend. Please allow for extra time to get through Tacoma traffic, from both directions, on Friday, June 27 th. Also, be sure to make plans to join our Coaches Social on Saturday evening, June 28 th. We will be hosting following the day s action. Finally, if you still have not sent payment of $275 to the Curtis Hoopsters, please do so ASAP. Thank you! Curtis Hoopsters P.O. Box University Place WA We look forward to hosting you and your team at the Curtis Shootout. Thanks for your participation and making our tournament one of the best in the entire Pacific Northwest. See you on Friday, June 27 th. Tim Kelly Curtis HS 2013 State Champions
