Game time is 6:40 p.m. ET / 5:40 p.m. CT. What's at Stake: NDSU is looking for its second Division I NCAA Tournament victory in its fourth tournament appearance. The winner of the North Dakota State-NC Central contest will play No. 1 overall seed Duke in Columbia, S.C., on Friday, March 22, at 7:10 p.m. ET / 6:10 p.m. CT. Where to Watch: The game will be broadcast on trutv with Spero Dedes (play-by-play), Jim Jackson (analyst), Steve Smith (analyst), and Ros Gold-Onwude (sideline) calling the action. NCAA March Madness Live and the March Madness Live app will have live video streaming of every tournament game. NDSU has made 315 threes through 33 games, surpassing the previous record of 294 set in NDSU is on pace to set a school record for free throw percentage in a season. The Bison are shooting 77.4 percent from the line nearly a full percentage point better than the previous record set in Individual Season Records Jared Samuelson is shooting 46.4 percent from three-point range this season, which would rank him sixth on NDSU s all-time season list. Samuelson is shooting 90 percent at the free throw line, which would rank him seventh on NDSU s all-time list. With one start in the NCAA Tournament, Vinnie Shahid and Rocky Kreuser will become the fourth and fifth Bison to ever start 34 games in a season, joining Lawrence Alexander, TrayVonn Wright and Marshall Bjorklund in Individual Career Lists Jared Samuelson ranks fourth on the NDSU career list for three-point shooting, making 43.6 percent for his career. Cameron Hunter is seventh on the list at 42.1 percent. Summit League Tournament Notes Vinnie Shahid was named the 2019 Summit League Tournament MVP after averaging 14.7 points in NDSU s three victories. He shot 56 percent overall and 5-of-9 (56 percent) from beyond the arc. Shahid scored 22 points in the championship game victory over Omaha, with 20 of those points coming in the final 15 minutes. As a team, NDSU made 34-of-70 from three-point range (49 percent) in the tournament. The Bison committed just 19 total turnovers in three Summit League Tournament games an average of 6.3 per contest. Cameron Hunter made 9-of-12 attempts from three-point range in the Summit League Tournament. He scored 31 point on 12 shots in the tournament.

Eady Stepping Up: Redshirt freshman Tyree Eady shot 52.5 percent in league play, including 45 percent from three-point range. They Went to Jared: Junior Jared Samuelson scored a season-high 18 points on six threepointers in NDSU s victory over Oral Roberts on Valentine s Day. Winning Streak: NDSU s five-game winning streak in late January and early February was its first since the season. NDSU won five straight in Summit League play that year between Jan. 29 and Feb Wins: The victory over Denver on Feb. 9 was the 90th career win for NDSU head coach David Richman. 4 BISON Men s BASKETBALL 4 Deng Good: Deng Geu erupted for 20 points to lead the Bison back from a doubledigit second-half deficit in the league opener on Dec. 29, earning a win over South Dakota. Geu poured in his 20 points on 9-of- 13 shooting the second-highest scoring output of his career. The Bison outscored the Coyotes over the final 16 minutes of the contest. Kreuser's Career Night: Bison sophomore forward Rocky Kreuser scored a careerhigh 23 points in the season opener at New Mexico State on Nov. 6, shooting 9-of-11 for the game and 5-for-6 from beyond the arc. It was just the third double-digit scoring performance of Kreuser's young career. Making Shots: NDSU ranked among the top 60 teams in the nation in all three shooting categories last season. The Bison were 33rd in free throw percentage, 50th in three-point percentage, and 58th in field goal percentage. Experience: Junior Tyson Ward was NDSU s most experienced returner this year, having played in 62 games for an average of 23.6 minutes per game over the past two seasons. Junior Deng Geu was next on the list, playing in the same 62 games over two seasons, averaging 12.0 minutes. Picked Fifth: The Bison were picked to finish fifth in The Summit League this season, according to the annual preseason poll of league head coaches, sports information directors and media. South Dakota State topped the preseason poll with all but two first-place votes. South Dakota came in second, Denver was third, and Purdue Fort Wayne was fourth in front of the Bison. Preseason 2nd Team: Tyson Ward was voted to the preseason All-Summit League second team. Ward is NDSU s top returning scorer (11.8 ppg), and he led the Bison in rebounding as a sophomore last season with 5.9 boards per game. High Percentage: Deng Geu posted a.623 field goal percentage last season as a sophomore, ranking ninth on the NDSU alltime single-season list. Three-Point Record: The Bison set a school record with 294 three-pointers made last season, breaking the previous high of 284 set in the season. NDSU averaged 9.2 three-pointers made per game. At The Line: The Bison were historically good at the free throw line last season, shooting 76.1 percent for the year. That percentage ranks second-best in school history. Horn Can Play: Bison sophomore guard Jordan Horn has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and will be eligible to compete immediately for the Bison, head coach David Richman announced eight days prior to the season opener. Horn played in 30 games and made 13 starts for Siena as a true freshman last season, averaging 7.9 points per game. He led Siena with 48 three-pointers made on the season, including eight treys in a game at Memphis on Dec. 20. Overseas Action: Bison junior Deng Geu played three games for Uganda s national team in FIBA World Cup qualifying this summer, averaging a double-double and leading the tournament in rebounding. Geu averaged 13.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. Top Attendance: For each of the past two seasons, the Bison led The Summit League in attendance at home games. NDSU topped the league in both attendance categories overall average, and average for conference games. The Bison averaged 3,159 fans at conference home games in 2018 the only Summit League school to top the 3,000 mark for the second straight year. Top 3-Point Shooting League: For the second season in a row, The Summit League was the top three-point shooting conference in all of Division I. Summit League teams combined to shoot 37.2 percent from beyond the arc in the season. In , the Summit League led all conferences by more than one full percentage point, shooting 37.9 percent for the year. Championship Caliber: NDSU has swept the Summit League regular season and tournament titles three times in the past 10 years (2009, 2014, 2015), winning a school-record 26 games in both and Four Straight: The Bison recorded four straight 20-win seasons for just the second time in school history from NDSU also played in four consecutive Summit League Tournament championship games during those years, winning the title in 2014 and 2015.
