North Lamar Athletes Honored at Sports Banquet Paris, TX, May 11, 2011 The North Lamar Athletic Booster Club honored the high school athletes at a sports banquet last night at the Love Civic Center. Head coaches from each sport recognized their teams then presented awards to those athletes who stood out during the year. Former head coach of the Pantherette basketball team for 28 years, Sheila Daughtrey, was surprised with a banner in honor of her 500 career wins. Coach Daughtrey has announced her retirement from coaching.
