Boise State is coming of an impressive performance in the conference opener at home against New Mexico winning by 19 points, Air Force is coming in off a road loss at Colorado State Wednesday afternoon. The Broncos enter the contest on a three-game win streak with victories over Utah Valley (85-64) in Boise, a road win at New Mexico State (56-53), followed by the win against New Mexico. Saturday s encounter will feature the MW s top scoring offense in Boise State averaging 72.4 points per game versus Air Force s sixth ranked offense at 57.5 ppg. Boise State is being out scored by seven points per game when on the road. Conversely they are winning by 11.3 points per game at home, more than an 18-point swing between the two. Boise State is led by senior guard Kati Isham who is the current MW Player of the Week (Jan. 9). She is averaging a Mountain West second-best 15.4 points per game while leading the league in 3-pointers made per game at 2.4, ranking 41st nationally. She is also 41st nationally in 3-point percentage hitting 39 percent (39-of-100) to rank second in the MW. Lauren Lenhardt follows Isham in scoring on the team and is ranked 6th in the MW at 12.8 ppg. She is leading the conference and ranked 29th nationally in field goal percentage at 54.5 percent. The Broncos won their inaugural MW game Wednesday (Jan. 11) night over New Mexico in Boise. The Broncos are 14-5 all-time against the current membership of the MW. Boise State joins Colorado State University, San Diego State University, Texas Christian University (TCU), University of Nevada - Las Vegas (UNLV), University of New Mexico, University of Wyoming and the U.S. Air Force Academy as members of the Mountain West. The Mountain West is the sixth conference that the women s basketball program has been affiliated with since the inaugural season of Overall, the Broncos have been league rivals with 40 different schools (including the seven in the MW this year) in 42 years. Boise State s all-time record in conference games is (.503 pct). The Broncos left the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) last summer following ten years of membership. Boise State in Conference Openers Boise State is all-time in conference openers, 10-3 in openers when played in Boise and 9-13 when playing on the road. The Broncos had lost two consecutive conference openers until defeating the UNM Lobos Wednesday night. In 10 years of WAC membership the Broncos opened at home only three times. They went 3-7 in openers overall during that time span. Broncos Get 600th Win (1/11/2012) - Wednesday s win over New Mexico gave Boise State its 600th win in program history. The Broncos are (.548) entering the Air Force game. Boise State Versus Air Force Boise State and Air Force have met two times previously with the Broncos winning both encounters. The two programs played a home-and-home series during the and seasons. Boise State won the first meeting at the Air Force Academy on Nov. 22, The second game was in Boise on Dec. 10, 2004 when the blue and orange won in Bronco Gym. A Quick Look at Air Force The Falcons enter the game at 5-11 overall and 0-1 in league play. They have lost two straight with defeats at home to Longwood (59-48) last Saturday and Wednesday s set back at Colorado State to open conference action. Air Force was picked to place seventh, just ahead of Boise State, in the MW preseason poll. The Falcons are lead by Alicia Leipprandt averaging 14.6 points per game (3rd MW) and Preseason All-MW honoree Dymond James averaging 11.5 points and team-high 6.9 rebounds. As a team Air Force ranks sixth in the MW for scoring at 57.5 points per game and eighth in points allowed at 68.5 per game. This is Andrea Williams second year as Air Force s head coach where she has a record. Next Up Boise State will host Colorado State University in a nationally television game starting at 6:00 p.m. (Mountain) Tuesday night on The Mountain West Sports Network (The Mtn.). This will be the first meeting as conference rivals and the third all-time with Boise State leading the series 2-0. Boise State defeated Colorado State at Fort Collins, on Dec. 18, 1989, then won the second meeting in Boise on Nov. 29, 1991 during the Real Dairy Classic. High Scoring Broncos Boise State continues to be the hottest shooting team in the Mountain West hitting a conferencehigh for field goal percentage at 42.9 percent from the floor, second-best 3-point percentage of 34.2

Their shooting success has led to a league best 72.4 points per game, five and a half points better than second-place San Diego State at 66.9 ppg. The Broncos are ranked nationally for scoring offense (43rd), field goal percentage (36th), 3-point percentage (51st), 3-pointers made per game (53rd), free throw percentage (55th) and assists (63rd), as of 1/9/2012. Kati Isham leads the team from the free-throw line with a team-best 83.3 percent (45-54) to rank fourth in the MW. Nicole Brady is next at 80 (24-30) but has not had enough attempts to be ranked. All five starters are shooting over 40 percent from the floor this season. Lauren Lenhardt leads at 54.5 percent followed by Heather Pilcher at 44.2 pct., Kati Isham and Kinzi Poteet at 42.9 pct. each, while Nicole Brady is at 40.4 pct. Lenhardt leads the MW and is 29th nationally in field goal percentage. Eight of 11 active Broncos have hit at least one 3-pointer this year and five have 10 or more. Kati Isham leads with 39 followed by Diana Lee with 16, Nicole Brady with 15 and Lauren Lenhardt with 14. Isham leads the MW in 3-pointers made per game at 2.4 and is second in 3-point percentage at 39 percent (39-100), Lee ranks fourth hitting 36.4 percent (16-44). Balanced attack, Boise State has a relatively balanced attack with five players averaging over seven points per game with a high of 15.4 ppg by Kati Isham and a low of 7.0 ppg by Kinzi Poteet. Boise State has done a good job of passing the ball around leading the MW in assists at 14.1 per game, 63rd nationally. Four Broncos are ranked in the MW top 11 for assists with Pilcher fifth (2.8 apg) followed by Lee and Lister at ninth (2.5 apg), as well as Isham 11th (2.4 apg). Eight Broncos are averaging over 13 minutes per game with the other three over seven. The Broncos Defensively Defensively, the Broncos are seventh in the MW for scoring defense giving up 66.8 points per game. They are seventh in field goal defense allowing teams to shoot 40 percent from the floor. Boise State is fourth in the MW for 3-point defense holding opponents to 29.1 percent from beyond the arc. The Broncos on the Glass The Broncos are third in the MW for rebound defense holding teams to 35 boards per game. Boise State is tied for fourth in the MW for rebound offense averaging 39.6 per game. Boise State has out rebounded all but three teams (four games) this season and is third in the conference in rebound margin at +4.6, which ranks 70th nationally. The Broncos average 10 offensive boards a game, good for an average of 12.4 points per game on second chance points. Broncos to Watch Kati Isham, Senior Guard - led Boise State last year in scoring at 12.7 points per game and shot a team-high 37 percent (70-189) from 3-point range. This year she is ranked second in the MW averaging 15.4 points per game. She is shooting 42.9 percent from the floor (t-9th MW), 39 percent from long range (2nd MW) and 83.3 percent (4th MW) from the free-throw line. Lauren Lenhardt, Junior Forward/Center - Lenhardt was second in scoring last year as a starter averaging 12.2 points per game and second-best 5.6 rebounds. She has moved back into starting lineup after recovering from an injury suffered during October s training period. This year she is averaging at 12.8 points per game (6th MW) and 6.1 rebounds (12th MW). She leads the MW and is ranked 29th nationally in field goal percentage hitting 54.5 percent from the floor. Lenhardt was named MW Player of the Week on Nov. 28. Diana Lee, Sophomore Guard - She was a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) All-Freshmen Team honoree last year. This year she is averaging 6.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists (t-9th MW). Lee is ranked fourth in the MW for 3-point percentage hitting 36.4 percent (16-44). Nicole Brady, Redshirt-senior forward - Brady is averaging 9.6 points and team-high 7.3 rebounds (5th MW) per game. She has five games with 10-plus boards including a career-high 13 against Weber State. Brady has two doubles-doubles recording 10 points and 11 boards versus Southern Oregon, in addition to a career-high 30 points to go with 11 rebounds at Utah State on Nov. 23. Kinzi Poteet, Junior Forward - Poteet has the only Bronco to start all 16 games averaging 7.0 points and second-best 6.7 rebounds per game (10th MW). 4 4 BRONCO NOTEBOOK - Game Day Notes Heather Pilcher, Senior Guard/Wing - Pilcher is having a strong senior season shooting 44.2 percent (8th MW) from the floor averaging 7.7 points to go with 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists (5th MW) per game. Last Time Out: New Mexico Game Recap, Jan. 11 The Broncos won their conference opener and first Mountain West game over New Mexico in Boise on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Boise State never trailed in the contest taking an eight-point (35-27) lead into the half before blowing the game open in the second period. The Broncos opened the final 20 minutes of action on fire with a 10-0 run two minutes into the half. Combined with an 8-4 run at the end of the first period Boise State seized momentum with an 18-4 surge and never looked back. Isham scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half including six during the 10-0 run to break the game open. Lenhardt finished the night with a season-high 23 points going nine-of-16 from the floor and threeof-four from the arc. She added a team second-best six rebounds and two blocks to her totals in 24 minutes of action. Recently For the Broncos (Dec. 31-Jan. 7) Boise State has played two games since Christmas defeating Utah Valley on Dec. 31 in Boise and a victory at New Mexico State on Jan. 7. The Broncos won by an average of 12 points per game during the two game stretch. Kati Isham led the Broncos averaging 21.5 points per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the floor, 42.9 percent (6-14) from the arc and a perfect nine-for-nine from the free-throw line. Nicole Brady and Lauren Lenhardt averaged 10.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. During the two games the Broncos shot 41.9 percent from the floor, 31.6 percent from 3-point range and 72.4 percent from the charity stripe. Opponents shot 37.5 percent from the floor, 30.6 percent from the arc and 59.3 percent from the free-throw line. New Mexico State Game Recap, Jan. 7 Boise State won its second game on the road this year by rallying from 12 points down in the first half to defeat NMSU 56-53, the second win over NMSU this season. The Broncos trailed for the first 35 minutes of the game before rallying for the win. Kati Isham led the Bronco rally with 23 points, she scored 17 in the second period including 10 of Boise State s last 12 points to secure the victory. She earned MW Player of the Week honors for the performance. No one else scored in double digits. Boise State struggled shooting the ball finishing the game at 34.8 percent from the floor, 15.8 percent (3-19) from the arc and 77.8 percent (7-9) from the free-throw line. Coach Presnell At Boise State: Coach Presnell is (.588) in his seventh season at Boise State. Career Record: is the 25th year for Gordy Presnell as a collegiate head coach with a overall mark of (.710). Presnell is (.737) at home as the head coach of the Broncos. In 25 years he has an overall record of (.842) at home all-time while at Seattle Pacific and Boise State. In the previous 24 years, coach Presnell has had 22 winning seasons, one at.500 and one losing campaign Season Honors Lauren Lenhardt (11/28/2011) was named the Mountain West Player of the Week on Nov. 28 for her performances at Utah State and against UC Riverside at home. For the week, Lenhardt averaged 19.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game to go along with two assists, two blocked shots and three steals. She shot.571 (16-28; 8-14 in each game) from the field, including.286 (2-7) and (4-4) from the free throw line. Kati Isham (1/9/2012) led the Broncos to a road win at New Mexico State. She scored a season-high 23 points while shooting 47.1 percent (8-17) from the floor, including 28.6 (2-7) from three-point range and a perfect five-for-five from the free throw line. Broncos to Play Nine Games Against 2011 WNIT Teams Boise State finished a stretch of four consecutive games (Nov ) against teams that participated in last year s WNIT going 2-2. The Broncos won over Pepperdine in Boise, lost at Utah State, defeated UC Riverside and lost to Syracuse, both in Boise. Since those four games the Broncos lost to Utah State in Boise by a score and is now 2-3 versus the WNIT group. Overall this year, Boise State will play nine games (nearly a third of its schedule) against six teams that went to last year s WNIT: Pepperdine, Utah State (twice), UC Riverside, Syracuse, as well as league rivals TCU (twice) and Wyoming (twice). 6 6 BRONCO NOTEBOOK - Game Day Notes NLI Boise State Women s Basketball Signs Miquelle Askew to NLI BOISE, Idaho (Nov. 9, 2011) - Boise State University s head women s basketball coach Gordy Presnell announced this morning that Miquelle Askew has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Broncos next fall. Askew is a talented 6-3 center from South Jordan, Utah, where she was a first team all-state honoree as a junior. She is the first recruit of the recruiting class to sign an official NLI with Boise State. We are excited for Miquelle to join our Bronco basketball family, said Presnell. Miquelle is an outstanding young lady and student. She is one of the top post players in the west and has a huge upside. We look forward to Miquelle being an inside presents on our team. Askew is currently a senior at Skyline High School in South Jordan, Utah, where she enters her fourth season as a starter at center for the Eagles varsity team. Askew averaged 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists, four blocks and one steal per game as a junior. She earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a freshman and sophomore, while receiving first team all-conference and all-state honors last year as a junior. Last Year Boise State experienced its first losing season under coach Presnell going overall and 3-13 in WAC play. It was Presnell s first losing season as a head coach in 24 years. He brought with him a mild and laid back demeanor, 18 years of head coaching experience and a long record of success. Upon his arrival on campus, Presnell made an immediate impact on the struggling Broncos. He inherited a program that had not experienced a winning season in the previous seven years and struggled to record double-digit wins. He immediately earned the trust and respect of everyone involved with the program. He slowly rebuilt the team s identity instilling a sense of confidence and purpose. In the first six years under his direction, the Broncos have gone (.585) overall recording four winning seasons and one at.500. After going in his first year ( ) the Broncos recorded four consecutive-winning seasons, including a school-record 24 wins in both the (24-9) and (24-8) campaigns. Presnell s teams have gone (.542) in WAC games and an impressive (.739) at home in Boise, including a perfect 14-0 in Combined with his upbeat coaching personality and knowledge of the game, Presnell has led the Bronco program through a renaissance, becoming winners on and off the court. His teams were routinely ranked among the top scoring and rebounding teams in the WAC and have set numerous school records along the way. In six years, his teams set the school s season rebounding record three times and the scoring record twice. Program honors during his tenure at Boise State include: winning back-to-back WAC regular-season crowns in 2007 and 2008; the 2007 WAC Tournament title; one NCAA Tournament appearance in 2007 and one WNIT second-round appearance in 2008; five postseason All-WAC honors, the program had none prior to his arrival, six WAC All-Freshmen Team, two WAC All-Defensive Team honors; and a combined 29 Academic All-WAC honors by 13 individuals. In 2007, Presnell led the team to new heights with a 24-9 overall record, they won the league regular-season crown and WAC Tournament title advancing to the program s first postseason national tournament since the 1998 WNIT. For his coaching performance he was named the Western Athletic Conference and WBCA Division I Regional Coach of the Year. PRIOR TO BOISE STATE Prior to taking over at Boise State, Presnell coached for 18 successful years at Seattle Pacific University in Washington. At SPU, he inherited a program that had not recorded a winning season in the previous nine years. He built the Falcons into a NCAA Division II national power, accumulating an overall record of 396 victories with 127 defeats (.757). Along the way his teams amassed an average of 22 wins per season while claiming seven conference championships, including four of his last five seasons. In addition, his teams were an impressive (.884) at home in Broughman Pavilion, including five unbeaten home seasons. On the national scene under Presnell, the Falcons advanced to nine-straight ( ) and 10 of 11 NCAA Division II tournaments while he was in Seattle. Overall, Seattle Pacific made postseason appearances in 13 of his 18 years, 10 NCAA and three NAIA. Presnell s teams reached three NCAA Division II Elite Eights and advanced to the 2005 national title game. At the time of his departure from Seattle Pacific in the summer of 2005, Presnell was ranked tied for 10thplace nationally among NCAA Divison II coaches for win percentage (.757) and 21st for total victories. COACHING HIGHLIGHTS In 24 years as a collegiate head coach Presnell has experienced 22 winning sesaons and one at.500. His teams have won a combined nine regular-season titles, seven at SPU and two at Boise State. In addition, he has guided 15 of his 24 squads into postseason national tournaments. During his career he has been named conference coach of the year eight times, WBCA Regional Coach of the Year five times (four at NCAA Division II level and one at Division I), and the WBCA NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year twice. His coach of the year honors now total 15 in 24 years. His student-athletes have accumulated numerous honors along the way: one All-American; six individuals have earned nine honorable mention All-American awards; five league players of the year; seven freshman/newcomers of the year; 28 players have combined for 45 all-conference honors; six conference all-freshmen; two all-defensive; 28 individuals have combined for 68 academic all-conference honors; 10 combined for 12 national academic honors including two academic All-Americans. PERSONAL Presnell, a Lapwai, Idaho, native graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, in 1983 with a B.A. in physical education. He continued his studies in physical education at Seattle Pacific University, where he earned a master s degree in He and his wife, former SPU gymnast Susan Nolte, live in Meridian, Idaho. CALAMITY McENTIRE Assistant Coach Boise State: Fourth Year Career: Eighth Year Alma Mater: Tennessee, 2003 Hometown: Kiowa, Okla. AT BOISE STATE (2002-present) Heather Sower (pronounced SO-wer) enters her 10th season as an assistant at Boise State University, her alma mater. She is now in her 17th season as a collegiate coach. Sower is primarily responsible for the internal operations of the program and opponent scheduling. She is also heavily involved in practice sessions, conditioning and serves as the position coach for post players. As a member of the Boise State coaching staff she has helped guide the program toward two regular-season championships, one conference tournament title and two postseason tournament berths in the 2007 NCAA and 2008 WNIT. During her tenure the team has set new school records for scoring twice and for rebounding three times, as well as recording the top-five rebounding marks all-time in the program s history. At Boise State, Sower has coached four individuals who earned a combined five postseason All-Western Athletic Conference honors, one WAC Newcomer of the Year, two WAC All-Defensive Team members, two players to a combined three WAC All-Tournament Team honors (including one MVP), nine who made the WAC All- Freshmen Team, 21 Broncos that received a total of 45 Academic All-WAC honors and two individuals who garnered ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District recognition. PRIOR TO BOISE STATE Sower spent seven years coaching in the NAIA and NCAA Division II ranks with the College of Idaho and Regis University, respectively. She has extensive experience in recruiting, game-day strategies, position coaching, scouting and conditioning. Prior to Sower s arrival at Boise State she spent the season as an assistant coach at Regis University in Denver, Colo. Sower helped guide the Rangers to their most successful campaign in program history as they finished with a 21-8 overall record and advanced to their first NCAA Division II Tournament in Sower began her coaching career as an assistant under Todd Corman at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, when the school reinstated the women s basketball program for the season. She spent six seasons ( to ) with the Coyotes, helping guide the program to a top-10 national ranking and to the 2000 NAIA National Tournament Elite Eight, as well as, a runner-up finish at the 2001 NAIA National Tournament. While she was at the College of Idaho, the Coyotes received three NAIA National Tournament bids in six years and accumulated an overall record of COACHING ACCOMPLISHMENTS In 15 years as a collegiate coach her teams have recorded 11 winning seasons and one that finished with a.500 mark. Her coaching accomplishments include working with 10 players who combined for 16 all-conference honors, two who earned alldefensive team recognition, one freshman of the year, nine all-freshmen and three players who made conference all-tournament teams with one MVP. In addition, 26 individuals earned a combined total of 56 academic honors. BOISE STATE PLAYING CAREER Sower played four years of women s basketball at Boise State University, earning All-Big Sky Conference honors as a senior. She was also named to the 1994 Big Sky All-Academic Team. Sower, who served as a captain, won team awards for best defense and hustle in her final season as a Bronco. Sower helped lead Boise State to a top-20 ranking and an appearance in the 1994 NCAA Tournament her senior year. Boise State captured the Big Sky Conference regular season crown during Sower s sophomore and senior campaigns. BOISE STATE TENURE (2008-present) Calamity McEntire enters her fourth season at Boise State in She has been coaching in the collegiate ranks for eight years. As a member of coach Presnell s staff, her primary responsibility is serving as the program s recruiting coordinator. McEntire s other duties include scouting, assisting with team workouts and coaching the guards. As recruiting coordinator she has brought five individuals to campus that made the WAC All- Freshmen team. At Boise State, McEntire has coached one individual who earned postseason All-Western Athletic Conference First Team honors, two WAC All-Defensive Team members, 11 Broncos that received a total of 17 Academic All-WAC honors, and two individuals who garnered ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District recognition. PRIOR TO BOISE STATE McEntire comes to Boise State after spending two years at UC Santa Barbara where she served as Director of Women s Basketball Operations. At UC Santa Barbara, McEntire was responsible for organizing film exchange, team travel, coordinating camps and clinics, spearheaded fund raising activities and assisting with on-campus recruiting. Before working at UC Santa Barbara, McEntire was an assistant coach at Fresno State from 2004 to In addition to on-floor coaching at Fresno State, she managed recruiting, monitored academic progress of student athletes, and oversaw the program s community outreach endeavors. During her time at Fresno State, she helped the Bulldogs advance to the Postseason Women s National Invitation Tournament. COACHING ACCOMPLISHMENTS During her eight years as a collegiate coach her teams have recorded six winning seasons. Her coaching accomplishments include working with three players who combined for four all-conference honors, three who earned all-defensive team recognition, five all-freshmen team honorees and one player who made conference all-tournament team. In addition, 18 individuals earned a combined total of 29 academic honors. PERSONAL McEntire, a native of Kiowa, Okla., graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2003 with a degree in education majoring in sports management. While at Tennessee, she worked as an equipment manager for the Lady Vols from May 2001 to July She also worked as the equipment manager/gym director for the Pat Summitt Summer Basketball Camp from During her two-year tenure with the Lady Vols, McEntire oversaw equipment operations, coordinated fund-raising and marketing efforts, and assisted the coaching staff in areas such as recruit planning, monitoring academic progress of student athletes and additional administrative duties. McEntire played two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State University where she led the Mountaineers to a Region II Championship and a No. 4 national ranking. She served as a student assistant coach for half of a season at EOSC and has also coached at the AAU level in Canadian, Okla. PERSONAL Sower is a native of Spokane, Wash., where she attended Mead High School. She graduated from Boise State in 1995 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.

BOISE STATE TENURE (2011-present) Ben Finkbeiner is in his first season with the Broncos as he joined the Boise State staff on July 1, Finkbeiner s primary responsibilities are to assist with recruiting and on-floor coaching. This year will mark the sixth season for Finkbeiner as a collegiate coach. PRIOR TO BOISE STATE Finkbeiner comes to Boise State after three seasons as an assistant coach at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, N.M. He served as the recruiting coordinator, guard position coach, defense coach, strength and conditioning coach and assisted with scouting. This past year NMJC recorded a 20-win season going and 6-6 in league. In , Finkbeiner helped guide the team to the program s first postseason appearance in eight years, finishing third in the conference with a overall mark. During coach Finkbeiner s first season, , the Lady T-Birds had a 17 win campaign, an improvement of 14 wins over the previous year. In his final two seasons at NMJC he coached five Lady T-Birds to all-conference honors, two to all-conference honorable mention and one player to NJCAA All-Region 5 honors. Prior to New Mexico Junior College, Finkbeiner spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach for the University of Central Oklahoma s men s basketball team in Edmond, Okla. The UCO Bronchos finished the season with a 28-6 record while reaching the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Before UCO, Finkbeiner served as the director of basketball operations for the Oral Roberts University women s basketball team in Tulsa, Okla. He assisted the program in winning the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament, as well as earning a berth into the NCAA Tournament. PERSONAL While attending Oral Roberts University, Finkbeiner ran track and pole vaulted during his freshman year. He played one year of college basketball at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, before returning to ORU to coach. Finkbeiner received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Oral Roberts University in 2006, and his Master of Education Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in He is married to the former Alycia Seay, the couple will move to Boise this summer. Ben s father Jerry is the head women s basketball coach at Oral Roberts University and his grandfather Myron Finkbeiner is the founder of the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame in Boise. AT BOISE STATE (2010-present) Cariann Ramirez is in her second year as director of basketball operations at Boise State. Ramirez returned to her alma mater where she played for the Bronco program from the fall of 2001 through the spring of As director of basketball operations, Ramirez s responsibilities include administrative duties of organizing the day-today operations of the basketball office, coordinating travel, equipment and film exchange, as well as organizing summer camps, clinics, community service, on-campus recruiting, alumni relations and the Little Broncos Club. PRIOR TO BOISE STATE Since graduating from Boise State in 2005, Ramirez stayed active in basketball throughout the Treasure Valley in various capacities. She worked as the assistant varsity coach at Boise High School from 2005 through June of 2009, where she worked with another former Bronco, Kim Brydges ( ). At Boise High she assisted with practice planning, on-court coaching, scheduling and organizing camps, team building exercises and player development. Ramirez left Boise High to become an assistant coach at the College of Idaho for the season where she helped guide the Coyotes through an impressive season. The program s accomplishments included: finishing the season at 21-8 overall, 14-4 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play, winning the CCC regular-season title, winning the school s first league tournament title, finishing ranked 20th-nationally in NAIA Division II, and advancing to the NAIA National Tournament.
