THREE OF A KIND: Cavs rookie Kyrie Irving was named as the NBA s Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for games played in the month of March. Irving has now taken home the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month award three times this season. Irving appeared in 15 games in March and averaged 19.9 points on.458 shooting, 5.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 32.3 minutes per game. During the month, Irving ranked first in scoring, three-point percentage (.413), free throw percentage (.881) and assists, and finished second in field goal percentage and steals (1.5) among Eastern Conference rookies. REACHING FOR THE STARS: Kyrie Irving is putting together one of the most stellar rookie campaigns in Cavaliers and NBA history. His averages in scoring, assists, field goal percentage, three-point percentage and free throw percentage place him in rare company amongst many former All-Stars and Hall of Fame players in their inaugural campaigns. Irving is currently within reach of the following rookie milestones: Irving is currently averaging 18.8 points and 5.7 assists per game.
