6 Man Transition Drill to Start ractice Man Transition Drill Man Transition Drill Lay-up RUNNIN LANES Coach To start the drill, four players line up circling in the lane. Coach takes a shot, and rebounds the basketball. The "/" shaded areas are where the wing players should run. The "" shaded area is where the post man should run. takes the ball out-of-bounds and passes to running up the floor. On the shot, runs to the sideline and then turns and pivots toward the ball. then makes a cut up the floor looking to catch the ball in stride. and both run wide on the sideline and then curve toward the basket looking for a lay-up. In this frame, passes to. There should be no dribbling in the drill. asses only. Man Transition Drill Lay-up After passing the ball to, runs the length of the floor and tries to get the ball out of the net before it hits the ground. again runs to the sideline then cuts up the floor. and run wide for a lay-up. The goal is to complete as many lay-ups as possible in seconds.

9 Frame - Big Step Lay-up to Start ractice Team Shooting Drill Frame - Cross Step Lay-up Start with two lines and four basketballs. The four basketball start in the BALL line (in this example on the left), and the other players start in the ASS line. passes to, then cuts toward the top of the key. passes the ball back to, who faces up to the basket and then steps with his right foot and attacks the rim. should only use one dribble to get to the basket. rebounds the shot and dribbles out toward the opposite corner. passes to the last man in the BALL line. clears out to the opposite side and fills the ASS line. In this frame, catches the ball and after squaring up takes a cross-step with his right foot toward the left side of the basket. Again, it should only take one dribble to reach the rim. Frame - Big Step Frame - Cross Step In this frame, squares up to the basket and takes a big step with his right foot and shoots a shot at the elbow. In this frame, takes a cross step with his right foot toward the left elbow and shoots a shot.

11 to Start ractice Fast Break - Transition Offense Drill Frame - Free-Throw Frame - on x x x x The drill starts with shooting a free-throw. x and x play two on one vs.. x and x line up for the rebound. x and x talk and designate who has the shooter on the missed shot.
