2 STEELERS RADIO COVERAGE MEDIA NOTES WEEKLY PRESS CONFERENCE Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin will conduct a press conference on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Noon (LIVE on ROOT Sports) in the Steelers press conference room at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. For the 18th consecutive year, WDVE-FM (102.5) and WBGG-AM (970) are carrying all Steelers games. 3 2016 SCHEDULE NOTES The Steelers have won each of their three primetime games in 2016: a Kickoff Weekend Monday Night Football victory at the Washington Redskins (38-16), a Week Four Sunday Night Football win vs. Kansas City at Heinz Field (43-14) and a Thursday Night Football win on Thanksgiving Day at the Indianapolis Colts (28-7). Pittsburgh will host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16 (NFL Network, 4:30 p.m.) on Dec. 25 to mark the fi rst Christmas Day game in franchise history. COLOR RUSH ON CHRISTMAS DAY Pittsburgh will debut its color rush uniforms on Christmas Day when the team hosts the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field. Steelers President Art Rooney II announced during halftime of the team s fi rst preseason game on KDKA-TV that the team s color rush uniforms will be all black with gold numbers. The Steelers are now 14-8 in regular-season history against the Bills (6-7 on the road). The Steelers have won six consecutive regularseason games against the Bills, including each of the previous four at Buffalo. Pittsburgh improved to 3-1 in regular-season games against Buffalo in the month of December (1-1 on the road in the month). Pittsburgh has won each of its last three road games. CINCINNATI Pittsburgh 24, Cincinnati 16 September 18, 2016 Heinz Field (65,072) PITTSBURGH - For the second consecutive game, QB Ben Roethlisberger threw three touchdown passes to help lift the Steelers to victory, this time, 24-16, over the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field. Roethlisberger s fi rst touchdown pass, a 20-yarder, was thrown to TE Xavier Grimble late in the fi rst quarter. It marked Grimble s fi rst career reception. Cincinnati K Mike Nugent connected on a 25-yard fi eld goal with less than one minute to go in the fi rst quarter to cut the lead to 7-3. K Chris Boswell s 49-yard fi eld goal gave the Steelers a 10-3 advantage late in the second quarter. Nugent made a 33-yarder as time expired in the second quarter, and Pittsburgh led 10-6 at the break. TE Jesse James caught a nine-yard touchdown from Roethlisberger midway through the third quarter to extend the Steelers lead to Nugent s 21-yard fi eld goal late in the third quarter got the Bengals within one score, Midway through the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger threw a four-yard touchdown to RB DeAngelo Williams to give Pittsburgh a 24-9 lead. EIGHT IN EACH OF FIRST NINE Along with securing his 90th win in Week 14 at Cincinnati in 2015, Mike Tomlin also led the Steelers to its eighth win of the season.
