Odds & Ends on the VT-Duke Series The all-time series with Duke has been played in seven different cities, including Blacksburg and Durham Other sites are Raleigh, Greensboro, Roanoke, Charlotte and Wytheville, Va. So far this season, Virginia Tech freshmen have played 51.5% of the 3,650 minutes played by the Hokies. Under 50 The Hokies defeated Charleston Southern, 79-49, on Jan. 7 and it marked the fifth time this season that the Hokies have held an opponent to fewer than 50 points in a game... Last season, the Hokies held three opponents to fewer than 50 points and two opponents to less than 50 points in the season...
