2 /2c Wide pick cut (corner) Option: cut Option : flare 3-1 1/2 c diagonal high to low pick (motion) *Inside platers: Rick Pitino 20 min 2-2 1/2c Center cuts under basket fro the weak side Center cut to the low post from the weak side -Front pivot, fake, 1 dribble in the mid of the key and finish.coach with pad bump -Reverse pivot, fake, 1 dribble Both sides work 10 min + 10 min 2-0 1/1c Outlet pass several options with fast break *O Brien corrects perimeter players and Pitino inside players After 1 hour 45 minutes, water break 2 min Defensive Break down: C trap speed dribble, see the man and play the ball C Green and White press. Coach pass the ball to player ho introduce the ball. 24 offense C pass to player who introduce the ball = /1c Compete up to 18 pts 2= basket 1 = steal 1= R *Winner and losers. Losers must complete suicide in 17 seconds 1 min Water break 5-5 1/2c doble down low post 5-5 ½ diagonal pick 5-5 ½ base line cross pick 5-0 ½ Motion 1, 2, /1c Transition into motion 5-0 1/1c Transition into circle
3 Conditioning: Team shot for 3 pts = 20 pts in 90 seconds.one ball, three players run down and back Team lay ups( 2 pts) = 80 pts in 2 minutes.divide team in two groups.two coaches on elbows, 4 balls.pass to coac and run.coach pass back and players dribble to other basket for lay up. *First time they scored 67 pts and Pitino demanded second time. *Second time they scored 83 points.
