He has three children and resides in Indianapolis. MIKE BROOKS BEN DAVIS Averaged 14.9 points as a senior for 23-4 regional champions his senior year. Leading team to semi-state finals, he scored 32 points against #1 Anderson in the semi-state. Made 42 of 44 FTs during state tournament run, named all-marion County, all-metro, all-sectional, allregional, all-semi-state and nominated for the McDonald s All-American game. Set Ben Davis season (90%) and career (84%) FT% records. CRAIG BRUNES BROWNSBURG 1992 Indiana All-Star. Finished 3 rd in Mr. Basketball voting after totaling 1,778 points and 433 assists at Brownsburg. Teams won three sectionals, two regionals, two-time CSAC conference champs and two-times Hendricks County tourney champs. Teams were 48-6 his junior and senior seasons and in his career. He graduated as Hendricks County career scoring leader, 1992 AP, Coaches and Bloomington Herald-Times 1 st team all-state, 1992 Indianapolis Metro Player of the Year, 3x all-sectional, 2x all-regional, 2x all-semi-state, 1991 HOF Classic all-tourney team and 1992 McDonald s All-American nominee. Played two seasons at Joliet Junior College, winning 1994 NJCAA National Championship, and two years at Valparaiso University. Scored over 1,000 points at Joliet, named 1994 NJCAA National Championship all-tournament team, 2x all-conference. Was assistant coach at Valpo for their 2001 Mid-Continent Conference champion team. Is currently employed in sales & leasing at Hunt Pacific Management Company in Fishers. Married, with two children, he lives in Fishers. ALAN BUSH BEDFORD NORTH LAWRENCE Scored 1,333 career points in three seasons at BNL, setting six school records. Averaging 10.4 ppg as a sophomore member of their 1990 state champions, he averaged 23.2 ppg as a junior and 26.2 ppg as a senior. Teams were 65-9 over three years, winning a pair of Hoosier Hills Conference championships. He set BNL records for game, season & career FT% and game, season and career 3FG% and was named 1 st team all-state as a senior by the Bloomington Herald Times and Louisville Courier Journal. Scored 1,516 career points at Marian College, leading all college divisions in FT% as a sophomore and twice earning honorable mention all-conference honors. Involved in coaching at BNL for seven years, he was 30-3 as freshman coach for two years and as JV coach for five years. Married with four children, he lives in Greensburg. MATT DELINGER FORT WAYNE CONCORDIA 1992 Indiana All-Star. Totaled 1,251 career points, school-record 890 rebounds and 206 blocks at Concordia. Averaged double-figure scoring all four years, one of only five players in Concordia history to top 1,000 varsity points. Averaged 18.3 points and 12.7 rebounds as a senior, named 3x Summit all-conference, all-state, 1992 East-West All-Star, 1992 Indiana/Northeast Ohio All-Star and 1992 Nancy Rehm All-Star. Played two seasons at Cleveland State University and one at Towson State. Named Defensive Player of the Game 16x at Cleveland State. Totaled 287 college points and 218 rebounds in four seasons. Since 1996, he has served in the U.S. Marines, U.S. State Department, National Security Agency (NSA) and is currently in operations for the U.S. Army, having served four tours of duty in combat zones including Iraq, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa. Has received awards and medals for service in Iraq, Afghanistan and actions taken during 9/11. Married for 23 years, he has six children and resides in Clarkston, Michigan. JOE ESTES JEFFERSONVILLE Averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds as senior for state finalists, who reached #1 state ranking and #8 national ranking. A 1991 Street & Smith s honorable mention All- American, honorable mention all-state, HHC all-conference and 1 st team all-area, he was Hoosier Basketball Magazine 1 st team all-state, East-West All-Star and was MVP of the North- South All-Star game. A part of teams that were over three years, they won two sectionals, two regionals and 1992 semi-state, losing in OT to eventual champ Richmond. Played at Loyola University (Chicago), averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds per game his final season. Named MCC Player of the Week and hit game-winning three-pointer vs. Northwestern during his college career. Employed in education since 1997, he has been Director of the Joe Estes Off the Streets basketball camp. Has been a junior high & high school coach, currently varsity assistant at Jeffersonville H.S. Averaging 18.4 points and 7.2 rebounds as a senior, he was named Bloomington Herald Times 1 st team all-state, Coaches 2 nd team all-state, AP 3 rd team all-state, all-sectional, all-regional, selected to Coca Cola Classic and Kentucky Derby Festival game and 1991 Nike Elite Camp. Teams won three sectionals and 1991 regional, advancing to Elite Eight. Recorded 1,043 points, 641 rebounds and 251 blocks at Dartmouth College, and still holds their season (92) and career blocks records. Named 2x all-ivy League honorable mention and 2x 2 nd team all-ivy League. Played 1997 in Portugal before beginning his career in 1998 with Embrace Home Loans, where he is currently Vice President of Capital Markets. He is married with four children and lives in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. RICHIE HAMMEL LAFAYETTE JEFF 1992 Indiana All-Star. Scored 1,457 points for the Bronchos, setting Tippecanoe County career scoring record. Averaged 21.1 points as a senior for Jeff s 25-3 state runner-up team and was named 1992 Trester Award winner. Set records for highest season scoring average (24.8 ppg as junior), most career 3FGs, most games played (86), most double figure scoring games (28 consecutive) and most games over 20 points (34 times). Teams won three sectionals, two regionals and 1992 semi-state. Bloomington Herald Times 1 st team all-state, AP 2 nd team allstate and Coaches 3 rd team all-state. Statistics unavailable for his season at U.S. Air Force Academy Prep School, where they played against junior colleges. Limited time playing at U.S. Air Force Academy, before resigning his Air Force appointment and completing a degree in psychology at Indiana University. Since 2011, he is a health insurance agent for U.S. Health Advisors. He lives in Dallas, Texas. STEVE HART TERRE HAUTE SOUTH 1992 Indiana All-Star. Averaged 20.3 ppg and 6.3 rpg as a senior for 17-7 Braves to be named Bloomington Herald Times 1 st team all-state and AP & Coaches 2 nd team all-state, helped South to 1991 state finals as a junior. Averaged 16.1 points per game for his high school career. Played two seasons at IU and two at Indiana State, totaling 734 career points, averaging a career-high 13 ppg as a senior at ISU in the season. Played in the CBA, USBL and NBDL, two years in training camp with NBA Minnesota Timberwolves, also played overseas in Cypress and China. Averaged 24.8 points and 12.7 rebounds as a senior, leading team to 1992 semi-state finals. Teams won four NIC conference titles and he was 3x 1 st team all-conference, averaging 20+ ppg his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Led Harrison to 1 st ever sectional championship senior year, totaling 33 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocks in the sectional title win over Evansville North. Three-year career at University of Kentucky, totaled 946 career points and 522 rebounds. Averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds as a senior for 34-2 NCAA National Champions, he was 2x SEC all-conference and the 19 th pick of the 1996 NBA Draft to the New York Knicks. Played 639 games in 10 seasons in NBA with New York, Boston, Phoenix and LA Clippers.
