4 GORDON HAYWARD: NBA All-Star I started coming to St. Vincent Sports Performance in 2010, right after I left college for Pre-Draft Training. 5 PERFORMANCE COACHING Head Instructor Rob Blackwell Rob Blackwell is a renowned basketball skills development trainer who has worked with players at all levels from around the country. He is returning for his fourth year with St. Vincent Sports Performance, where he leads workouts with NBA Pre-Draft workouts as well as offseason training with current players, like Gordon Hayward, Josh McRoberts, Carl Landry and Robbie Hummel. Prior to each athlete s arrival at SVSP, Blackwell performs a full video and statistical analysis in order to prepare individualized improvement plans. His experience as a player, coach and owner gives him an eye for talent and development, a knack for motivating and teaching, and ability to evaluate, giving each player a competitive edge. Rob connects with each player through his detailed knowledge of the skills needed to enhance each individual s game. 6 ON-COURT SKILLS TRAINING The players who hear their name called at the top of the NBA Draft are the ones with a properly developed all-around game. Our athletes benefit from our decades of experience instructing both NBA and NCAA players. At St. Vincent Sports Performance, we focus on each individual aspect of the game of basketball to help you become a complete player. Our coaches incorporate technical and tactical skills to build an athlete's confidence to make the transition from amateur to professional basketball, with training focused on improving a player's skills such as: Shooting Form/Technique - Defense - Offensive Identity - Position-Specific Skills - One-on-One Game - Court Space Management - Ball Handling Footwork - Defense - Pick and Pop - Pick and Roll - Passing - Transition Game - Rebounding - Free Throw Shooting - Jump Shooting - At the Rim - Post Play Player-Specific Skills SPEED AND STRENGTH TRAINING We specialize in speed development, flexibility, strength and power. Athletes in our program gain more explosive power, increase their stamina and improve specific agility and movement execution. No matter if it's your linear speed, overall agility, or vertical jump, attention to detail can make the biggest difference on the stopwatch. We document every aspect of the athlete's technique, strength, execution and explosion so they can maximize performance. Strength training can often be overlooked during preparations for the NBA Draft. We know that your strength drives the vertical jump, acceleration, and overall speed required to impress NBA executives. Our weight training will prepare you for the necessary strength, endurance, and power required to rip through every test you face.

7 PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY Noah Basketball offers the only basketball shooting aid that can correctly measure the arc and depth of every shot taken while providing instant feedback to the shooter. This instant feedback allows immediate adaptability and correction to the shot, building muscle memory and confidence within the shooter. Using the Noah Basketball system will not affect the way you currently practice and can be used with multiple teams. It is not just another basketball shooting aid, but a personal coach that builds shooting improvements in both teams and individuals. Synergy Sports Technology allows you to look up teams and players when executing plays like post-ups, pick and rolls, isolations, off screens, spot-ups, transitions and more. It sorts video for shot attempts such as: catch and shoots, jump shot off the dribble and drives to the basket. It lets you watch video of traditional stats like shots, assists, rebounds, steals, turnovers, and provides charts to demonstrate range and tendencies. Interactive shot charts let you find shots for any part of the game, or sort shots by play type, bench vs. starters, individual players and much more. View and sort video by man-to-man or zone, end or side out-of-bound plays, after timeout plays, and times the team pushes the ball in transition. To maximize your opportunity in the NBA Draft you ll need to be prepared for more than just what happens on the hardwood of a basketball court. NBA coaches and scouts analyze one-on-one interviews and group media sessions the same way they scrutinize your jumpshot. St. Vincent Sports Performance will help you score with NBA executives when you re nowhere near a hoop. We maximize your performance when the pressure is on. Through personal consultations, small-group educational workshops, and neuropsychological testing, our athletes are able to gain an edge on the competition when they re off the court.
