Pittsburgh s defense will try and hold the opposing quarterback to a passer rating of 90.0 or less for the 12th time this season. The Steelers defense is looking to register at least one takeaway for the 13th game this season. Looking to record at least three touchdown passes for the fourth time this season, marking the second most times he has thrown for at least three touchdowns in one season (5 in 2007 and 2009). If Roethlisberger throws for three touchdowns he will record the second-most passing touchdowns during the regular season in his career: Season GP TD Passes TD% If he does not throw another interception, he will finish the season with the second-fewest interceptions in his career. It will also be only the third time in his career that Roethlisberger has thrown for less than 10 interceptions in a season. Looking to record a passer rating of for the fourth time this season, which would tie for the second most times he has registered a passer rating of at least in the same regular season (four in 2004 / five in 2009). Is looking to throw for at least 360 yards for the third time this season, which would tie (2011, 3) for the second most times he has thrown for at least 360 yards in one season (2009, 4). Needs 290 passing yards to reach 30,000 for his career. RB Jonathan Dwyer Looking to eclipse 100 yards rushing for the third time this season. In the first five seasons under Tomlin, the Steelers won at least five games at home each season. The last time Pittsburgh did not win at least five home games in a season was Since 2004, Pittsburgh and New England are the only teams in the league to register at least five wins at home during each regular season. Pittsburgh finished the 2004 regular season with an undefeated (8-0) home record for only the third time in team history and for the first time in 25 years. The Steelers finished the 1979 regular season with an undefeated home record (8-0) and eventually won Super Bowl XIV. The Steelers were also undefeated at home (7-0) in The following is a look at the list of the Steelers records at home since 2004: Year Record Defense Feels At Home: The Steelers have yielded only 109 points in seven home games this season. Pittsburgh s 15.6 points per game allowed at home is fourth in the NFL and first in the AFC this season. Team Home GP Points Per Game Allowed at Home Seattle San Francisco Chicago Pittsburgh In eight home games in 2011, the Steelers allowed a total of 80 points, giving up 10.0 points per game, the lowest in the NFL. It was also the sixth lowest in Steelers history: Year Points Per Game Allowed at Home Since Dick LeBeau has been defensive coordinator (2004- present), the Steelers have allowed an average of 15.5 points per game at Heinz Field, which is the lowest in the NFL over that time span for points given up at home during the regular season. If You Build It, They Will Come: The Steelers have averaged 62,472 fans in seven home games this season. If Pittsburgh holds that average for the rest of the season, it will mark the ninth straight regular season they averaged over 62,000 fans per game. In 2011, Pittsburgh registered a total attendance of 504,279, marking the fourth consecutive season that over 503,000 fans attended games at Heinz Field. Since Heinz Field opened in 2001, Pittsburgh has recorded over 503,000 fans six times. In the 2010 AFC Championship victory over the N.Y. Jets, the Steelers broke the single-game record. The attendance of 66,662 surpassed the old mark of 65,597 set October 25, 2009, during a game versus the Minnnesota Vikings. The previous regular-season record was 65,392, which was set on November 16, 2009 versus Cincinnati. Pittsburgh set the team home attendance record in 2009 by averaging 63,458 (507,882 total). The Steelers 2012 first-round pick, G David DeCastro, spent the first 11 games of the season on Reserve/Injured; Designated to Return List before being reactivated. The Steelers third-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, LB Sean Spence, and TE/FB David Johnson, who started all 16 games for the Steelers in 2011, suffered injuries during the preseason that have sidelined them all year. As the season has progressed starting T Marcus Gilbert, G Willie Colon and reserve LB Chris Carter have been placed on injured reserve. As the Steelers get players back from injury others go down. Just as Pittsburgh saw the return of S Troy Polamalu for the win

9 over the Ravens (Week 13), they are still without CB Ike Taylor, who has missed most of the last four games. This season Pittsburgh has had to count on backups at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tackle, guard, center, outside linebacker, cornerback and both safety positions. Over the last two weeks, the Steelers started two rookies on the right side of the offensive line, OT Kelvin Beachum and G David DeCastro, who has only played in three games since coming back from a knee injury. Pittsburgh also was missing its number one and three cornerbacks (Taylor and Cortez Allen) at Dallas, which created a starting opportunity for first-year CB Josh Victorian who was playing in his second career game after being promoted from the practice squad. The Steelers have even moved guys to different positions to cover for injured players, Maurkice Pouncey had started his entire career at center until Week 13 at Baltimore when he moved to guard due to Colon s injury.
